Invasion The Republic Shall Fall [One Sith Invasion of Coruscant]

LOCATION: Jedi Temple, Great Hall
OPPONENT: Ven'Rain Sekairo

Weight lifters and Circus Strong Men don't do backflips.

The sky blue blade of the Jedi Padawan barely connected with the Sithspawn's before he whirled and ducked under his opponent's massive one. The beast spoke a series of words that rang in his ears. Those words were better left unspoken. Better the beast concentrate on the fight than attempt to taunt him. Amidst the tv spoilers and Dun Moch tactics, Ryan's eyes looked into the future, glimpsing a sight of possibilities. He growled out a response.

"Life."

He took two steps forward and struck.

The padawan's blade hummed through the air in a straight up and down cut seemingly aimed for the behemoth's chest, but just as the lightsaber swung downward it suddenly altered trajectory with the lightning swiftness born of the Force and fell straight for the hilt of the light club which the Sithspawn carried. Ryan intended to cut that cylinder in half, leaving the beast weaponless.

The Nautolan Acolyte bent down and began pressing buttons on the bomb. The soft beeps were too loud in his ears as they echoed in the deep darkness. The bomb began blinking a soft green light saying it was active.

He pulled a small Flimsy thin sensor off the detonating device and placed it at the base of his skull. If his brain stopped the bomb would now blow. For extra precaution he removed a detonation pack from the bag and placed it in under the bomb. If the main bomb was deactivated he would still have a chance to blow it.

A silent smile slowly grew on the mute Sith's green lips as he made the final calibrations and checked the remote detonator.

'Soon Jedi' he thought, 'Very soon.'

Vs: Sokrai Ronaro p5

The red Jedi cut the box in half and leapt right through the smoking debris. Leaping after Ronaro with a quick pace, the Jedi engaged her second saber mounted on her lower back. Now wielding two single blades in both hands, the red Jedi closed the distance to engage her opponents guard with a flurry of chopstick cuts. Like a drummer in a music band, her swords when chop, chop, chop; in a short fast rhythm.

She was trying to keep her opponent from fleeing again and leverage her into a clench.
Sokrai quickly blocked the rapid flurries, as she retightened her grip on her violet lightsaber. Using her telekinesis, she lifted the three shards and sent it spiraling at incredible speeds at the Knight [member=Sam Jhovna] , while she slashed at her legs with her lightsaber, hoping one of her attacks would connect.

Giving into the heat of the battle she wanted nothing more to take him out right there, all things flowing to him nothing but blended of light and shadow thoughts. Even those she had it fit the Master she came to know, here here eyes narrowed, [member="Darth Veles"]. It was his words about her son, that throw her into a given rage, this time with out a thought she reached down with the speed of the force she let her fingers wrapped around the throwing knifes, sent three going towards him, one at the head one to the left and right.

Feeling the leg give way as if nothing was left of her lower leg, sinking into the force deeply as reach into her leg, to seek out that just brought something out of her as if to let the warrior out more, he didn't just shattered her leg. Knowing the snitching in the force would have to take place later would take some time, for now would have to push through the pain. Reaching into her leather skin bag she took out a kind of body braking cap pouring it on her side wound feeling the burning wound as it slowly stop the bleed and closed the wound, using the force to seek out lower so she could move if need to be. Gathering all the little ones to her to protect like a lioness of her clubs she had one thing in mind or two things she wanted noting more to see that sith bleed, two to get these children out of the reach of these one web hands, into the safe arms of jedi, even take them back to their temple where there would be safe no war would touch them. There it was that twisting inside of her wanting nothing more then to be seek with all darkness covering, even those warrior was out to play needed to control it, to fuel it for all the right reason. The wanting was there deeper then it had been before to spill blood his blood to get the information she wanted the location of her son.

Though she wasn't entirely sure why, Ven had the sudden thought that there are likely Strongmen and Professional weightlifters who could indeed do a backflip, and that crushing dreams is not very nice. In response she mentally shrugged, reminding herself that she is not nice. Mean people seem to get farther in life. No matter how sad that is. Sure, they die lonely, but c'mon, at least they can look back and laugh about the time they had the greatest comeback ever. Or whatever they achieved in life. Maybe one day the spawn would think about this very fight. What would her memories contain? That didn't matter at the moment. "Life." Came JJ's response. Didn't seem terribly happy. Than he launched another attack. Falling for the trick she raised a blade to block, only to be left with a split second to move. Instead of trying to dodge the blow she thrust herself forward, using the closeness of her enemy to try and knock him to the ground. Her shoulder would land square in his chest if he wasn't quick enough. If he tried to avoid, there was a chance his blade wouldn't hit the hilt of hers (though only a small one). "Your answer does not satisfy me. I wish to understand why you fight. 'Life' is not an acceptable answer." She grumbled, no matter the result of her assault.

