While [member="Khaleel Malvern"] is a member in the hutt cartel this is not an attempt to break the cartel. The cartel was broken by its admins and I can only wish for good criminal stories to emerge in this form.

I am really surprised about the turn-out and it makes me very excited. I already made a faction for it here, empty at the moment, but that will change soon.

It's open wide, so feel free to join at your leisure - quick note, the banner is a remnant of an old faction I used to run, that will also change when I got some more time on my hands.

I want to echo Sempra in this one. In no way is this initiative meant to replace or break the Hutt Cartel. The Underworld faction will stay minor, unless story demands for it. I just want to write some good story with some like-minded people, that's all.

Good attitude to have. This is what helps to drive factions to success. My guess is that this does eventually go major, but as long as the leadership practices this kind of attitude, it'll work out great.

Sticking to organisation makes it good, but having lots of different small individuals vying for control is better.
Rather than leadership struggles you have reputation, the better your reputation the better your standing in the underworld. I may start up a Hutt Gangster, he may have an awesome little set up on Tatooine, but if I haven't put the time into building his respect and reputation he isn't going to be a player in the galaxy wide scheme of things.
