The Yovshin's Blade

[Junko Ike]

They were still going through the forest and th third camp was just up ahead, providing a place to stay and rest up before they got to the areas outside of the forest or there was the sections of the valley that were different. Parts went off into the east that was another day or even three of safe travel if you were being careful and followed a fork in the river leading who knew where. There was supposed to be something of another village there and place that the royal had sent their children to so they would be able to have finishing training.

Junko wasn't going into the exploration bit of that just yet, they would have a lot to do there with all of their things while exploring in the forest and she could send out her teams to work and operate as directed. Junko stretched seeing the camp but there was still some time to explore and she motioned them over to the sides when looking at it while she was looking over more of the things. "This is looking fairly interesting for what we want to do, I want to search the area around us to see the ruins or what we can find."

The heralds were looking at her as they confirmed what they could information wise, the group had some areas they could go and search as they were moving through the are providing the jedi princess with security as she walked off to explore the area around the campsite. "There doesn't seem to be as much here." She said it and she could see more of the ruined places in the forest but they dind't look large enough for homes, just small storage areas that they would be able to use in the woods for shelter.

Junko was looking through it while the Heralds stood guard and with her guards were observing for any signs of these wraith like beings that attacked the group. They didn't seem to like big crowds of more then they could attack and control one on one which worked in thei favor but it wasn't exactly the most easy thing to handle. The princess moved aside some of the debris to come away with some more of the smokestones within the one shelter and the remeains of armor over what used to be a body.

She was looking at the body and prepared for it, sticking with many of the things while her hands touched the stone and it was larger then the one they had found in the tree itself and there were some more int he pack he had. He might have been retrieving them and been attacked or he might have been putting them in place to try and make mental abilities amplified within the forest itself. Before she was going over the different things to work on it herself though she held the stone looking at some of the soldiers.

She had more interest in what they were doing though compared to some and now with the stones in the pack Junko had one of the vassals carry them around for her. Not contented to just leave it all out and to chance they would make it. Instead any of the stones they managed to find were being loaded itno her stuff for safekeeping and protect by the others. They would see about the rest and ensure those who were killed would have a proper burial before the time was over in the forest and Junko spoke.

"Lets look at we should be able to get from here." She had things set up so she was able to look out and develop a couple more of the things until she stood up a little higher. "You have been doing well and this all looks good. Thank you." Junko let them get her stuff back while she was exploring a little more and it looked like they had found one of the main entrances to the underground network. The stone protruding from the forest floor and the pathway going down as she could see the glow of crystals.

She wanted to walk down there and explore a little where they had been working on more of the things. Spending some time while she motioned them around and activated a glowrod with a nod of her head before she was walking over to some of the things that they had been looking over. "We'll go in a little princess but I do not recommend it, there are more things in the tunnels and this is not a place close to where we have cleared." Junko gave a nod of her head in understanding and was ready to explore.

So she could go down and explore a little, that was fine and all good as Junko looked at the faint lights of the crystals leading them down. The natural and unnatural light that came from them when in the presence of force users was something she did want to know about. How it worked could be a very nice thing for all of them to have before she stopped looking at the murals on the wall and wiping some of the dried roots out of the way that obscured her view of the forest itself. Junko squinted to see.

They were showing images of the forest above that they had fought in, ancient beings who were in the temple ruins they had found serving and influencing the Go Nagai in their works when she was guessing they turned on them. She had seen some of the beings and they didn't like someone trying to overtake what they perceived as their own godhood compared to others. The power was a dangerous and very seductive things that had them all fighting each other until there was nothing left but cinders above.

She couldn't make out the rest in the questionable pale light but it looked like they had been sealed and trapped in the alter containing their souls to power it up for a ritual and that might explain it. she had heard tell of such things before in other cases where the darkside was trapped and spirits could manifest but it wasn't really documented as opposed to things like sith weapons. Junko was going with the others and making her way from a couple fo the things as she went into one of the rooms down below.

