Invasion The Reckoning [Invasion of Empress Teta: Mandalorians vs One Sith]

Location: Outside the City
Allies: Whoever shows up
Enemies: [member="Cyrus Tregessar"], [member="Mantorok"], [member="Kymaero Vol"]
Objective: Breach outer defenses, Reach the City, Support Infantry, Engage and Eliminate Key Targets

<Sheb. Shielded.> Olivia thought to herself when she saw the brief flash of color protect the Sith Assault Walker. Her commanders had orders to fire at will and each tank was complying. Volley after volley of anti-tank mass-driver rounds were hurled into Sith mechanations at speeds of more than a kilometer a second, and yet they the walkers appeared to be shrugging it off. "Fething Sith." Olivia said quietly to herself. "Where did they get this kind of hardware?"

Another Proton Cannon struck the hull of her tank. A resounding explosion rocked the crew and slid the massive vehicle back a few centimeters. <Another glancing shot...> Olivia thought to herself, never more thankful for her people's iron armor than right now. As powerful as Proton Cannons were, they were designed for use against shielded Republic ships and vehicles, not the Beskar-clad Juggernauts made by the Mando'ade. She had nine such tanks spread across over 600 meters of land. They were in a line formation, split up into groups of three... And each one had lowered its massive tonnage to the ground, turning itself into one of the most heavily armored bunkers in the galaxy.

They could hold.

For a while anyway. What was most important was that Olivia balanced the terms of engagement. Those walkers were continuing to close the gap between them and Olivia needed there to be far less of them by the time they arrived. A switch was flipped and Olivia's voice reached out to her besieged half company of tanks. "All tanks cease fire. We need to focus our attacks on one target at a time. We'll start on the right flank and kill them one-by-one until the left flank is clear." She said calmly, knowing that both her voice and her leadership would calm and reassure her troops. "Target western-most Assault Walker. Ignore the smaller targets for now and aim center-mass on it."

Olivia paused for a moment, feeling the turret of her own Canderous rotate slowly to the right as her gunner acquired her target. She waited for the turret to stop its rotation, feeling the slight vibrations in the hull as smaller motors adjusted the barrel up and down to line up a shot. When the motors stopped, Olivia waited three seconds longer, knowing that the vehicles on her eastern arm would need the time to turn their turrets a further 30-degrees than her own had needed. At last however, ice filled her voice as she gave the order. "Fire."

A twin recoil rocked the tank as the main weapon fired. Wasting no time, Olivia barked out her next set of orders. "Eyes on target. If it's still standing, you fire at will until it's not. Once disabled, acquire next target and fire at will."

Grozurra continued his charge, Ryyk Blades swinging through the air as he pumped his arms and ran as fast as his wookiee legs could carry him. He watched as the massive creature hurled himself through the wall of the building. <How dare he defile sacred, McYoda ground!> Grozurra thought to himself in anger. The Juggernaut of a wookiee continued his charge, bursting through the same hole as Tsavong a few seconds after the 'Vong abomination.

Grozurra slowed to a slow walk as his eyes danced along the interior of the building. It was more beautiful than he had ever imagined. A wall of fountain drinks was across from him. To his right, several green stools and tables dotted the path between himself and the main counter. To his left... The play pen. Dozens of meters of brightly colored, duraplast, child safe tubing stretched from floor to ceiling and continued upward along the side of the multi-floor building. Beneath the tubing... Thousands of fist sized, multicolored balls filled a pit that stretched the length and breadth of the room. Oh how Grozurra had always wanted to play in a McYoda's play pen. Ever since he was a young wookiee on Kashyyyk, he had heard tales of the wonders of the McYoda play pen.

Was that a happy meal?

Grozurra's head snapped around as his eyes registered the massive Vong warrior standing at the main counter. Several completed but abandoned orders lined the counter from when the building had been evacuated. Among the small wall of food... The bright green box, shaped as the face of Yoda, that was unmistakably the source of all happiness for children across the galaxy. It was a happy meal. And Grozurra was not about to let the Sith-boot licking, Yuuhzan Vong crab-wearing freak get it before he did.

Returning his Ryyk blades to his belt, Grozurra quickly crossed the room while the creature was enjoying his cold, refreshing beverage. "MY HAPPY MEAL!" Grozurra yelled, his voice amplified by the external speakers of his helmet and right into Kraal's ear. A second later, two large wookiee paws would attempt to grab Kraal by the shoulders and HURL HIM across the room and into the ball pit.

