The royal party

Imahalyan
Stardust main home
Sometime before noon

Stardust looked into the mirror, she coudlnt smile at all for some reason. No matter how much she tried or what she thought of no hint of a smile could even be seen on her face, [member="Avin Starfire"] should be arriving soon to escort her to the town where the main party would be held. She didn't wanna do this....it felt wrong it felt liking cheating but she knew her duty as queen to her people and she would not fail them...

In the city the final preparations for the party was being sat up, people moved to and fro setting tables up merchants bringing out their best items to sell, food was being brought out and say different meats, veggies, soups, stews, and so much more along side different goes of drinks and such.

The port was set up so there was more security then usual so everyone got in safe and no one was harmed, last thing the council wanted was the potential new kings to be harmed, on top of that a different place had been set up so those that were interested had a private place to land and check in before heading to the party

And so...stardust walked to the living room of her home and now waited for avin...

Sometime before noon

The Black Talon touched down gracefully upon a well-maintained landing pad. Private, of course. Revamp didn't need any undue attention that his sometimes notorious vessel brought along with him wherever he went. The King of Trandosha was here on unique matters. Delicate matters. If he played his cards right, powerful allies could be made here. Although the lizard wasn't too fond on dressing up and actually acting like nobility, here he was. It was for the betterment of his people and Trandosha itself that he was doing this.

So in a way, it was worth it.

Vinskk adjusted the crimson red cape draped around his neck. The white tunic and pants he was wearing contrasted with it nicely. He had to say, compared to his usual Wookiee pelt hunting outfits and leather jumpsuits, he looked rather dashing today. A golden necklace completed the image, with a blood-red ruby adorning the center of the locket. It looked frightfully expensive, and it was. In wearing this, Revamp was not so subtly displaying the wealth of his people and planet. A little too flashy for the simple slaver's taste, but it would do.

The King looked to the captain of the vessel, a trusted comrade and friend by the name of Free-Eyes. The Gran blinked with approval.

"Rather fancy, if I may say so, my Lord."

Vinskk clicked lowly with displeasure. He wasn't one to play dress-up.

"Let's get this over with. Lower the ramp. Stay with the Talon."

The ramp hissed and lowered. First two Trandoshan Royal Guards exited, and then the King followed. The Guards were heavily armored and were almost as big as the King himself. Almost. Vinskk struck quite an imposing image as he strode forward, on to the city, where the party was to be held, his Guards fast behind his scaly heels.

The feel of new and expensive clothes was an unusual one for him, after all, Avin usually dressed to draw the least of attention not in flamboyant colors. His wear for tonight consisted of well pressed red mess dress trouser accompanied by a slim fitting black jacket and dress shoes, held together with a white belt. It had been about three years since he last adorned the naval uniform and he never thought he would again but alas it was the only acceptable piece of clothing left on his ship. He sighed before clambering in and firing up the speeder to collect [member="Stardust Raxis"].

The journey meandered along the emerald green hillsides. The warm breeze hit him as Avin made his way up to the Raxis household and he started to speak aloud saying various phrases in an attempt to clear his head and also raise the register and tone of his vocal lexis.

Avin knocked the door three times in succession before removing his cap to under his arm and stepping back his posture sharpening and fitting his sword to the taper of his leg.

"Let's just get over this" Avin muttered to himself as he awaited the Queen's arrival.

Kurayami had never been one who was overly interested in positions of authority or lording power over others, however this was a party of sorts and he knew there would be good drinks to be had in the company of nobility. He felt strange leaving his fighters behind. While he had built the A-12 for purposes such as this, he would always be a fighter pilot at his core. This was easily seen in the way he presented himself. Today saw him dressed simply showing his Corellian heritage clearly. A weathered flight jacket, utility slacks displaying first class blood stripes, old combat boots, though polished to a nice sheen considering their age. His dark eyes seemed to be staring past where he was looking, as if he were constantly lost in memories or thought. His standard utility belt was around his waist, a single A180 blaster pistol at his left hip. In the pouch above that was a single saber hilt. He sighed as he guided the ship in for a landing.

