-Death Watch troopers break down Force Sensetive Mandalorian's door

CHRONICLE INFORMATION
The Seven Day War was an incredibly short, incredibly violent Civil War among the Mandalorians and occurred several years after the Cataclysm that forced a mass Mandalorian emigration. As the Mandalorians began to return to their ancestral home two Mandalorians stood up, both having expressed some willingness to lead. The resulting conflict would only last a few days, however would fundamentally change both how Mandalorians were seen in the Galaxy and how Mandalorians would view themselves.

Return of Mia Monroe
“Do you want to know why Manda’yaim burned? Because we needed to break. Because in order for us to move forward as a tribe, we needed a clean slate and nothing cleans quite as effectively as fire does. Hate me for it if you must. More than a few of you will try and kill me for it, and I accept that, but know this. Every time you do kill me I will return.”
-Mia Monroe

Long thought of as one of the main participants of what would later become known simply as the Cataclysm, Mia Monroe was one of the most influential Mandalorians in recent years, having held the title of Mand’alor herself and was an incredibly powerful Force User. Upon her return to the planet of Mandalore she outed herself as one of the ones responsible for Mandalore’s destruction was done out of a necessity for fierce change within Mandalorian leadership and the status quo. What these ideals were however weren’t quite clear as many Mandalorians didn’t give her a chance to fully explain herself. When she called for Mandalorians to join her in reconstruction, many turned their backs on the one they once called Mand’alor the Liberator.

Resurrection and Return of Ra Viszla
“Death was not the end, Mand'alor. It was the pathway to something greater."
-Darth Carnifex to Ra Viszla

Elsewhere in the galaxy on the planet Castameer, the powerful Sith Lord Darth Carnifex had recovered the body of once Mand’alor Ra Viszla. Ra Viszla had led the Mandalorians for a short period and was one of the fiercest warriors the people had seen since before the Gulag Plague. The massive Gurlanin had renched the title of Mand’alor from both Vilaz Munin and Isley Verd, both of which had claimed the title for themselves and led separate portions of the scattered Mandalorian Diaspora. During the final battle of the Omega War however, Ra was lost.
The Sith Lord Darth Carnifex had long held aspirations of a Mandalorian Sith alliance, though alliance would have been putting it lightly. With an entire people of fierce warriors on his side, many historians believe that his true intentions were to utilize them as an extension of the Sith Empire, allowing them to conquer vast swaths of space without heavy losses to the Sith. This dream became a potential reality when the Sith Lord brought Ra Viszla’s soul back from the Manda, the Mandalorian Oversoul, and reunited it with his body, secretly putting the Mandalorian warrior under his subtle control. Ra returned to Mandalore with little fanfare, however the ripples of his arrival were felt throughout what used to be Mandalorian Space. Mandalorians from all over the galaxy flocked to the man that had brought them so much glory. Ra returned to Mandalore, a secret puppet to the Dark Lord of the Sith and would put in motion one of the shortest and bloodiest wars in recent Mandalorian Memory. Even after his disappearance however after the events of the Civil War, it is still hotly debated how Ra returned after so long. His resurrection was a tightly kept secret between the Mand'alor Yasha Mantis and her inner circle.

Two Monsters
It wasn’t long after Ra arrived that he claimed the title of Mand’alor for himself and began consolidating his power in the domed city of Sundari. During the Cataclysm, many of Mandalore’s domed cities survived with little actual damage when compared to the vast majority of cities and settlements on the planet. Its location, military significance, and access to several roads made Sundari the perfect place to rule a shattered Mandalore. One of the first things he did was declare the Force a sickness to the Mandalorian people. While the Mandalorians had been no friends to either the Jedi or the Sith, the events of Akala’s invasion of the Galaxy had left many previously non-Force Sensitive beings with the ability to use the Force. Some Force users felt stronger, and there was a sharp rise in the birth rate of Force Sensetives. For the Mandalorians, a people with historically low Force Sensetivity within their ranks but thrust into this new age of Force Sensetive Mandalorians were now in an awkward position. With their Mand’alor calling the Force a Sickness, blaming it explicitly for the state of the Mandalorian people, many began to agree. Tension between Force Sensetive and Non-Force Sensetive Mandalorians rose, driving some to violence, misconstruing Ra’s biotry and rhetoric to mean that Force Sensetives could never be Mandalorian, and to call oneself Mandalorian while having the Force was punishable by death. While these words were never uttered by Ra Viszla, he also did nothing to curb the enthusiasm of his subordinantes. He reinstated Death Watch, taking the name as his official faction title.