The shoulder blow took him by surprise. The Sithspawn's full weight slammed into him, spearheaded by the durasteel pauldron. Ryan's breath left him in a whoosh and he flew a full five feet backward. The marble floor rushed up to great his back. He landed with an audible impact. The youth uttered a soft groan, chest now a mass of bruises beneath his white tunic. He gritted his teeth and began to rise. Pain was an old friend of his. How long had it been since the Vong had put him in the Embrace? Every night, when he closed his eyes, it felt like he was back again. Back in unending agony. Wheezing, Ryan got to his feet, finally managing to catch his breath. He gulped in precious air like a drowning man.

The behemoth spoke again. Ryan's grey eyes glared back with a relentless tenacity. He swung his blade into guard. "You'll never understand what it means to defend the helpless and the forsaken." Korr raised one hand, little shards of rubble raised into the air. Just two, but they were quite small, only about the size of Ryan's fist. The two shards shot forward, accelerated to shockball speeds toward the behemoth's face, particularly its eyes.

He leaped forward, bounding with impossible swiftness in two leaping steps that carried him straight for the Sithspawn, then he launched himself into the air, tucked his knees to his chest, spun once, and brought the saber down toward the back of its exposed neck as he sailed over it.

It was hardly condescension, so much as fact. This 'Jedi Knight' had an undeniable youth, plain as daylight in his face. The tone of voice in this young one, how he addressed the Sith Lord, spoke volumes about the prejudice he held, the expectation of ego that was so pervasive in those who ascribed to a similar set of beliefs and way of self-comportment that Adair himself did or was supposed to have done. It was irritating how the universe sought to label and box him, especially, simply because of his predilections.

Then the boy made his move, clearly not content to be toyed with, and the hybrid let him come, thumbing his lightsaber to... off. He had seen things move as fast as this boy, nay... faster in all his years - in fact, the focus one had to have when he or another or the world was moving faster than the physical eye could track was one of the first lessons imparted to him as a disciple over eight-hundred years prior when he had first learned to move as this knight did.

Time itself seemed to have the strangest way of slowing down in moments such as these - a purposeful tool of the psyche rather than control of the flows of life ticking on - and when the fist came for his jaw, his left forearm snapped up to block the wrist of that hand, then slipped right to the front-clothes of the boy as the hand that did carry the lightsaber freed enough fingers to curl violently into the front-clothes all the same; thus, when the push came (as shown to him in a sliver of the sleight of foresight), he allowed it to hit him with a heavy grunt and used the momentum to his advantage, falling back in two quick, almost stumbling, successive steps - one foot, then the other - and vaulting the Jedi with precise, controlled violence around in a raising-then-declining demi-circle, releasing him to fly as far as the combination of momentum and the weight of the boy himself might carry him.

Upon releasing the boy, Adair set his blade alive once again in the colour of blood and the sound of a crack-sizzle. His only wish in those fractions of a second was that the boy might effect a slight catlike-ness in himself for a moment long enough - it would hardly be satisfactory to the desires of this predator to be rid of him so quickly...

Hasjo moved through the crowd, his body moving in two and three directions at once, joints flexing, unlimited by human vertebral restraints. Who he touched went down. And those who went down, stayed down. It was true for what they said about the double-bladed Lightsabers, "they can make enemies stampede over each other running for cover." Few understood the Lightsaber Pike, Jedi and Sith alike. And it gave Hasjo a distinct advantage in Lightsaber combat. Whilst the weapon did not give him more options than the traditional one bladed lightsaber, it appeared that it did, and the affect was all that was needed. There was more to combat than just the swinging of a blade. He realised now that he was losing himself in the moment, each attack following into the next was as fluid and effortless as humans blinking. As he cleaved a path through the enemies troops, he was making himself a target.

He had known that Force Users were capable of blocking attacks that they didn't know were coming. It was a heightened sense and perception of reality. His immense eyes helped him in that moment. They allowed him to see much more than most other species, giving him a nigh 180 degree vision. When the disruptor fired, he was already moving to block. It was hard to explain what overcame him, but it was as though he already knew. His Lightsaber Pike twirled between his fingers, slamming the bolt as though he were a baseball player. His pike short-circuited. The plasma vanished before he could even react. Then he felt it. Three slugs slammed into him. One through his hip, another through his mid-section and a third grazed his shoulder. Fire burst to life, he ignited. And he shrieked. He let out an involuntary Force Bellow in pure agony. A deafening roar that washed out the noise of battle as the Nautolan burned alive.