She was heading into it while she looked around, there were casks and she could smell the sickly sweet scent of fermented and aged alcohol. Looking at it as she let the pale orange light illuminate the room revealing the casks finally touching some of them and they all looked sealed, the broken one had been smashed allowing it to stay there over the years and seep into the stone itself as a reddish purple stain. The scent of plums and everything that they had before she was walking over to one.

She was looking at more of it while she motioned to them. "See about taking one of those, if they are still good, perhaps we'll be able to have something of a special reserve at the palace or some of the guards will be able to celebrate for the night." She said it as one of the guards moved over looking at her giving some of the ideas as he lifted the cask up to check what they had found. "Yes princess." As he lifted it the cask was there over his shoulder while her held it and went through the door with another coming to replace them.

Junko continued to walk around in the room and look for anything but there wasn't much, if anything she was guessing this was someones stash given the different things they had stored here. Like a rum runner or pirate they kept things here for safety reasons but she would have to work with it in a better way before looking over with interest at the stones and crystals they had discovered. The droids were old and mostly destroyed until she wanted to let herself get these as well when she was holding them.

Junko stretched her arms out while she was ready to work on many of the things that they had been setting up in the camp. She had the bag of crystals and the stones with one of her guardsmen while the other was carrying the cask with a nod of her head. There wasn't much else that you could see in the tunnel and no more rooms unless you go deeper. She stuck a look around to the others before speaking. "Alright I think we explored all you would want me to explore down here yes, lets get these things back to camp."

The guards seemed excited and she thought she felt something from the soldiers that were with her when she was moving towards the camp now a little excited. here in the areas around the camp she could see they had set up more sensors to work with and protect themselves. Junko wanted to explore more but they had brought in a number of new equipment and things that they would be able to use for themselves all around. "Well looks like they brought out a lot of the new and improved pieces."

Junko looked at everything when the one of the guardsmen spoke with a nod of her head. "Yes princess, there was some new tech for us to work with and we are setting up the better sensors for the perimeter fences." Junko had a good idea and when they were all back in the camp she could see what else they had set up. Dropping in some fo the auto turrets that were able to be set up on the sides of the camp for them now. She wouldn't be surprised if they were going to do the same in the other camps but this was to protect her.

Junko was pleased with them and they would have a night of it for the rest of the time, drawing her interest on some of the things when she sat down checking her geta to ensure they were not dirty. "It will be so nice to get back to the palace with the showers and bathhouse. I am uncertain though what the water here would be like but all of you have done well. We should begin construction of somewhere you can all enjoy something more then a navy shower of only a couple minutes to relax."

The night was going on, they were celebrating a little about it and all of them were producing things to drink when she was offered a bottle for herself. A cup as she got it poured with a nod of her head. They still had a lot of exploring to do of the forest and would need to send teams of jedi to go and explore the ruins to try and figure out what it is that they were doing with the more dangerous parts of it. The alter would need to be contained so they dind't have wraiths attacking people who traveled through the forest.

Junko herself though enjoyed the taste of the drink when it came to her, it might not be proper to drink with your soldiers and guards but she preferred it. They knew how to drink, they worked with it and preferred to have a good time instead of getting sloshed and just passing out or getting angry. They were more happy to have fun and let the days risks bleed away in the tension before she leaned back against her small room. Able to enjoy watching all of them celebrate and be merry for the time being.

They had gone to sleep as Junko rested in the night, enjoying the warmth and feeling that came from drinking heavily with all of them and the aged wine casks they had found and tested proved very very good... delicious even but she couldn't waste it all. They had discussed it and agreed with a couple of the casks. So special things they they could do to celebrate with it and they would keep it in the main storage area for them to break it out. Preferably of course bringing her some of it to share.

Junko slept well and the soldiers had been working to protect them all night before the morning came and she was rising up out of her bed. All of the things that they had found here was collected when she got out to see what they were wanting to do. "Alright who is ready to head back home?" she said it with a smile seeing most of them waking up from the night before and they had been more then ready. Impressive in their things before she got dressed by her servants and was starting to dictate her reports.