Forced to choose between being locked away or torn from their families many Mandalorians fled to Keldabe, where Mia Monroe was slowly beginning to gather support, mostly from Mandalorians that served under her loyaly or that she served under. While a great many Mandalorians wanted to see Mia Monroe hung for what she had done, she was much more lenient when it came to the Force, her being a Force User herself. It wasn’t long before executions began in Sundari, though whether or not these were sanctioned was anyone’s guess. With a flood of support be it because they believed Mia would be a good ruler or they just didn’t want Ra’s Mandalore to become reality, Monroe finally held a Force that could challenge Ra Viszla. What she lacked now was the weapons and ships to take on a full military campaign which Ra already had. At a disadvantage she turned to MandalMotors CEO Gilamar Skirata who was working on a new type of Bes’uliik in Keldabe. With both factions vying for power it wasn’t long until the Civil War began.

First Strike
Ra Viszla had declared Martial Law and disbanded the Alor Council. While Sundari was fully under Death Watch control, both Krostport and Keldabe held strong support for Mia Monroe and her rebels. Both cities were assaulted with Ra’s target in Keldabe being MandalMotors Tower. Having heard of potential new weapons falling into the hands of Monroe and her Mandalorians, he brought with him a sizeable force to the slightly flooded city. The battle would go on for almost two days, ending with the crumbling of MandalMotors Tower. Monroe and her allies barely escaped but Ra’s Death Watch were able to retrieve the bes’uliik prototype and its schematic data. A supporter of Ra’s Death Watch from House Skirata also kidnapped one of the head engineers and the CFO of MandalMotors, Zeke Farthen and forced him to aid in the construction of the new model of bes’uliik.

In Krostport, the city had been nearly covered in snow. Frequent earthquakes after the Cataclysm had shook buildings to rubble and caused several avalanches in the city and destabilized the many beskar mines the city was known for. It was here that the horrors of Ra’s indoctrination truly showed itself. While Mandalorian children are taught from an early age to be warriors, they still held relatively simple lives. Never were they forced or asked to participate in battles and were protected often like any other child would be in war time. However, when Ra’s Death Watch assaulted the city under the command of Preliat Mantis and Vilaz Munin, they did so with several children, namely Yasha Mantis and Kaden Farr along with several other orphans in tow. Caught off guard by the use of children in warfare, Clan Tetsuya of House Skirata, who had been to that point leading in the defense of the city, were slowly pushed back, with several of their artillery positions destroyed by Yasha and Kaden, which allowed a steady push to the Krostport Starport. While Vilaz moved with death squads, slaughtering children and the Mandalorians protecting them in the tunnels that led to old Ori’ramikad strongholds, Preliat Mantis lead the ground troops and would kill Jasper Ordo, a powerful Force using Mandalorian and one of Mia Monroe’s generals. The loss would be a devastating one both to moral, as Jaster had been a strong pillar in the Mandalorian community for several years before then. Despite the loss of Jaster however, Clan Tetsuya and the various local Mandalorian Clans used their knowledge of the city and the climate against the Death Watch and pushed them back succesfully.

Counter Strike
Mourning for their overwhelming loss would happen in Mia’s camps that night, but the morning brought new purpose. A desperate attack on Sundari would follow the losses at Krostport and Keldabe. Skrimishes across Mandalorian settlements would also continue, but the vast majority of Mia Monroe’s forces would converge at Sundari. One of the few White Deserts left on Mandalore, the area around the domed city was incredibly hot. Battles in the dunes would see Mandalorians forced to beat each other to death due to the sand clogging blasters. In the air, Death Watch had modified and produced the prototype Bes’uliik, and launched them. Faster and nimbler than Bes’uiik of old, the swarms of them caught Monroe’s starfighter pilots and bes’uliik riders off guard. The Civil War had also brought less than wanted help from several people that had long been hated by Mandalorians far and wide. They mixed into the battle, nearly setting the palace ablaze in nuclear fire. Luckily the nuke used by RC 212 and his fireteam seemed to be offbrand or fake, causing only a few small explosions. The distraction however gave Monroe’s Mandalorians time to move in Small victories across the White Dunes would allow Monroe’s Mandalorians to breach the dome and take the starport. Breach of the starport and the ingury of one of Ra’s generals, Strider Garon, allowed several unsavory types to infiltrate the Throne room. The assassins attack Ra at once, three of them. Though they wounded the man, he fought them off successfully. With the dome damaged however, both sides were forced to retreat as the dangerous heat and radiation storms that necessitated the dome over Sundari threatened to destroy them all. With retreats on both sides called, Monroe and her Mandalorian retreated
to Krostport.