The remains of a lightclub clattered to the floor. JJ's strike had chopped the top off, deactivating it instantly. Though Ven didn't know to much about lightsabers, she knew that if the creation and destruction of such devices wasn't done properly, an explosion could occur. So she made a mental note to keep away from it. Just in case. "You'll never understand what it means to defend the helpless and the forsaken." How true, yet untrue, that was. Unless some 'mental recalibration' (such as a strong blow to the head or mental tampering) was used the beast would maintain her destructive ways. "I did. Once. But that was before one of your order killed me. But of course, that was before they returned to the Jedi. Before they were welcomed with open arms, as if they had never done anything wrong." A deep growl rose in her throat, drowning out the sound of nearby combat for a moment. That was when JJ attacked, lifting up another two chunks of debris. Did I mention this was troublesome? Ven leaped to the side, grimacing as a rock scraped past the side of her face. Blood dripped off of her ear... there wasn't any sound coming from her right ear. Whether it was from shock or damage the stone had caused was to be determined later.

Before she could even mutter a curse there was another attack heading her way. This time there was no body to try and hit the boy with. Instead she threw her arm up to try and block the blow. Once again sparks flew about, the saber cutting into durasteel, pushing past a plate of Matrix armor. Had the boy attacked directly, instead of striking while moving away, it would have been enough to lop her hand off. More pain shot through her as her burned skin seemed to scream. Ugh, she really needed another weapon. Sure, there was a blaster rifle attached to her belt... but the bolts could easily be avoided or deflected. WAIT A MINUTE- where was the saber that Ven had taken off a Padawan earlier? Wasn't it right over...? There. A few feet away from the dead body that she had mutilated before JJ showed up. If she could just get over to it... "How many die needlessly today? Sith, Jedi, Mercenaries. Soldiers, peasents, nobility. All for the whims of mortal men. Interesting..." Had to distract him. That was what she needed to do. Reaching up she removed a small bit of flesh from her ruined ear, soaking her armored fingers in blood as she did. Then she bent down, eyes on JJ, quickly snatched up a rock (a bit bigger than her fist) and chucked it at the Jedi. Blood was sent splattering around (revealing the intent of her first movement). The hope was a stray bit would be able to hit JJ in the eyes. Or make him hesitate for a second.

Aedan Miles rolled his fighter as he passed over the courtyard his dim eyes blinking a few times as he took the view in shocked slightly by how many Sith were there. With a shrug he pulled around and came in low looking over his shoulder he smirked at his R8 droid. "Hey R8 you might want to take the ship up to the Doom's Edge and get a new pilot I am sure you can find a handy job on the ship right?" Barely listening as the droid whistled and howled rather aggravetedly the young man opened the cockpit holding his breath as his ship came around merely 15 feet above the ground and then young armor plated Aedan Miles vaulted out of it spreading his arms as he used the force to slow his fall and guide himself towards a pair of combatants. Sadly for them 8 feet up his concentration was broken and he was sent spinning to the ground landing atop both of them. As he stood up he glanced back and gave himself a quick pat down before he absently kicked the Sith in the head and reached down to help a slightly dazed Jedi up patting the woman down before he gestured. "All right shoo go back to trying to save your temple go go."

After saying that he turned and made his way forward letting his violet eyes flick around the battle field almost absently as he drew forth a pair of lightsaber hilts and ignited the silvery bladed weapons with a snap hiss. Finally coming to a stop he looked around for a moment before noting a fight that seemed to be taking place near him between what appeared to be a Sith of some rank or another vs a blond spikey haired kinda jedi person. Watching for a few moments Aedan took in the movements and finally came to the conclusion that the Sith was most likely Master rank outclassing Aedan slightly due purely to the amount of force mastery he had. Something also told him that he was stronger than him at the moment. With a shrug Aedan drew upon the force to augment his own capabilities mainly his speed and strength sending himself sprinting towards them he suddenly swings his guard shoto towards the man’s abdomen as he brought his lightsaber that was in his right hand around to block any counter attack and if an attack followed he would leap off of his feet letting the blow to give him some room.

The red Jedi cut down two of the shards but was cut by the third. A 5 cm slash to the right side of her torso. She didn't stagger but was forced to backflip in order to avoid Ronaro's sweeping cut.

Unable to reply, Sokrai's Jedi opponent retook an opening stance and awaited the next move.

