Aria Vale had been very careful indeed in her choice to befriend the Sith Empire. Sith were prone to destruction - and in too many cases, their own groups were not exempt (she despised that - despised betrayal. Sometimes it was necessary, but these ones did it because they had run out of enemies to tear down and turned on their allies instead. Those were the kind of dangerous she could never trust.)
She had seen the Sith Order rise and fall. But she had seen the Sith Empire built from its ashes, and she was growing to trust it had learned from its predecessor's mistakes.
So, loyalty.
Her interests would always come first, but for now they tied in with that of the Empire. She had taken care to ensure that if she had to she could withdraw her allegiance at a moment's notice, but that was a last resort she hoped things would never come to and until they did she was loyal. When they called, she would answer.
Darth Banshee of the Sith Empire had called. Aria had answered.
"Certainly. I'll have it ready ahead of schedule," she promised.
And she was true to her word. Within three hours and thirty-seven minutes, the Sith Lord would have a gown prepared for her made of the most expensive silks their suppliers could afford, adorned and bejewelled to a state of total majesty.
One of Kova Apparel's droids would deliver the gown to Serenno's queen, informing her that Aria Vale would be along shortly if she was required.

Duchess of Serenno. That came as something of a surprise (Aria had never thought of herself as one for titles, for ownership), but far from unwelcome. One part of her mind thought on what it would mean in the long term, if it was a tie to the Empire that she couldn't afford. The other answered Banshee, steeled words undertoned with her smile."Certainly. I'll have it ready ahead of schedule," she promised.