The Last Mandalorian
"Kill them."
Vilaz said calmly and passionately as the landing pad opened itself to the violence and chaos below them.
"Kill them all for Mandalore."

-Vilaz Munin to his troops

The third day of the war. With thousands lost on both sides, soldiers were getting weary. Hundreds of Monroe’s forces had deserted fearing for the lies of their families or their own livelihood. Krostport had been partially evacuated when reports came that Ra’s Death Watch were coming for Krostport. This would be the largest battle seen of the war as Ra brought the entirety of his forces to bear. Once again children were found within the ranks of Death Watch. But the battle would be short lived. A combination of desertions and superior battle tactics left Monroe vulnerable. Captured by Ra Viszla and the Death Watch, Mia Monroe was executed and hung in the streets, a warning to anyone who would still oppose him and his Death Watch. Small firefights still occurred throughout the city and more children and “civilians” were murdered at the hands of Death Watch, all treated as traitors and part of Monroe’s rebellion simply for being in the city.

As the battle raged, Gilamar Skirata, one of Monroe’s generals deserted the battlefield along with some number of Mandalorians, fleeing the battlefield for Kyrimorut. leaving Monroe’s forces lacking. As House Skirata members loyal to Gilamar escorted thousands of Mandalorians in Kyrimorut onto large battleships and cargo haulers to escape Gilamar himself was in orbit aboard MandalMotors’ shipyards. In an attempt to scuttle the shipyard, Gilamar was stopped by Death Watch loyal House Skirata Mandalorians, among them his cousin Dorn Skirata. Before he could retaliate, one of the Mandalorians hit him with a stun blaster, knocking him out for capture under the authority of Dorn who know claimed ownership over House Skirata. In a twisted turn of events Dorn killed the two Mandalorians that had helped him secure the old man and secretly faked Gilamar’s death, setting explosives to destroy the office and large portions of the station. Gilamar was then secretly put into a Supermax Prison operated by his own mercenary company and left to rot while Dorn took control of House Skirata and spread lies of Gilamar’s death.
With all of Monroe’s generals dead or fleeing and Monroe herself dead, the war was officially over but would continue for several days as skirmishes dotted across the planet.

The Purge
Naga said:
"Begin," Ra said. And so it did. Doors were tore down. Women screamed. Men fought back throughout the cities. Children wept on the streets. "Mother!" they all cried. "Father!" they roared in unison. In Cold Iron, red sashes of "We are loyal to Ra!" were adorned outside the homesteads. In battered Keldabe, fights broke out in the streets, accusations being thrown. "He did it, I know it! I saw him!" Doors were torn. Houses were turned over. Militia men roared "By executive order of Mand'alor!" and families were pushed aside. One particular officer pointed to a child. Two other militia men, adorning the red and white colors of the Empire, tore the babe and carried him out of the house and disappeared into the street. The Mother screamed. The Father cried, "Why?!" The officer pointed to the list in his hand, and shrugged, bringing out his taser. "It is our duty as Mandalorians to purify ourselves of the Creeping Death. Your son will be back, cured of his ailment."

“The Purge”, as it would become known, saw the true beginning of Ra’s regime. Parades and celebrations were held across Mandalore in honor of his victory over the evil Mia Monroe and her Mandalorian Rebels. Thousands mourned for their loved ones, thousands more screamed in protest as Death Watch agents ripped children from their homes and beat family into submission. Recently constructed and in the image of ancient Sith pyramids, the TSACs were massive buildings built for one purpose: To hold force users until they were forced to undergo “The Cure”, an invasive procedure in which a Pazhkic'Dau was inserted into the victim. The parasyte which lived off of midichlorians removed the ability to use the Force. Filled to the brim with Force nullifying Ysalimir and with deep tunnels underground for “dangerous” Force users, the inside past the clinically white waiting rooms and doors was often a living hellscape. With the prejudices still heavy in the heart of your average Death Watch loyalist, violence against those held was common and those held in solitary were allowed barely enough food to stay alive. The Purge would continue for several years after the end of the Civil War, even into the early days of Yasha Mantis’ own rule as Mand’alor going so far as to place one on Dathomir when the Mandalorians returned to the planet to subjugate it as the Mandalorian Empire.

Alright, this sub has been moved upon request. Looks like I'll review this myself.

There's a lot of material to cover here, so it'll take me a while to comb through each link provided to check for accuracy.

Thank you for your patience.

Everything looks to check out, an unbiased reporting of the latest Mandalorian Civil War.

I just need a couple things at this time. For any specific characters referenced in this chronicle, can you please link to their character bio?

Also, for the participants field, could you specify the blocs/factions fighting each other during the conflict?