Elara was a fairly basic soul. She was a Mandalorian, and though possibly speciesist, she figured anything that repulsive had to be a Sith ally. In the end, she didn’t care. She was lost, alone and not even sure if her sister was alive. All she had was a headache, two rippers, and a Skaven ripoff to gun down.

“I don’t care!” Elara shouted, her voice cracking only a little.

She fired three more shots at the monstrous creature, hoping to smite him when he was down.

"Yeah, well, I have to side with the worm on that one," Betna said as a joke. "I like the look of you more than me, too."

The shots he peppered the giant beast with left gaping wounds that wept black, ugly ichor. The flames burned hotter, charring the creature's flesh to cinders. It wasn't dead, but it wasn't going to keep fighting for much longer if they kept at it.

That said, if he wasn't careful about the plasma raining down everywhere, neither would he.

"Y'know, this would be so much easier if it wasn't raining so much," he said, attempting lighthearted humor as he dodged the incoming fire from the creature.

The thing turned its head, aiming for Anija. Betna spotted where the fire had eaten away at the side of the worm's head, burning the flesh to reveal the weakened muscle beneath. Figuring that the thing's anatomy wasn't much different from the standard layout, Betna brought the crosshairs onto the spot and let loose with the three heavy blaster cannons.

With luck, a few bursts would punch through the muscle and into the brain. If the brain was up in the head, that is.

Objective: Turn the Chrom Vrone into slag...

She smirked slightly at his comment and then cursed as she saw the Chrom Vrone angling towards her again. It really hadn't liked the nuke she'd dropped down it's throat. Snap-rolling her bes'uliik away, she looped back around and opened up with her heavy cannons again. She too was beginning to see the black ichor seeping from the wounds on the creatures side and head. Apparently, the creature's natural armor couldn't hold out all that well against two flame-carpet bombs.

Anija swore softly, intentionally ignoring ANNE's proximity warnings as the chrom vrone spat more plasma at her. She yanked back on the flight controls, sending the bes'uliik into a steep climb. Just before she would have stalled out, she rolled sideways into a corkscrew maneuver before coming back around with her heavy cannons spitting lasers at the creature. Slwoly, they began to eat away more of the creatures flesh. Where the wounds wept black ichor, it fell to the ground below, the hot substance sizzling as it made contact with the metal of the rooftops and the streets below.

She utterly hated not being able to sense anything around her... thanks to the fething ysalamiri in the passenger space behind her. But, she also understood the tactical advantage of it. If limited. But Feth, it made her head ache. She was glad it wasn't more. She could only image what it felt like for the jetiise or the Siite. Though, in all honesty, she didn't much care. Shaking her head, she narrowed her eyes slightly. her HUD interpreted this as a command to zoom in on the Chrom Vrone. The visual of it swelled and filled her HUD, and she could clearly see the damage they had done to the creature. Taking a breath, she keyed the comm, making sure to use the secure microburst frequency. "Let's slag this thing and then go see if we can help the others.."

Objective: Draw fire, and survive

Seeing that my force push and pull had absolutely no effect on the mandolorian I changed method seeing the revolver that the man drew from his thigh. The thing looked as though one round would tear a whole in my body, which I wasn't to keen on. I actually like having my body the way it was. It had enough burns and scars littering it as is. Using my enhanced speed though I darted out of the streets into a nearby alleyway to regain my composure. Peeking my head out I had to quickly duck back behind cover as the blaster and slugthrower rounds tore into the wall. Dust showered me making my white hair look like it was sparkling which may not hurt no one, but it did piss me off. Who ever said I wanted to be a sparkling Force Vampire? Running out from cover I threw my double sided saber at Azrael and guided it for a bit before ducking back into the alley knowing it was on course for its target.

Using the distraction I had caused I used my speed to run down the alleyway onto another set of streets before running down it another alley that would be closer to the Mandolorians. I already moved faster then any human could hope for without the force but as I called upon it to flow through my body empowering me I began to move even faster everything seeming to turn into a blur. I turned down another alley running at a extreme speed I exploded into the streets behind Azrael and summoned the nearby discarded Roughcut to my hands though to me it looked like nothing more then a regular shotgun. I'd continue my charge at the Mando darting back and forth till I was up close and personal before firing the weapon at him.

