The Status of Roleplay and the Factory System

This is how I view the factory. It is a tool. A tool that gives people like me chance to share their imagination and stories with the community. It does give a pretty good boundary that is a foundation in the community as a whole can use a guide. In the past we did not have this tool. It had created a great number of issues. I to have in the past fallen prey to doing something a little over the top or having one of my ideas abused by other wishing to win rather then tell a good story.

I like the factory here and I think it has been handled well. This has already been said though. If you have a problem talk with the person you are writing with first. If you can’t work something out there is always the report button. I trust the fact the staff wishes to know if something is being abused or even help if they can.

Thinking about the factory (random thought). I’ve only used it twice. Once to make a plan lightsaber and the other time to make a description of Togashi Yokuni’s home. I should use the factory more often.

Are you allowed to make submissions you may personally never use? Like an expanded planet history, or some random product.

Yeah that's when it can get fun too. Always wanted to do a collection of random collectibles for people to try and get :D

Feel free to steal this idea anyone! As it could be quite fun if done right.

[member="Barrien Siegfried"] - So, I've already given you props for taking a Factory discussion and trying to turn a moral from it. ...But... I should probably now attempt to warn you of something else.

If you make an OOC thread on this website. You must do so under the assumption that it will eventually get hijacked. This just happens. There are no white knights who will ride into your thread, decree to the peasants that the hijacking must stop, and proceed to moderate your thread with great nobility. This does not happen on this website. Instead. We simply ignore the posts and do not comment towards them. This is called: Do not feed the trolls. If... At any time you as the OP comment or GIF towards any post you feel is deviant? You are simply nailing the coffin shut on your own thread. Dead, dead, dead.

This has been a lesson of Hijacking 101. :D :p
