Targets: Enigma, Alexandra Cinthra

Ashe could have easily let the illusory alchemical flames continue to 'burn' around Alexandra, but such a feeble target to her was not worth the continued effort of concentration. She simply left the woman to her ignorance as she rolled around like a fool. She could have been launched into a star made of the stuff and not burned alive, which was almost humorous, but there was no time for laughter.
"Cassandra, hmm, there's no time for this. You need to leave, now...." she said, placing a hand anxiously on her fiance's shoulder.

Location: Manarai Heights.
Objective: Hold the Wall.

The aqua blue blade cleaved the Sith Knight below him in half. And before he could even get back up, Antares's form was knocked straight down to the ground with [member="Tsavong Kraal"] atop of him.

The wind was knocked out of him, he felt as if he was being crushed underneath it, he felt the presence of [member="Sochi Ru"] come closer, and despite the want to use the Force to throw the beast off of him, he knew it wouldn't work.

Antares didn't want to die, he had to hold this wall.

For the Republic.

For the people who lived on Coruscant.

"Oh joy." She paused, turning back to the fox-woman as the data continued to stream. The droids were at work on the vaults right now, and soon, the artifacts would be on their way to a safer location, where none could be critically damaged or otherwise destroyed. "Again, Ashelotte, I'm currently doing my best to keep these things intact, alright? Now are you going to help me save all these relics so they don't get destroyed by the battle, or are you going to do something else counterproductive to the situation?"

If all the artifacts the Jedi had crashed and burned, no one - not the Jedi, nor the Sith, nor the neutrals - would ever be able to recover their contents. Thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years worth of Force knowledge would be lost forever. It would be detrimental to Force users as they knew it.

"Fething Flames, hurry it up Cassandra, before we have someone else trying to stop the preservation of these archives, after that im tempted to just watch this place burn and the knowledge with it." She dusted herself off and stared back at the entrance, waiting for anyone else that decides to show up and stop them from doing this bit that they could, whether it be Sith or Jedi they had to save the Archives. Oh boy. This was quite the spectacle of three little girls playing with their toys. It would be an utter shame if someone just ran in and spoiled their fun. But Gen'Dai didn't have shame, right? Right. The armor-clad form of the monstrous bounty hunter shifted slightly near the entrance of the archives, the entrance being askew due to the massive collateral damages done. His gloved hands brought up the BTI-Reaver machine gun with so much strength as lifting a teddy bear. "Die." With the quick stroke of a finger, he sent a deadly stream of hot slugs towards the trio and their droid escorts.

Talons tears stained his face as he watched the hasty girl join the Sith. He could feel the darkness he had once walked in reach for him grasping for him like a lover in the night. He would not let go he wouldn't let the Darkside's intoxicating promises take him, not yet. He called his sabers to his hands and cliped one to his belt. He couldn't save the temple, it was rock and stones that meant nothing without the people it held. He could not save the other Jedi they were in the hands of The Force now. Killing the two before him in his state would only serve to send him over the brink and if he fell if he embraced his anger stars would turn black in his wake as he rent the galaxy assunder. He had the choice stay and fight a fruitless battle or go where he could do at least some good or was he merely excusing his own desire?

"I choose her." He said his anger barely in control, "where is she?"

He didn't care for himself and if he was the only one suffering he would accept it.

'What would Kira do?' He thought as he stepped away toward rhe Sith. 'Would she choose me over Coruscant over fighting?'

He thought he knew. He thought she would let him go and save the many and mourn him when she had the freedom to do so, but he was not that strong. He loved her it seemed for the qualities that would have left him hanging in a torture room but he couldn't see the sense of doing to her.

He watched as Isolda showed him three possibilities out of billions that the force only knew were possible and although the thought hit him he couldn't accept that Death may have been the most merciful. In truth all three were only deaths of various kinds but his heart refused to acknowledge what his mind tried convince him of. Bloody tears continued as his emerald irises became solid as if he were an emerald eyed chiss.

"I'll save her....I'll go....please...tell me where she is." His voice was filled with a sadness the Zelosian had never seen or known. The normally happy wise cracking man was dying from the knowledge his dearest friend was slowly dying at that very moment. "No more. I need to find her."

Hannibal rounded the corner, entering the archives. Explosions rocked the building with tremendous force. Things were getting hectic and this place was going to collapse at any given moment. He was going to have to make this quick. The Fondorian's stealth generator flickered off as he entered the archives, just in time to see a host of droids clearing out a vault. The droids, and a trio of unwashed morons who probably shouldn't have been involved in this invasion to begin with.