As the ramp lowered he removed his helmet and placed it in the pilot's seat. Once the ramp was in place he made his way slowly down, though his gait was slow it was clear that he was relaxed. He had been gone from the galactic eye for sometime, staying back from anything to do with factions and simply running Nubia Stardrives in the interim. He had a few ideas for expanding the product line, but that would all come later, for now the focus was just getting his bearings again, getting used to being around what he could only assume would be a diverse group of people again. It would be nice, and the fact that he could walk out with new contacts was always a plus in his mind. The faint hint of a smile could be seen as he strolled towards where the event was to take place.

Alcohol.

That was the word that lingered on Hemmrie's mind, the word that triggered his thoughts to those of the overindulgence of beverages that would break his long, 3 week sobriety.

The party was held on the planet he hadn't long landed on, the pilot letting him know of the royal celebrations taking place. It was an invite only party, and guests from all over the galaxy were coming. What the celebration was for, the bum had no idea. But that was the least of his troubles.

As he stood over the now unconscious body of the Count Aballester Grassnisus IV, a prestigious sounding man who had a lot to do with some planet nearby, Hemmrie dropped the large block of plasteel he held in his hands and began to undress the body.

His plan was brilliant:

An old friend of the Space Hitchhiker's happened to be in the city. He told him that a guest was staying in a nearby, shiny, rich looking building. All Hemmrie had to do was go in, steal his invite, then get into the party and drink until he was happy.

The Count caught him, and Hemmrie did the only sensible thing any rational man would have done in his situation.

Now wearing the Count's clothes, and still looking as unkempt as ever with his wild long, grey hair, bandana around his head, and a few buttons done up wrong, the satisfied Intergalactic Space hobo quickly left the quarters of the sleeping, near naked Count, and made his way for the Royal Party, invitation in hand.

Hemmrie deserved nice things every once in a while. He worked hard for them.

Imahalyan

Sometime before Noon

The Final Offer was making ts final approach towards the planet, as Lanoitan Draugria was in his quarters getting dressed in his old Imperial Uniform. He did think about bringing some troop with him, just in case; Someone could try to kill him on the spot at this palace. He decided against it, so then he does not ruin his impression with the people below. His invitation was by his bed, being handed to him by a courier from Imahalyan at least two days ago, during a scouting exhibition of Korriban for any Sith artifacts that could have survived the wear and tearing conditions of the planet. He decided to go, so then he could be antiquated with their queen, [member="Stardust Raxis"]

As he finished getting on his grey, Imperial Navy uniform, with all of his ranks and ribbons placed on his left and right, he looked towards his lightsabers. Should he bring them? Or can he live without them for one party? He thought about this for a good minute, before deciding the best option was to leave them behind. He left his quarters, calling two officers to come with him, Captain Johnson, and 2nd Lieutenant Lenard. Lanoitan wanted these three to come with him so then he didn't have to worry about carrying a blaster, believing that Officers would be better for protection at this party then Stormtroopers. The three made their way to the hanger bay, as their shuttle was ready for take off, and with in a few minutes, the Lambda-class t-41 shuttle was lifting off from the hanger bay, and began its decent towards the planet.

Stardust stood as she nodded and opened the door, a small smile her face despite the day being supposedly joyous, she bowed her head as she offered herself a silent prayer and apology to gray for what she was about to do

She stepped forward out of her house closing the door, the dress she wore matched her skin color and the of the planet colors almost perfectly, she looked to avin as she sighed and nodded

let us head to the party

She said as she got inside the speeder without any other word as she checked a few things on a holopad and nodded to herself as she sent a message to the council saying she was on her way

Meanwhile at the party the food was already being served along with the drinks people gathered dressed up nice as one table sat for friends and royalty to sit with stars seat at the head of the table

The party would soon begin

"I a-apologize for the misunderstanding, Your Highness. Your seat is right this way."

Vinskk gave the young human in front of him a wearied glance of contempt. The guards at the party, it seemed, had mistaken the Trandoshan to be a bodyguard for one of the other guests. Whether that came from his stature, the way he carried himself, or the species he was, he didn't know, nor did he care. Humans were quick to judge.

"Bah! I don't need a whelp to lead me. I can find my own seat."