Objective: Save him
Allies: [member="Ordo"]
Enemies: [member="Gilamar Skirata"]

As [member="Gilamar Skirata"] and [member="Ordo"] continued to fight mid-free fall, Darth Junra and the speeder that she had acquired continued to race through the sky. She heard of reports detailing where Ordo’s location was. In the distance, her speeder could be seen approaching Ordo’s location.

Looking up, Darth Junra’s eyes widened at the sight of her falling Dark Lord.

Catch them!” she ordered the driver.

As commanded, the speeder sped up to quickly attempt an approach of Ordo and Gilamar. If it could do so, it would attempt to match the falling speed of the two Mandalorians and carefully catch them - placing them in the bed of the speeder behind Daella.

While the driver attempted that maneuver, Darth Junra drew her lightsaber in her right hand and a slugthrower in her left. She unfastened her seatbelt and waited to see if the two would be caught.

Objective: Protect slimey

A fast approaching blip would appear on Mandalorian scanners. Chatter on the comms would begin. A silver bullet, the X-70B Phantom, darted across the airspace of Cinnagar toward the location of the Worm controlled by [member="The Hydra Queen"].

Soon, it approached close enough to [member="Anija Ordo"] and [member="Arrbi Betna"] to be visually identified. It seemed to be similar to a Nubian design - something for civilians and luxury transport. As it screamed toward the Bes’uliik starfighters, several ports on the ship opened and the barrels of cannons emerged. The starship itself was ninety-four meters in length - clearly a heavy starfighter meant for a highly ranked individual’s use.

Inside the starfighter, Kirk sat at the controls. He had a female Zeltron partner on the other side of the bridge - handling a lot of the finer details that Kirk did not want to maintain.

Hmm,” sighed Kirk as the starfighter quickly approached the Mandalorian fighters, “Definitely need some music.

Then with a quick press of a button, some upbeat music began to play on the ship’s interior speakers, the open communication frequencies, as well as the outside of the ship.

Grinning, Kirk then pulled a trigger on the yoke. The ship had locked onto the two Mandalorian ships and fired two missiles at them.

HURK!

Tsavong was a big guy, but this Wookiee seemed to be just as big. Two big furry paws came out lightning quick and grabbed Tsavong by the shoulders. A silent microsecond passed as Tsavong and the beast locked eyes. The Tyrant's own green eyes stared back into the big overgrown dog's as jawa juice spilled down his chin. He looked down at the big furry paws that had grabbed him.

And then he sneezed at the Wookiee's face.

Apparently, Tsavong was a bit allergic to the Wookiee. Something he hadn't known before. Right thereafter the equally large behemoth of a Yuuzhan Vong was tossed across the room, grabbing a bag of McYoda's as he was flung into the ball pit.

"Get BACK you dog!" He yelled, grabbing a McYoda's turkey breast and attempting to engulf it as he tried to wade through the massive ocean of balls to get out of the pit.

DA OBJEKTIVE: PITY ME!

Poor Smeg.

Before the One Sith had taken over Coruscant he was just a simple Skraal, manipulating his fellow rodents with the promises of meth-like cheese and all the filth that they could roll their scraggly bodies in. Before the One Sith came the fate of Smeg was clear, set in the stars, he would reign gloriously for perhaps a year, maybe two and then die an undignified death at the hands of morbid rodent obesity. Immunity to pestilence they made have had, but cholesterol and diabetes were off that list.

Now he was set to be ended by deadly weaponry and not a bloodstream flowing with cake. C'est tragique! But she didn't care! Well lady, maybe you should! Send the message 'SMEG' to 70034 on your datapad to donate five credits to a worthy cause, we're going to get him a treadmill.

A panic squeak escaped as she fired more shots at him, forcing the Skraal to drag his lard arse up and off of the ground to avoid certain death.

“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!”

Oh Force! What smells like a burning mountain of seven year old garbage!?! That would have been the tip of Smeg's already half-tail, that caught the obliterating force of one of the three shots. The smell of destroyed putrid Skraal flesh punctuated the air around them.

Most at this point would have turned and charged at the enemy, but not Smeg, the cowardly rodent. He curled up upon the rooftop, clutching his wounded tail in his claws.

“WHY IZ YOU SHOOTIN' SMEG?!” he squealed, half-panting from his previous exertions of energy, “SMEG'Z NOT HURTIN' YOU!!!”

