The Recusant Threat - TSE Dominion of RZ7-6113-23 | Hex AH,11

Blood, blaster fire, detonations. It was the chaos of war all around Kahlil as he lead the charge with his Blackblades and allies. What he thought would be a simple task of annihilation turned into a full on blood bath on both sides. His troops getting caught in blast after blast of traps laid out, the enemy finding no quarter given and being mercilessly slaughtered as the Sith War Machine pushed on over the maimed corpses of friends and foes.

It was the first true taste of war the young Sith tasted. His body was exhausted, his energy burned out as he had been haphazardly throwing around his spells. While still at the front to hide any fear, he was slowing. He ripped his mask from his face, tossing it away as he took in a deep breath of unfiltered air, the stench of fire and char filling his nostrils. It wasn't what he expected. He wasn't a front line combatant, that much he learned.

"Sir, they're ranks have been destroyed. All officers are either fleeing or killing themselves." His own ranking officer stepped up beside him as the rest of Blackblades continued forward.

"Kill them all. If possible however, capture the officers. They'll have information I'm sure my father would want." There was a swift salute before the man began barking orders into his com, leaving the Sith to himself. Kahlil was looking forward to returning to Bastion to rest.

HIMS Dowager
Gravity bombs laid waste to the opposing fleet as crimson hues scored across the stars finding purchase on their targets. "Ready the mass drivers," she ordered, "have our group open up two degrees, let's move and enclose." Lord Admiral Raaf ordered, her hair pulled back face taut with tensions from the battle at hand. Her azure gaze switched from the holoprojector's display and the viewer. Return fire was imminent, the klaxons were now nothing more but a lull in her mind as the Dowager did little but shudder at the onslaught. At least until the ion began to hit, it was a risk she took. "Fire on the lead ship, focus fire first team."

The Dowager's team would focus on the lead vessel, while the other vessels in the task force broke off into similar teams to tackle the threat before them. "Sentongo ready our fighters," the Lord Admiral ordered, "I want the ion cannons taken out." A groan from the vessel as the stress of the ion attacks bore down on the hull. Weapons at the ready she gave the order for the ship to unleash another ferocious salvo. The lead enemy ship turned and became broadside to the Dowager - a mistake on their part. The Dowager's guns gutted it completely but not before they pulled in, firing a barrage of ion cannons. Klaxons screamed again, "damage report!"

"Engines are failing, systems have a delayed response - we're bringing on emergency backup power now."

"Evacuate the decks deemed critical, we're not losing people to these bloodthirsty vagrants."

"Right away, Admiral."

Fiolette turned now to face the viewer directly, hands on the railing, "reload mass drivers and target their bridge."

Location: Hidden Lab
Objective: BYOO

The stealth freighter swooped in, slowly descending into the crater with scanners picking up about the labratory below them. Electronics were scanned which showed that the lab was very much alive. No doubt were they researching, designing, and manufacturing small quantities of products that they can. That would come to an end all too soon.

"Nemesis, move out," as Djorn moved out to the loading ramp that was being opened for the Saaraishash operators. A grappling rope hung down to the roof of the infrastructure for the operators to stand on. Their entry point was here which required some slicing. Luckily the whole team had a personnel that was specialized in some area. Demolitions, slicing, assassination, reconnaissance, medical, and tactics. With others minoring in something else. After the slice was complete the door vent opened for the squad, with EMP grenades thrown out to the disable any electronics. Lights, cameras, whatever that had a circuit to it and ran electricity.

They wanted to come in quietly with the least amount of security to detect them. Plan was to sabotage whatever activity was going on with the heavy explosives they brought. Finally going in through the hatch all operators took their positions before moving. So far nothing came across them. They used their sensors to pick up any sort of noises nearby, but nothing. Even their HUD wasn't picking up any IFF tags nearby. Waiting a few seconds, they moved from their position in a cautious manner. Turning around the corner, they moved further in the labratory with no signs of life detected.

Strange. Maybe whatever personnel here already abandoned ship?

Objective IV - BYOO
Gather Test Subjects

It had been an arduous process, but they had finally subdued all the Purrgil Ultras in the area. Each was bound to her will or one of the other beastmasters onboard her task force. Her forces had even rounded up the smaller purrgil as one could never have too many test subjects, and she was sure they would make for interesting subjects beyond just more Menacers.

"My Lady, all preparations are made," the naval commander of the task force announced. "We've retrieved all crew members that survived the purrgil attack and secured all useful equipment from the debris."

She was staring out the window at the drifting space creatures, each one being escorted by two frigates. Such majestic creatures... and they would soon be brought into a higher service, to a more worthy cause for their already awesome power.

"Prepare to jump then, Commander," she replied.

They had decided on short hyperspace jumps, just to make sure she and the other Sith could keep their control on the Ultras and direct them towards Valrar. It would take them a while to reach the jungle world, but best to be cautious than hasty. As the blue lines of hyperspace started to appear, she directed the Ultras she had dominated to initiate their own jumps, picturing the world that was their destination and forcing the command for them to jump there.

As one, the flotilla and the massive creatures disappeared from deep space.

HIMS Dowager
Mass drivers punctured through durasteel, glasteel shattered upon impact the enemy fleet's leadership buckled under the combined might. The Dowager, however, was not without her own worry. Klaxons blared like an off-key crescendo snaring into its peak, and then it snared all the way back down. The mighty vessel's power blinked and all around her, the void watched as her power flickered. Lights on, off, life support clutching onto minuscule amounts of power as the gravity aboard the Dowager was suddenly gone and enemy vessels power forward. Fiolette flipped the power in her boots and with great pride heard the resounding seal as it clamped onto the bridge's durasteel floor. The crew followed suit and her orders continued as the Armada closed in around the enemy vessels, surrounding them on all sides.

The Dowager having bore the majority of the hits watched as the void swallowed the enemy's lead ship and the fleet unleashed a ferocious wave of firepower. "It ends, now!" The Lord Admiral gestured toward the forward bow of the next ship, "FIRE EVERYTHING!"

As power was restored to the Grand Old Lady, the ships under her command continued to load their guns. Mercilessly sending their enemies to the Netherworld, and a warning on this day was given. "Let no one give to the thought of insurrection, let no one bear a single mind against the Emperor. For all, you will receive is your death, there can be only one Empire and only one Emperor. Let these recusant insects perish like insects with the flames of the Armada at their throats and the boots of the Empire on their backs!" Once azure steel blue eyes were now overtaken by a sulphuric Sith eyes.

The Sith Armada dismantled the Recusant Navy with the clutching of a fiery fist. Insurrections were always part of the gambit, and that meant that there would always be a chance for war, and a chance for death. Fiolette Raaf stood aboard the bridge of her ship as gravity, power and everything else restored to the lumbering old lady and surveyed the damage. TIE Fighters swept from beneath the hangars outward taking on any stragglers and eliminating them.

Although covered by her uniform, the tattoo placed onto her forearm by her wife [member="Taeli Raaf"] glowed, just as Fiolette's eyes bore the hallmark of a Sith. She was finally starting to understand what this sort of power felt like, and if she were, to be honest? It felt good.