What was intended to brush aside the guard nearly knocked him over as Vinskk walked by. The two Royal Guards behind him snickered and followed their leader, one of them muttering lowly how humans tasted like gizka. Meanwhile, the food and drinks were just starting to be served and guests started arriving, dressed in the finest clothes that befit their statuses. The main table was where he was going, reserved for friends and royalty of different systems. It looked empty, for now at least. Revamp was early, as was customary of his people. "The early hunter gets the kill," a Trandoshan proverb went. It didn't look as if seats were specifically reserved, minus the Queen's at the head of the table. Vinskk took a seat near the head, not too close, but still easily within speaking range. His Royal Guards stood behind him, doing what they were best at, which was scanning the area for possible threats. A server soon rushed over and bowed deeply before setting a drink and a plate of food before him. The Trandoshan stared at was before him. Not exactly his species' preferred meals and beverages, but it would do. The Trandoshan ate and drank, using silverware instead of his hands and small, controlled sips instead of using his tongue to scoop up the liquid. It would be good of him to strike a positive first impression.

After all, he doubted anyone expected a civilized Trandoshan to attend the party.

Lanoitan's shuttle arrived at the town, landing in a sort of parking lot for shuttles. He stepped out with his to officers, and makes his way to the entrance, where the party already began. A human attempted to lead him to his seat, but he politely denied.

"No thank you, Sir. I'll be quite capable of finding my seat."

He and his officers moved past the human butler, and sat at a table near the front. He awaited the arrival of Queen [member="Stardust Raxis"], wanting to see her again after their issue with the Abomination shuttle that they first met at. He and the officers talked there until she came out or to chat with who else showed up as the table they were seated at.

He moved around and climbed into the speeder. Stardust sat solemnly staring down at a datapad so Avin decided to avoid conversation to start with. He pushed the throttle forward urging the speeders descent back towards the main city.

It was maybe twenty minutes before the royal speeder reared up at the entrance of the city hall. Avin moved swiftly out of his seat, fixing his cap to head, before holding open the Queens door and standing upright to attention.

Kurayami took his time, it was clear he was in no rush. There was a part of him that wondered why he had even come now, he was doubting his decision to come here. Time had a funny way of messing with his thoughts. He was in some ways still coming to term with his past, sure the revelations on Korriban took place long ago, but he still couldn't wrap his head around everything, he had tried to ever since that day. He felt as though being here was a betrayal not only to Raylia, but also to the memory of Jenny, even if the engagement had been a short one. It was a wound he feared would never fully heal. He would have to move on though, and he had to a degree but this was an entirely new level. He took a deep breath and sighed as he exhaled, might as well see how this turned out.

As he approached the building he was impressed by what he saw. Not a huge feat given where he normally found himself, either in his personal transport, a hangar, or a cantina. Given this was a party for the queen, so it made sense. As he approached the table it was clear that he was one of only a few arrivals thusfar. he seated himself across from the Trandoshan, not entirely sure if he would be asked to move or not. If so he wouldn't make a fuss, but nothing about him spoke to him so much as owning a company. He had eaten some on the way here, so for now he simply ordered a goldwine, sipping at it as he awaited the arrival of the others.

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

There was a slight scuffle at the front door, but it was nothing that the intergalactic space hobo could talk his way out of.

Hemmrie, posing as a Count from some nearby planet, entered the party somehow still looking scruffy in a pristine uniform decorated with jewels and medals. And somehow being that he still wore his dirty bandana and his long, grey, unkempt hair still tangled and writhed about his head and long beard like a wild, untamed beast.

Hemmrie walked into the party quite joyously, giving sly smiles to the other guests who nodded in greeting to him. One or two even BOWED. This made Hemmrie feel good in the stomach.

Just as Hemmrie arrived at the bar and took someone else's drink, his eyes gazed over the other guests, and when his eyes caught the face of one of the others, he dropped the drink and his eyes went wide.

The Transocean King, Fisk. [member="Vinskk Revamp"]

He was invited too. Oh good gosh, he was invited too.
Hemmrie took a few steps back and returned to the bar, took someone else's drink, and walked to the other side of the party, away from where the Transocean king was. He didn't want to die.

He hasn't even had his first drink yet.