Opening Sequence
[media]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKpMoPwfiqY[/media]

Silara moved through the streets with her saber ignited at her side, making her way through ruined buildings that had once been homes and
storefronts, as she searched for a suitable opponent to test her abilities, the Mandalorian troops that speckled the streets being not much more than cannon fodder, a wave of blaster fire and grenades - both of which were not much of a help once a large projectile was hurled in their general direction. Making her way to the rooftops to both get a better view of the area, and to evade a passing group of foot soldiers, the Vahla teen reached out with the force, both finding targets and also finding pockets of space that seemed to be void of anything, as if contained by a fog that she could not see through. In a moment of frustration she gripped her fingers tightly around the hilt of her saber as her free hand opened, using the force to pull the saber that she held in her right hand to her left through the force, and then leapt up and forwards across several rooftops, combining a running start using force speed with a series of small-scale force jumps to continue on her way. What she came to see, which halted her progression, was a Skraal that looked very much like an over-sized, pathetic, rat. It was obvious, however, by whom he was being assaulted by that he was more of an ally than the female that had entered her eyesight.

Reaching out with the force, her right hand gesturing to fallen debris as she raised it up in a throwing motion, Silara used the telekinetic
properties of the force to throw the moderately large chunk of what appeared to be a remnant of a wall at [member="Elara Lok"], simultaneously bringing her saber diagonally in front of her in a minor defensive stance, her feet pushing her back several steps. "Rala jinr be ner kapr cretaor chaab e'yar'u gar." The half-Hapan said in a hushed tone, her words projected through telepathy to those around her, presumably the Mandalorian as well, in the Mando'a tongue. "Watch me, [member="Darth Veles"], and see my progress." The Sith apprentice muttered, pushing off from her position towards the Skraal, breaking into a run as she recalled the very first piece of advice her master had given her - never jump over an enemy, or perform useless acrobatics. In this very instance she took his words with two meanings, one was as he had stated, the other was to take advantage of an aerial opponent as quickly as possibly.

Mierin let out deep breaths, exhaustion showed on her for a minute, though it soon faded away, replaced by her impassive stare. She looked up through the rubble for a minute, the ceiling had collapsed in its entirety and now made a neat little skylight into the section they were in.

The Sith Pureblood shifted her neck once or twice, hearing a slight crack, then ignoring Carach she began to climb the rubble. Step by step she moved, sometimes taking great leaps to move upwards towards what remained of the roof. A few times she nearly got snagged on a piece of still falling duracrete, once or twice her footing was not as sure as she would have liked. In a matter of minutes however Mierin stood atop the roof once more, Carach following close behind.

“We move on.” Mierin said as she began to walk towards the edge of the roof.

There she found the Mandalorian crawling towards his spear. She scowled slightly, then gave a wave of her hand. She sent a single powerful force push his way, strong enough to throw him off the roof and into the streets below. Hopefully the fall would kill him.

Then the Sith Pureblood bade Carach to follow her, there were more Mandalorians to kill.

Objective: Kill Hydra? or the Vixen? I don't know, its most confusing.

Ava hit the rooftop hard, forgetting to activate her jet pack, and rolled for a few feet before coming to a stop. She pushed herself to her feet wretching slightly as she did. The only weapon she had was a combat knife that she tugged out of the sheath on her boot and taking it in a reverse grip, and her flame thrower.

“queen,” she groaned coming to stand her full height, her body was trembling slightly, sweat made her face shine and she shook her head as if to clear her vision. Everything sensible went out of the window. Ava had never been great at close quarters combat, there was a reason she liked high perches and guns with a far reach. “I am gonna-” she wretched again doubling over as she did.

“I’m gonna kill you.” she managed finally.
Someone else decided to join them and the madness set into Ava. Before she could rationalise anything, the knife in her hand was flung towards the vixen. “Get out of it!” she yelled at her.

Ember eyes would watch the transformation with a perplexing and uniquely satisfying curiosity. The ten Hydra heads glowing green among the half chopped insect like tendrils of what passed as hair.

Red blood would ooze from the wound upon her scalp where bone and flesh had been ripped away by Ava's slug. One of the hydrastaffs would slowly start to slither down her arm, smearing the blood over the crab armor that Ava's slug had previously went ripping through.

A throaty chuckle would go echoing, as the woman would only continue to provoke the feisty Mandalorian.

That is -- until she said that word again.