There was a good deal of combat going on around them and it could be confusing as to who's opponent was whos. Sam was careful not to stray into anyone else's fight or attract the attention of any nearby soldiers. The Jedi Temple was allied territory and back up from the army would be here soon. All Sam had to do was keep the SIth busy until the big guns arrived. Then this Sith assault would be nothing more than a suicide run for the Dark Siders.

The Nautolan went up like a candle, robes smoldering with chemical flames that did not require oxygen to live. A horrific shriek rippled outward from the fishhead. I don't know how to describe it. It was like the voice itself carried a power, a weight. Even on the complete opposite side of the steps from him, I could feel the energy ripple outward. It slammed into me and knocked me on my ass. I grunted and looked up blearily. Now, I enjoy a fight, see, but watching this guy burn alive? I didn't enjoy that at all.

"Holy kriff," I breathed as I watched him burn, stunned for a second at what I'd done. That was no way to go. White phosphorus, pyropheric gels... I used these weapons because I had to in order to beat these guys. They wielded something I couldn't even begin to comprehend. What's a little non-force user like myself gonna do against that. But still, even if I'd been ordered to kill them, even if he would probably have killed me... nobody deserved to suffer like that. Okay, maybe some people did, but I didn't have it in me to just sit back and watch him burn. I got to one knee and trained my rifle's optics on him, then I squeezed the trigger and sent a three round burst toward the Nautolan's chest. I hoped the rounds killed him quickly and ended his suffering. Yeah, I was trying to be merciful by killing him rather than letting him burn to death. And man, did it make me sick.

"Go... go!" came her command, as the small group of padawans began to ran to the meditation chambers from the dormitories, not realizing just what they might come against. A Sith Lord.

Erinyes was in the lead, the small togruta girl in her arms, clinging to her so. She quickly guided them through the chambers, her ears picking up words. Another Sith?

"Be strong little ones." she encouraged them, her eyes wide as she turned to an older padawan. "Take her, Amkai," she told the young Bith padawan.

With her arms free, she took her saber at hand. A precaution as they swiftly made their way as fast as they could through the main meditation chamber corridors.

Ryan's face had grown stern and hard as granite, harder than anyone his age should have ever looked, but he did look it. It was his destiny, he could feel it. The Force was shaping him into a tool, a shield. And just as shield requires the scorching flames of the forge and many blows of the hammer, so Ryan needed to endure these hardships. Inside, Ryan could feel the iron core of his pain and wrath. But he could not let go, he would not bend. It made him a hard young man. The Force whispered to him, what does not bend is broken. Ryan took in a breath, wincing at the pain it caused his deeply bruised chest.

"Enough." He coughed, determined, but voice weak. He raised a hand. A shield of the Force flickered to life deflecting both blood and stone. "I will not stand idly and chat with you as I watch my home crumble." He dismissed the shield, as quickly as it had come, with a wave of his hand.

The behemoth perhaps wished to avoid the unstable light club that Ryan had severed, but he did not. His fingers curled as he grabbed the light club with telekinesis and hurled it toward the Sithspawn. Hopefully it would explode. If not, well, Ryan was done with soft touches. Korr wrapped both hands around his saber's hilt in a two-handed grip, then bounded forward and swung his lightsaber in a blazing array of strikes, blue blade moving with impossible swiftness and bolstered by the strength of the force. First he struck in a vertical cut, aiming to cleave down from the beast's right shoulder to its left hip, then he whipped the blade in a backhanded horizontal strike aimed to slice the monstrosity in half. The power behind his blows was visceral and quite capable of shredding through the durasteel.

My arms started to feel a bit tired, but I had to keep carrying Eria. Poor girl was so scared... Feth, having a natural affinity for empathy can really suck sometimes. As much as I wanted to help rid the Sith from the galaxy, I knew that if I felt their rage, it would be hard not to give in to the dark side. "We're gonna be okay guys. Just a bit further, then we'll all be good." I was talking more to myself than the others. We kept running, unsure of what dangers may lie ahead.

Hasjo had but altogether forgotten about the fight. The overwhelming searing pain coursed through him. He dropped his Lightsaber Pike, fleeing, flailing, towards the Temple in retreat. His footsteps were sluggish, the fire was tearing through his flesh. It was taking a toll on him. It was killing him, slowly, ever so slowly and painfully. He concentrated, and in a burst of power, the liquid inside his body burst through the pores in his skin, expelling the flames. He couldn't see, his vision became blurred by the sudden onset of dehydration. He staggered forward, wondering if this was how it would end. He was hardly recognisable as Hasjo Hallu, General of the Sixth Battalion. He was now just a pitiful burnt fish. Slugs tore through his chest, a single solitary quiet gasp for air could be heard. He fell backwards. He slammed against the steps like a heavy meat bag slapping on the floor of a slaughter house. Three holes in his chest. He remained unmoving.