Stardust had put the pad down halfway, she was not herself at all. The usual cheery, awesome positive twilek was now simply sulking and sad looking

She watched as they pulled up to the spot in which she would enter, she took a breath in and put her best mask on smiling a fake smile as she walked out her council setting waiting for her along with a few people as the holocameras took pictures of her and her dress

30d56b8930995bfb67c1360323410b6b.jpg

She smiled looking at each one before she started walking, a council member came up and spoke quietly

your highness, im glad you have made it on time, some of the more important guest have arrived and are setting at the table....i shall get the men to announce your arrival

The doors to the city hall opened up, and a man dressed up came and walked out getting the attention of everyone attending before speaking

may I present to you, her majesty queen stardust dragon of imahalyan

The man stepped back as she walked out a smile on her face as she descended the steps waving at the people looking at the crowd then stopped as she got to the last one and cleared her voice the applause that had started soon stopped as she spoke

welcome to the first ever royal party of imahalyan, please enjoy the drinks and food, come and talk to.me if you wish for some know why your here...and some of you may of heard about it and came here...in any case let the party begin

The crowd clapped and the live music started as she moved to the table a few people already getting some plates sat up for her, she looked to avin and nodded to a close seat

Cameron walked silently towards the location of this 'party' he had curiously received an invitation to attend on Imahalyan. The specifics had been rather vague. On the surface, it seemed as though he, and undoubtedly others, had been invited to the planet to celebrate some aspect of the Queen's existence. If the Sith Lord had bothered to inquire further, he may have ascertained the true purpose for the soiree.

At the very least, Cameron had dressed for a semi-formal event in a dark blue suite over a lighter blue shirt. As had become an increasingly common occurrence, the Sith Lord had traveled to Imahalyan unarmed. Arriving near the event's entrance, the large, dark-skinned Corstris native paused only long enough to show his invitation.

"The event has already begun, Lord Centurion. The Queen has already been introduced."

Cameron's face was a mask of disinterest. "I suppose I'll just have to imagine the grand introduction." Without another word said, the Sith Lord stepped past the man near the door and entered the sprawling facility. It was only seconds before Cameron entered the grand dinner hall where the soft murmurs of conversation had already begun. Rather immediately, Cameron identified [member="Stardust Raxis"] at the head of a well-appointed table.

Briefly adjusting the jacket of his suit, Cameron initiated a measured, confident stride towards the woman. As he approached Stardust, he could plainly see that literally every invited guest was male. More specifically, they all seemed to be dressed or accompanied in a manner that suggested wealth, influence, perhaps even power. The Sith Lord would reserve judgment on the last point, knowing that political or societal superiority was often little more than the facade of power. Cameron had little use for illusion.

Ignoring those immediately around Stardust, Cameron approached the Twi'lek's seat. Before she could have hoped to really react or extract herself from whatever conversation she was in, the Sith Lord approached the Queen from behind, placing his arms to either side of her body and resting them on the table at which she sat such that his powerful limbs lightly touched the sides of her own body. Leaning in close enough for his head to linger just beside her left ear, Cameron whispered a series of words. When he was done, he retracted slowly, allowing his lip to briefly graze the soft skin of her ear.

He waited not for any immediate reaction as he'd asked no questions, merely made statements. A simple observation of truth. Her answer would come in the form of her reaction...whatever that may be.

He'd applaud with the rest of the crowd, a smile on his face as he saw her make her introduction and sits over a good few tables away from her. He ordered some wine from a passing butler, and just took the whole bottle. He planned on getting drunk tonight, since he wasn't gonna be taken lightly in the imperial uniform, knowing that the Empire still wasn't like, no matter how long its been since the Galactic Empire fell. When he got the wine bottle, he already drank from it, soon rising and began to make his way to the table that [member="Stardust Raxis"] was seated at, wanting to catch up a bit since the Abomination incident.

Kurayami applauded at the introduction given by Stardust. The titles she was introduced under brought a nod from the man, one of deference, though he personally didn't care for such things. It was interesting to see just how people would react to their Queen. The fact that the others invited were all male was not lost on him, but it did bring a slight smirk to his face. A reversal of sorts from where a Twi'lek might usually find herself. The entrance of the Sith was one that seemed to be more for show than any other reason. Kurayami shrugged and finished off his first glass of goldwine, having another brought to him soon after.

Her words about talking to her as some knew why they were here almost made him laugh. He knew why he had been invited, but in the same vein he was still deciding when and how he should approach her. This was one time where there were no second chances. He wasn't unused to such situations, as such he relaxed and watched the proceedings quietly for the time being.

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

"Whoooooo! Party! Drinks all around!"

Hemmrie called all the unwanted attention to himself as he sipped his strong wine by the bar, overlooking the long table that most of the guests were seated at already. She was beautiful; most Twi-Lek women were, but this one in particular, he appreciated. Though he was too old for her, of course, but the hobo was still allowed to admire, wasn't he?

