Hey all,
I'm still in the process of getting my bearing around this place as this is my first character here, but I think I'm getting the hang of it now. I have a bit of bio up already, and titles should be on the way.
I'm going for Jedi Padawan for Des here, so it would be great if y'all could point me to the nearest Jedi Temple and a good spot for some RPing, and maybe help me set up with a Master and all that. I would love to get some rp going.
As for Des, he's a Korun and he should be struggling about with his identity as a Jedi versus his upbringing on Haruun Kal, which emphasizes some un-Jedi values like survival of the fittest. Could be fun to explore, so for now I don't yet have a definitive direction planned for him. It's more fun to see where the interactions he has with others and the impressions that others make on him can take him, so we can see where we can take the character together.

For Jedi stuff, you'll want to make your way over The Jedi Order forum, where you'll find the thread for requesting a Master if you'd like to do that.
You may also want to consider joining The Jedi Academy (in addition to the Republic) for more networking and training or thread opportunities.
There are a variety of Jedi Academies and Temples. The main Academy for Republic Jedi is located on Ossus. There is a Jedi Temple on the Republic capital of Onderon as well, I believe.

About this character: Kaia Vullen is a Miraluka Padawan(to be?), but yet without a master. I would like to do a lot of learning and Padawan interaction, create connections and companionships (and perhaps some friendly rivalry?). As a Miraluka, Kaia feels a strong kinship with others and may begin referring to them as family (Miraluka view themselves as one big family). She's a very (if not overly) friendly person with an insatiable curiosity and a taste for adventure.
I'm looking forward to hearing from and RP'ing with you all. Thank you for reading!

Hello good people of the Republic!
I very recently joined this forum. I'm not that familiar with forum roleplaying, coming from a background of more chat-based rp. That being said, I'm a little rusty on forum etiquette, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. This place seems very newbie-friendly, and I can see a lot of openings for me to get started. I look forward to develop this young Jedi and hopefully become a valuable asset to the Republic and the Order!
If any other padawans wanna socialize, train or go on missions, feel free to let me know, I'm most likely down! If any knights/masters feel like throwing in a training session, that'd be great too. While I'm naturally looking for someone to become her master, I'm eager to get started, and down for just about anything.