"What in the-?"

Xalus was with him, and the Gen'dai wasted no time in opening fire. Hannibal, having opted to switch over to his LMG on his way here, opted to do the same in roughly the span of a few seconds. Acidic slugs sprayed forth from his weapon, a seemingly endless spray of bullets slaying the hapless droids and threatening their commanders with a similar fate.

Alexandra was just about done with people today, first a Sith comes and interrupts them, now two more morons moving to destroy the knowledge held here. How much dumber can these people be. Alexandra, who had spent the previous months improving and creating a strong ability in Telekinesis moved to take the door that had cut out and moved it in front of herself and anyone near by, using it as a makeshift cover at least for now while the other two handled these two destroyers of knowledge. Outside the large hole, the first shuttle moved to take off, turning towards the reasonably large-sized hole in the wall. Its quad laser cannons aimed at the Gen'Dai before unloading with a large burst of high-powered laser fire. Most of the droids inside had been incapacitated, and only a couple remained functional - certainly not enough to cut through the vaults in any short span of time. Maybe the data transmission would give them the passcode to unlock the vaults.

But for now there were bigger things to worry about. The lesser bloke was easy prey for Alex, and the larger one - well, he was not that maneuverable. Eying said larger bloke, she focused, letting herself immerse herself into the White Current as she slipped behind the Gen'Dai, having grabbed one of the droids' blaster rifles, but she ached - one of the bullets not blocked by the large chunk of wall had grazed her side, and with this new body - that hurt.

Oh look! They found cover! Smart move, well played, wow.

The Gen'Dai wasn't impressed by her space magic. Not even when they summoned a shuttle in an instant. Taking off the strap to the BTI-Reaver, the armored figure took a few laser blasts to the chest, his regeneration traits kicking in instantly. In a second, he had a thermal detonator strapped to the machine gun. And like a champ GravBall player, the bounty hunter sent the machine gun and its explosives sailing right to the shuttle. Now, he'd move to cover as well, whipping out the CZ-836 strapped to his back. "Pathetic." He groaned through his helmet, lifting the barrel slightly higher, clicking a secondary trigger that launched a grenade from the underbarrel launcher before he swapped to 5.56MM BANG rounds, peppering the soon-to-be hole with explosive round fire.

"Unauthorized shuttles, power down. I repeat, Un-" the pilot suddenly cut off. "Aw kriff it. They're probably Sith. All our shuttles already evaced out. Light 'em up Kax."

Two Republic starfighters zipped down toward the shuttle and sent two proton torpedoes and a hail of laser fire at the unauthorized shuttle that was so brazenly stealing relics from the Temple.

Alexandra looked up and stared as she heard that, speaking into the mic. "PULL OFF DECENT, THIS IS ALEXANDRA CINTHRA, WE ARE SAVING THE FETHING ARCHIVES." She heard the fighters pass over, if they shot down the transports there would be no chance at getting more than the data out of here. Her eyes now found the Gendai as he started firing at her and she took stronger cover while the others are busy working on him, her eyes moved to [member="Hannibal Oryen"] and she sent her old cover speeding at his midsection before looking for the next threat.

The droids were down, and Xalus had them pinned behind some cover. It looked like these tangos knew their space magic. That was cool and all, but hokey religions and space magic were no match for a good Czerka slugthrower at your side. In this case, Hannibal had two, which pretty much made him invincible. That was how this worked, right? No? Whatever. Xalus had them covered, so Hannibal needed to move. A flanking shot on these dopes would be fantastic.

Hannibal moved forward, crossing behind Xalus. The funny thing about White Current mumbo-jumbo was, while it made people invisible to the nake eye and most sensors, it didn't make them intangible. Hannibal bumped right into the cloaked Engima. Responding instinctively to the invisible force obstructing his path, Hannibal recoiled, leveled his light machine gun at the seemingly-empty-but-apparently-not space, and emptied the rest of his clip into it.

Alexandra's projectile flew harmlessly into the adjacent wall, missing Hannibal by mere moments.

Unfortunately, the missiles were already away. Too little too late, the pilots realized their mistake, though still heavily skeptical.

Twin proton torpedos smashed into the rear of the ship, causing it to explode in a brilliant fireball that splashed debris and shrapnel into the air like a blossoming flower of death. What was left of the shuttle's hull listed sideways then fell down, down, down, before crashing into the ground at the base of the Temple in a second explosion. Fiery debris left trails of smoke through the air like deadly fireworks.

