But in truth and seriousness, I'm more peeved at how quick their slicers 'slice'

Wrong. Try again. White current has only ever been used canonically by Fallanassi and Jedi.

They were a bit quick, but to be fair nobody was seemingly trying to counter them.

[member="Kamon Vondiranach"] Fallanassi is another term for followers of White Current, so listing them as practitioners is a bit redundant. However, I've taken the last few (maybe 30) minutes to search through actual text, and not wookieepedia, and there is nothing stating that a Sith can't learn it. A lack of Sith being taught it, in novels, does not a statistical certainty, create.

In other news, I applaud your enthusiasm. Down with the One Sith!

I only mentioned that it isn't a lightside only usable power.

Abeloth was able to use it, in a very darkside way.
Doesn't say Abeloth used the current, just says Abeloth conjured the illusion of phantoms. Even if it was the current, this could be possible as the person Abeloth was inhabiting was a Fallanassi. The White Current has long been considered a lightside ability. This is the first place I've ever seen Sith using it (and to be honest it's because they don't ever want to lose and have to be total badasses even if it means powergaming and using abilities long considered to be Lightside). It's just flat out wrong.

They were one of two groups of individuals in canon to practice it, though. It's not redundant to list them as one of those groups, it's pointing out the fact that in canon only they and Jedi were practitioners of White Current techniques.

Kamon -- you learned the white current from Tahira Solo - who learned it from Je'gan (Darth Shule)

Who was a Sith Master on TGC and a Fallanassi Adept.

Remember?

Hi.

I read the book; matter of fact, I've read every book involving the White Current, cover to cover. Abeloth used the Current. Fallanassi can go bad.

Not a hard book to dig up.

You pretty clearly haven't read the book. Abeloth was a Dark Side entity who absorbed the personality and powers of a Fallanassi and actively used the White Current to create a planet-wide plague that seemed real enough for people to get symptomatic and die.

Seriously, you've been nothing but rude to the people in this thread. Go do some research of your own on the thing you claim to have mastered, and then you'll be taken seriously.

Hey, you. If you're here to be helpful, this...

Hey, nobody asked Illie to come in here and claim I was wrong for disliking them using what I perceive as a lightside ability, but since she has to always defend the OS, she did. Anyways, I'm done with this thread.

No worries, as I just said, done with this thread.

Hi stranger. I'm sure you'll get lots of attention warm welcomes once people see your thread. In fact, I could even name names... :)

Anyway, have fun and there's a growing community of soldier types and a new Chief of Military that has promised lots of tanks and shiny new guns apparently.