Sokrai frowned when her attack failed, as the shards fell to the ground with a loud bang. She knew the Jedi was waiting for her assault, so she took up her defensive stance, and instead waited for her. She knew that support was coming for the Jedi, but this wasn't meant to take Coruscant. This was a fear tactic, to show the Republic wasn't as strong as they thought. Hopefully the Mandalorians would take this advantage and invade the Republic, effectively crippling the Republic and sending the Galaxy into war.

Somberly, I moved my finger off the trigger as I watched the hostile go down. I try to think like that when I can't stomach what I do. Target, hostile. Downed. It's better than saying I watched the Nautolan's blood spray out his chest before the burnt corpse smacked into the ground. I clenched my teeth. A tightness formed in my chest around my heart. What the hell was I doing here? I breathed deeply, in and out, expelling my doubts. I just needed to follow orders. I looked away from the corpse, searching for a new target. I didn't look back.

There was no way in hell Sixth Battalion was going down without a fight. An LAAT/i streaked across the battlefield with one of their newest officers screaming over the insect-like humming of the twin engines. "Pilot, get us the hell down there!" Steam and smoke practically came out of the Colonel's ears. "Take as many men as you can hold and set up a MedEvac point half a kilometer back." The hollering man was satisfied when the pilot flashed a quick thumbs-up. The door gunners were firing away with their ball turret lasers, plowing long divisions in the Sith soldier ranks. Alongside the gunship sat several others, also preparing for the same objective to make a quick retreat with their wounded, drop down fresh bodies and supplies, and provide Close Air Support.

The gunship narrowly dodged a shrieking rocket propelled grenade, resulting in more than enough curses from Jed that a sailor would have blushed and told his mom on him. With that close encounter settling the pilot's mind, he brought down the gunship right where it was, not caring whether the blood of a few Sith coated its underside. "Get tactical, Sixth!" Jed ordered, jumping out of the side doors to put nearly an entire magazine in a single man as the rest of his troopers jumped on out. "Grab the wounded and bug out!" He reloaded his rifle. "Aye, sir!"

Just as soon as he shoved a fresh mag in the rifle did he look up and notice his wailing commander, [member="Hasjo Hallu"] a few meters from him, near the steps. His body was engulfed in flames. "Jenkins, Wade; on me." The Colonel told the medic and infantryman next to him before starting off towards the shrieking nautolan.

...after leaving his previous position Ronan would have emerged out onto a new one shortly thereafter. Simply put he'd moved back into the skyscraper and went several rooms over to a different balcony that offered him the same amount of cover but essentially the vantage point as the previous one he'd had; angles may have changed somewhat but that was all. The Camouflage Armor continued to ensure that he would move relatively unnoticed, very unnoticed to anyone at a distance, by anyone in the local vicinity and meant he'd reach his new position before very long...

...as he emerged out onto the new balcony Ronan would suck the butt of his Disruptor Rifle against his shoulder again before he steadied the rifle over the balcony side for support and to assist in managing recoil as well as stability. Using the zoom scope affixed to the rifle he'd have begun searching out a new target...

...he'd do a quick sweep of the battlefield where he discovered the red haired woman was still engaging the sith acolyte however the Nautolan seemed to be out of the fight. When Ronan did a quick sweep of his body he appeared unmoving though not disintegrated. No use wasting a shot on someone who was out of the fight though. Without more than a brief pause which allowed him to assure his last target wasn't moving he'd have moved on until he sought out and discovered his next target...

...another Nautolan, this one looked as though it was engaged with a Sith woman. No matter. Ronan had no ideations as small as honoring a one on one combat. Allowing the zoom scope to hone in on the Jedi, he assumed it was a Jedi anyways, just after he had unleashed his force push on Darth Nephthys he would have taken aim carefully while his chest rose and he sucked in a breath slowly. When he started to exhale Ronan would squeeze the trigger of his rifle...

...the bolt that lanced from the Disruptor Rifle lanced outwards and at a downwards angle, the target was A'donari Cinn's left leg just above his hip, as a beam of plasma energy that sought to utterly remove its target from the body it was attached to and rip the flesh of the Nautolan apart at a molecular level. If nothing else Ronan may have just bought the Sith time to make her own counterattack. Looking through his zoom scope from high above on the skyscraper balcony Ronan clicked his tongue once, silent count indicating he had six shots left, however he remained focused on the Nautolan for the moment...