The grenade flew towards Circe... and a quick push sent it flying back towards the head of the hulking Gen'Dai. As explosive rounds pelted the ground where she was currently in cover, she focused briefly, giving her doppelganger the weapon. Said doppelganger slowly peaked up and fired at the magazine of the weapon the Gen'Dai was currently using. After all, one of the worst things that could happen with physical ammunition was a chance of cookoff, and considering the superheated plasma that comprised a blaster bolt, the temperatures were likely high enough to heat the rounds' cases to a temperature high enough to cause them to fire or otherwise detonate while still in his hands. Of course, him being a Gen'Dai meant he would soon recuperate from the damage, were he to suffer it, but it was enough.

And Hannibal... upon contact, Circe ducked to the floor directly in front of him, too close for his bullets to directly impact her - though some fragments did hit her left heel. On her back, she did the only thing she could think of at the moment - Force Push upwards. Directly at his chin. She hoped he enjoyed the reunion with his old friend, Miss Ceiling.

"Great job, pilots... Because you didn't wait for confirmation, our chance of keeping the archives from getting out of the Sith's hands is gone. We'll call for another shuttle, but it'll take time, and we need ground support now. Get a dropship here - we've got two bounty hunters, one a human, the other a Gen'Dai." Speaking in her Jentara Vel voice, one Republic communicators would rather quickly identify as that of a Republic Senator, she moved away once again, getting behind another pile of rubble.

And still the data streamed.

"I'm fully aware...." The foxtress sighed. "But you know it's not that simple. You can't stay here. You have to leave, now. There's a missile boat on the way."
"IBIS-02," Ashe privately commed through an encrypted line to an RRDI asset, "Purge and Recovery, now."
"My love... please... before.... Before something happens to you again."
The infrastructure command droid, similar to the first one requisitioned to protect her daughter long ago, Ashe's presence hooking into the stream with her holopad and causing everything downloaded to also be copied to the droid's memory thousands of lightyears away, in a completely neutral and safe location. Encryption decintegrated behind it and caused any loose data or leads to be purged as well, making it a one-way trip.
The foxtress's feral ears, thrice enhanced by her vampiric senses, heard a faint sound grow in the distance. They twitched about, into the direction of the souce.
"Down!!!"
[ - pass some time - ]
Then a whole bunch of stuff happened and Ashe's writer didn't list everything down because of technical difficulties, but there the two were now.
"We're getting out of here NOW, no questions about it. Get up!"
Ashe pulled Circe again, dragging her whether she'd come or not towards her friendly-marked fighter - as she'd been hired to fight on the Republic's side - whilst covering the two in a thick, flaring blue blaze.

Alexandra watched as the shuttle went down. "Corsair fighters are shooting down Republic shuttles, corsair fighters are shooting down Republic shuttles. Sith Troops closing in on Archives. Were pinned down and need help." This is just great, Sith Troops around us, allies shooting down allies, did everyone lose their fething mind and start thinking everyone is the enemy. "Someone we need help now before were all cut down and the Archives are lost.

(( I am ignoring Ashe's post because, as she said, it is late and Circe is no longer near her. ))

Hannibal responded much as he should, flying up in the air with enough force that it would surely send him flying into the ceiling. The last time he and Circe had dueled in such a way, Hannibal had been completely unarmed and armored. Now he had an assortment of guns and a bunch of gadgets. The game was different. Hannibal's jetpack fired up as he flew through the air, stabilizing him mid-air before he could impact the cavernous ceiling of the archives.

The Fondorian had to take a few moments to re-gain his bearings. When he did, he whipped out his sidearm, a Czerka machine pistol with more VENOM slugs loaded inside, and started firing at that very same spot again. He aimed high and low, desperate to gun down his invisible enemy.

Well, obviously this little Forcie didn't know Xalus was one of their kind too. His instant reflexes, coupled with the Force, allowed him to reach up and catch the grenade. Of course, he only had like two seconds, so he tossed it at what appeared to be a fighter. It wouldn't really make it, but that wasn't the point. The point was that the shrapnel would rip through whatever magical doppelganger this particular Forcie had conjured. Whatever it was, there were two of the same person. The explosive rounds that the clone fired at him hurt.

"Die, karking idiot." His rifle snapped into a single hand as he charged forward, attempting to catch all of the bullets with his hand before it clamped around the doppelganger's throat. "You are weak." Steel hands squeezed tight, crushing her windpipe with a cold and calculated maneuver. It was whatever. This chick could probably conjure another one. Once the deed was done, he shouldered the weapon and sent an entire magazine of BANG rounds at @Enigma.
