Tryk Zhot
Character
Tryk Zhot did not normally involve himself in anything resembling 'warfare.'
It was too dangerous, without enough reward.
But today, he was not fighting a war. He was collecting simple bounties.
The Lothal defenders had hastily reached out to the Bounty Hunter's Guild to collect more skilled starfighter pilots for their defense forces. They were paying 5,000 credits for each enemy fighter taken out. The money was in the hands of a Guild trustee, who would pay out for verified sensor records of destroyed ships. This was necessary, as the Lothal government might not survive to make payment after this engagement. In fact, Tryk was sure Lothal would be Imperial property within one standard day.
No matter. Tryk could leave whenever he wanted, and get paid for the work he'd done.
That was safer.
That was good money.
His ship, the Nackhawn, was what some people called an 'Ugly.' But it wasn't cobbled together by the usual harried mechanics who were grasping salvaged parts and figuring out how to knock them together for hasty 'good enough' results.
No. Tryk had built this ship himself. And Jawas were no ordinary improvised riggers.
Jawas were inspired riggers. And when they were rigging for their own purposes, they could be masterful.
The Nackhawn was named for one of the galaxy's ugliest birds.
But she could Fly.
He trailed the 'ugly' squadron of ragtag Lothalian pilots with his own ship, embedding himself at the back of the formation.
But the Nackhawn was very different from the others here.
Someone was going to get a nasty surprise...
