Haytham was certainly not what he had expected in the man who had mentally and physically abused [member="Joza Perl"] - but he was also everything he expected. A coward and a volatile man.
Breathing hard under his armour, Connor looked at this older Sith and back out to the horizon at his words. He knew very well what he was hinting at, and he didn't like it.
The barrier dropped. Connor fixed his lightsaber to his gold belt and turned, walking up slowly beside the Sith in a strange truce. The horizon captivated them, and on cue, the bombardment echoed over where they stood.
It was a nightmare. It was a disaster. Reaching up, the Jedi pulled the clips off his cracked helmet and pulled it up and off. He gasped at the fresh air, the dry blood on his brow, a bruised cheek and the aggravated scar under his left eye. But that didn't phase him. Instead he started out at the Silver bombardment taking place. The horizon lit up with the cracks of explosives from above and the pained fear rippling out through the Force at the souls in the city. What were they thinking? What were they doing?
The Jedi were the guardians of peace, and justice. Not butchers. Not murderers.
”I will find who did this. This would not have been on a Silver Jedi order,” Connor said softly.
The call came through on the helmet in his hands from the Grandmaster [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] - the call for the Silver Jedi to pull out of the system. The battle was over, and they had lost more than they could ever could have imagined in the space of minutes, all in the hands of their own. What the Sith did now, he couldn't say, but right now it felt like all he could do was leave and seek the ones who had jeopardized the entire future of the Silver Jedi Order.