"͏Ti̡c̵k ͠tock, ͝ner ̛v̢o͏d̀."͟

A nerve under her eye would twitch, that smile curling into a snarl. At her beckoning, the Hydrastaff's body would crystallize, until it formed a razor sharp edge.

Allies: The Mando'ade

As the two were falling and brawling Gilamar and Ordo were completely engrossed in their own battle. But what had happened to the war droids they had been riding mere moments before? Gilamar's beast had taken a beating, but was no where near ready to go down and was searching frantically for its rider. As it neared Gil's location its forward sensors picked up a speeder, not Mandalorian. A deep mechanical growl reverberated through its steel body.

Even this beast of steel and circuitry knew that more than this battle between Sith and Mandalorians depended on the duel. Both mens' honor rode on this fight, and nothing would stop them from finishing what had been set in motion. The five meter tall droid rammed into the speeder, claws first in an attempt to rip the thing to shreds before the pair would land.

He was deaf and blind. Karking flash bang fried his senses. Sero stumbled foreword a bit, off balance and disoriented, when suddenly he was slammed to the ground, the air driven from his lungs as the ripper tore through armor and flesh. Blood seeped from 6 holes laid across his right side going from his shoulder down to his hip.

Sero coughed and sputtered, he was drowning. “Oh, god no.” he choked out, mouth full of blood and heart full of fear. He fought to stave of the darkness, but he was too weak. His eyes hung heavy. “Please, no.” the darkness enveloped him.

Objective: Stop the Cowardly One

Running away was just foolhardy. She had the Force back, which was great. It allowed her to reach out and feel her surroundings, discovering the enemy that was lurking down below, just waiting for a chance to shoot someone in the back. She didn't know Mando's were so cowardly. She'd always thought they wanted to fight one on one, in your face, without hiding and such. They were supposed to be rough, tough, and bold. This one she felt, was not.

Reaching down, she pulled one of her thermal detonators and thumbed the activation switch for a five second timer, then chucked it down where [member="Itessa"] was hiding. Bombs away.

Using the blast to create momentum and spin her when it slammed into her arm making part of the limb go numb.... Stupid to spin in a fight but it let her bring a beskar clad boot around for a high kick on the small woman letting speed and gravity try to catch her offguard and lock her saber as the beskad came around after it to try and go over her blade and try to stop the sith from monologue (since she doesn't know she is a mute) with a slash to the vocal cords.

Objective: Disembowel

As the Beskad interlocked with the blade of his Lightsaber, Tylan began to grin, knowing full well a Mandolorian warrior worth his salt would have plenty of weaponry on his person. The problem with having that much firepower was that you only had two hands in which to use any of it at a given time. Seeing the WESTAR pistol raise up to fire off it's payload, the Sith Knight pivoted on his heel, twisting into the gun as he simultaneously hit the large trigger on the hilt of the lightsaber. The blade de-ignited rather quickly as Tylan clenched it tightly within his fist.

Twisting around Vilaz, the payload of the WESTAR barely missed Tylan as his elbow rocketed toward the center of the back of the Mandolorian's helmet, into the soft area right under his head where mobility was needed. The movement combined with the blowback of the WESTAR would at least cause the helmet to fly off Vilaz' head as Tylan soaked up the pain like a fine wine, saber reigniting as he let pressure off the momentary-style trigger.

Objective: Kill...someone, hopefully
Allies: One Sith
Enemies: Mandolorians

He'd never gotten the signifcance of Empress Teta, he was fighting his second war for this world, and he still failed to see what the hell made it worth all the bloodshed. Thumbing the ignition of his saber, the crimson blade collapsed as the last Mandolorian of six collapsed around him, choking through blood as the man held onto his life desperately Fething ambush tactics had cost Vindica precious time.

The Sith Lord moved across the landscape in a near ghostly manner, eyes darting from the earth to the ground, ensuring Protectorate bombers weren't honing down on him like the last time he'd been on the planet. "Where am I needed?" He questioned, broadcasting to all open One Sith channels, then cutting out, they knew where to find him if need be.

Striding up a ridge the dark robed figure looked out at the war raging around him, while he stood in this infurating little patch of land where absolutely nothing living was accept himself. There was plenty of the dead, crumpled and broken bodies form both side littered the area, Mandolorians with shattered visors and their brains seeping through the cracks, and Sith troops eviscerated by fragmentation and blades alike. This is how it always ended when their kinds clashed, untold bloodshed. But this was in the name of order, and as such, was very much worth it.
