Sarla danced with Jenha, her singular blade medting the Jedi’s in a crackle of spins, then Anak arrived and attempted to interrupt, that was not like him. She could feel his ire, it was warm like a hot noodle in broth. She smiled, that was the Anak she knew and loved.

Then like that it was gone. The fife burnt out and he retreated. What had they done to her beloved? Had they gelded him? Was he some slave to a Light Sorceror? Why did he supress his passion? Surly he did not believe the gods in Chaos?

The Dark Lady swept her blade and knocked Jenha off her feet, she then placed her heel on her neck.

“Anak my love, you will so the honors.”

She reached with her free hand, calling Anak by the neck over and bowing him down to her boot and Jenha’s neck.

“Kill her, and I will leave the rest be.”

Zinayn nodded once Anak's anger faded, and he retreated to rethink things. "Very good. Control your-"

The Chiss gasped when he saw Anak get dragged over to the Sith, who now was in a position to kill the other Jedi. Zinayn clenched his hand tighter around the smooth metal of his lightsaber hilt, and leapt forward, slashing downwards to hit the Sith in the shoulder.

"You will not take him from the path of the light!" he declared confidently. Even though Anak was new to the path, and susceptible to changing his mind, Zinayn could sense that the former Sith was dedicated to his new journey. It would take more than this to turn him.

Anak felt himself under her power, ahe pulled him and threw him before Jenha, urging him to cut down The Master. The Jedi Lady held out her hand and nodded, commanding him to do it. But The Jedi Novice could not do it, the loom in Jenha’s eyes broke him.

“Don’t do this Alice..”

He was trying to appeal to her. He then decided to do stir a memorr.

“Remeber Alice! How they came to exterminate you, your people on Fivuine! You are doing the same thing. Don’t be like them! Rise above my love!”

His appeal had such emotion, but anger, rather a tender lovingness. He wanted Sarla to know that he was still hers, even if he now was a Jedi.

Sarla as she tried to manipulate Anak to kill was moved at his plea, he dared pull on that memory of them trying to survive The Siege of Ophidia’s Fortress. She felt her heart soften, she looked at her dearest friend, having tormented him, had she become like Lord Infernal and the beings of Chaos? Was she now making thsi world a living hell? She shed a tear and then felt it as the Gray Jedi moved on her, without a thought she raised Anak right into the point of @Zinyan’s blade.

When she realized what she had done, a horror encapsulated her face. She let go of Jenha and around there in utter shock. She had just used her dearest friend as a shield. She looked as she supended his body between her and Zin’s blade. A wall of Anak’s flesh.

She cried out,

“Noooooooooooo! No!”

Zinayn felt his blade strike flesh, smelled the burning skin and ozone. But he did not celebrate that he had gotten in a blow on the enemy. Because it wasn't the enemy that he had hit. The cadmium blade had slashed into Anak's shoulder.

The Chiss gasped and extinguished his saber. But the damage was done. He had maimed, or possibly even killed Anak, one of his few friends. He took a step back in shock, dropping his lightsaber to the marble floor.

What had he done? Apparently, the Sith felt regret at her action, for she was wailing in denial. But Zinayn did not express his guilt or sorrow. He kept it inside, bottled up like everything else he felt.

Quickly, he snatched up his lightsaber again, igniting it with a snarl. Anger filled his soul and clouded his mind. In a flash of rage he stepped forward, blade held high over his head. He brought it down upon the Sith's head, hoping to split her down the middle.

She would pay for what she had done.

Anak felt himself thrown up to meet the blade that bore through his shoulder, he looked at his friend @Zinyan and decided to smile. He did not want the Chiss to believe he had hard feelings. What Sarla had done was on instinct, and as he fell into her arms, she screaming he saw anger well up in the Gray Jedi.

As Zin bore his blade down on to Alice’s head, the blade cutting into her skin, Anak pressed his hand upward to throw the blade with a command of the Force, the result would knock it from delving too deep. He did not want either of his friends to do things that hurt one another.