Hemmrie moved to the table and took a seat, any seat, though it was most likely taken by another. A servant came behind him and touched his arm just as he was seating himself.
"Count Aballester, your seat is over here, sir," the servant said, motioning to a seat further down the table. Hemmrie nodded and grinned and followed the servant, who pulled out a chair to seat him.

As Hemmrie sat down slowly, he realized the error in his motion; for he was now sitting opposite of [member="Vinskk Revamp"] .

He said nothing, and instead pulled his hair down over his face to hide any sort of attention from the guest he sat across from.

This was the opportunity of a life time, should the night turn out well Bartic would make the biggest jump in stature from birth, he had already come so far, on the blood, sweat, and tears of him and many others, tonight presented the chance for the son of two spacers to become a king. In order to do so he would have to dress to impress, most would attempt to show off their massive wealth, Bartic was not a man of massive wealth, while being the Director of the Dominion's Security Bureau payed nicely it would be but a drop in the bucket to a queen's wealth. So he choose rather to show off his position in life, he wore a suit moddled after the DSB's own dress uniform, a clean white top decorated only by his rank and the metal declaring him one of the "Heroes of Atrisia", the pants were plain pitch black, along with the shoes, the only accessories he wore was a white cape to match the uniform, a pair of black leather gloves, and a beskad that he had taken off of a Mandalorian he killed on Atrisia in case he needed to defend himself if he had encountered a Jedi. It was a twist of ironic fate that when he originally took his sword he did not need it, but now that he was wearing it for show it may be the first time it drew blood for him, many of his expected rivals were force users and out of those whom were present he and a slaver were the only ones who did not rely on it.

The beginning of the party consisted of a small speech by the queen herself [member="Stardust Raxis"] inviting those who were present to enjoy the hospitality offered and made it quite clear to those who already knew why this party was taking place to begin with. Bartic would not take her up on the offer she left open immediately, rather he would take the time to study the others and use some of the skills he had long since let go dull.

Stardust watches The many people her eyes calculating like a dragons...though hid a secret pain. Suddenly she felt someone behind her and almost turned to attack but stop as she listned to the man, her eyes looked back as she heard his whispered comments as she but her lip slightly and shivered as his lips brush past her ear

She looked back seeing him walking away, her mind was now curious but catious....his force signature was dark...very dark...but the words he spoke were what she wanted to hear and what she wanted....but her mind had a warning telling her to be careful but she had to know...shed give it a few see how it played...hiwever she brought a messenger over and gave him a message to give to [member="Cameron Centurion"], it read

<your entrance was quite...daring...brave...stupid...but you have my interest least for the moment, I will take a break soon to get freshened up again and return...only with a detour...meet me by the fountain near the clothes shop....i wish to speak with you...oh and you can't hide the sith well eh?>

She gave a crack of a smile honestly amused as she looked forward to the people...a trando that was eating proper? And one she though she knew....a man who looked a mix of dirty and fancy (she would have to get security) further off she saw a man in a fancy uniform all white and such that didn't radiated wealth but power and strength, next she saw lanoitan as she called for a server to start limiting his drinks courtesy of the queen, next was another man who she felt a mix of the force from but only nodded to herself...seeked the lone up was...quite interesting...she turned to [member="Avin Starfire"] and spoke

The man with the messy hair something isn't right...have security come over and you personally make sure he is who he is...full of check if he's any trouble throw him out

She said and nodded as she looked forward and cleared her throat to those that could hear

I am honored that you people have showed up on this day, though less then I thought I'm none the less happy to have you here...pleaae please introduce yourselves for I know not your names or titles

"I am Lanoitan Draugria, Ex-Admiral of the Galactic Imperial Navy, Commander in Chief of the Galactic Imperial Regulators, Commanding Officer of the Carrack/I-class Light Cruiser Named the Final Offer, and of the Lambda-class T4-a shuttle Named the Abomination, Your Majesty."

Lanoitan rose to introduce himself first, so then [member="Stardust Raxis"] knew he was here. He already knew the Queen from a recovery mission for an old Lambda shuttle named the Abomination, which he ended up receiving in the end, but not without chatting with and hitting it off with Stardust. He was wanting to be King of this world not just for the title, or the credits, or the fame, but to actually be happy for once, without having to worry about her running off with a fighter and never coming back again.