Jenha rose up and walked over, ahe placed her hand on Anak’s wound. She had learned the Art of Healing. A great blue light filled the hole, as she called to Life itself to restore what had been maimed. The process was not complete, he would require Becta. She had been wrong about the Jedi Novice, he showed in these moments he had the capacity to be a great Jedi.

“We need to move him to the infirmary at once. Help me Zinyan carry him. You, Sith, come too.”

Sarla as she held Anak in her arms saw a saber blade beat down on her brow, it burned a mark there before it was pushed away by Anak’s command of the Force. She felt her skin burn and then the Master she had almost murdered stepped in and used Jedi Magic to mend him. She had forgotten among the Paladins of Light was healers.

When Jenha took hold of Anak from her hands, she had a hard time letting go. Then she was ordered to follow. In this moment she felt the compulsion to flee, but the Navicomputer was still locked out and she was worriee about Anak. So she followed, holding her hand to her burn mark, it blistered.

Zinayn gasped in shock as he felt his lightsaber lift up and away from the Sith's head. But it wasn't the dark side that was countering the attack. It was Anak. He truly had a bond with this woman, and didn't want her to die, despite all the things she had done to him. The Chiss may never understand the new Jedi's mercy.

His expression turned hopeful when the other Jedi rose and placed a hand on Anak's shoulder, healing him. However, Zinayn knew from experience that wouldn't be enough to fully heal his friend. "To the infirmary, indeed," he said, carrying Anak away (and keeping a watchful eye on the Sith).

The Son of Light felt no pain, he was brought to the Medical Bay. Ironic since Sarla had just been there. It was then they found broken glass and signs of a struggle.

Jenha went to Becta which was damaged, she looked to Sarla with a glare.

“I will have to run it intravenous.”

She took a cord and a needle, with a finger flicked the needle as she made an IV for Anak, who laid on table. His eyes drifted between Sarla and @Zinyan.

“Seems like.. I am always getting injured.. cough.”

He then began to laugh.

“I am Padawan Pain.”

With that he drifted asleep as the Becta began to do its work. Jenha approached Sarla and Zin,

“He will recover. Now, what to do with you Sith? You have killed Masters and Guards. Ordinarly a trial would condemn you to death. But Anak would probably never forgive me if I killed you after he risked so much to protect you. So I will unlock your Navicomputer, and bandish you from this Enclave. If you ever show yourself again, I will not hesitate to slay you.”

Jenha turned to Zin,

“Watch over Anak as I get this Dark Sider off world.”

Jenha escorted Sarla to her ship and on bord she released the Navicomputer encryption. Heading down the ramp, Sarla looked at her before ascending.

“You love him..” said the Jedi Master.

The Dark Lady’s eyes trembled.

“I see his future shrouded in shadow. This is why I objected to his training as a Jedi,” said Jenha.

Sarla sighed,
“He is a Sith at heart, passion is his strength. He saved me through love.”

Jenha turned towards Sarla,

“We Jedi do not forbid love. Without love the galaxy would grow dark. What we forbid is greed, holding on to someone at the expense of what The Force would show them beyond this existence.”

The Dark Lady scoffed,
“All it showed me was a cramped space in torment. I will do everything in my power to cheat death, this life is all there is..”

The Jedi Master smiled,
“Then you prove my point, the Netherworld has shaped your destiny in this life. Maybe yet you will know there is more than flames that await..”

Sarla turned to walk up the ramp, Jenha saying one last statement,

“May The Force Be With You.. Sith.”

It was odd, the person she had tried to kill bidding her fairwell like a friend. Once inside her ship, Sarla primed the engines and set a course to Tatooine, there in the Dune Sea she would see refuge to ruminate on everything that had transpired.

As she punched the coordinates she heard Anak’s voice,

“Alice, keep in touch..”

She smiled as the ship took off and headed off world and then made the jump to Hyperspace.