"Our small excursion into the forest has proven beneficial to our efforts to map the valley and area around the palace. Working with the local information from the records we were able to make some headway into the forest. We discovered that the legends are somewhat true. There is something here of the force but we are uncertain exactly what it is. The information will be sent along to the researchers at the jedi temple to see if they can find any information for us on what we discovered in the small ruins discovered and creatures."

Junko was walking with them now and they continued to make their way through the forest into the better more open sections of it. To provide them with a few ideas of where they were going and what they would be able to do until she brushed herself off. "Other discoveries have led me to believe that there is such a thing in this forest we should be searching for. Clues to why the creatures are here and not across the world but I have a theory it has to do with the markers, the stone and crystal lanterns we have seen."

They continued going through the forest, with all of their things packed up and worked on. "We have been continuing to work on some of the other areas as well, scout feedback and drones that are searching the forest have reported there are some structures left over and places that have been abandoned in many of the things. Whatever there is going on with the force energies around here we will have to develop some other things." She was thinking about it and they would need to send teams in to investigate.

Junko thought about some of the things that they were going to need to be doing and need to handle with it, provided they had enough information while going into all of the things then there was going to be a small problem here and there. Something more interesting might be coming from it if they managed to provide a while lot of new information to the jedi researchers. Junko walked along the path as the sounds of the transport that was coming to meet them and take her witht he others home flew overhead.

THey were getting everything as they arrived, setting up outside of the woods when finally the pathway broke into markers and then an open area. Leading down the mountains towards the city where she could see it, that gleaming tower that was obscenely high and built into the ground just as much. As far as a royal palace went it wasn't such a bad place you could look down upon everything within the city as well as everything far down below across the land. Junko stopped as she could see the transport landing.

Junko looked at it as there were some more soldiers on it and they started loading up what she was looking at. Depending on what they might have found it could go over very very well for them when she got to take up a few things. Developing some new information while they released more of the probe droids that would give them information and she stepped on the ship with a nod of her head. "This is all looking well, you have been great." She was looking at the massive Herald that stood there with her and the others when they loaded her stones.

She had the different stones gathered that they would be able to work with before she stood there and a seat was cleared. In the center with the different ones, the heralds and her own personal guard all around her. The transport provided even more in the way of stuff for them to check out as she watched the other guards working on more of the things. They had been turning up watching over the forest when they were flying over to give a few more things that they turned over to go to the palace.

Junko was looking at her palace prepared to work on more of the things now, they ascended up to the landing pad going over her garden with the beauty of it and fish that were inside of it. She was looking at where they were cleaning and continuing to develop the palace itself. With all of its parts and sections including the pool that went over the one walkway leading from the landing pad to the palace throne room. Sticking with it when they touched down Junko was looking at all of her notes.

Junko stretched while she was looking over the things they had, everything being taken into the palace gave her a lot of things to work with when she was walking and the sound of the small waterfall cascading over the pathway cast the valley in a beautiful display. There was more work going through the vassals that were showing reports of what had happened and a number of other things that were being given from the village down below allowing them to get a lot of information about the crop production.

They were also making some nice gains in the other locations of the valley itself. Reaching out and working with the soldiers to clear a pathway and the area near the river that they could use to have a fort constructed there. Something simple, something beneficial and something that would allow them to control the valley itself and start making barriers and borders in regions to help protect themselves from some of the larger creatures that are on the planet or from some of the creatures that are in the waters.

"Is all going well?" They were working on more of it, to give some ideas of what would become of the valley and she had more scout reports coming in now to show where they were mapping and organizing within the forest itself. Junko could see they had explored in her little group going through from the northern region to the southern region pass about twenty five percent of it and there was still a lot more near the river and to the east. The western was mostly nestled against mountains and some small areas that were obscured.

Junko entered ito the throne room and standing there while she looked over all of the things got to have a small amount of enjoyment for herself. She was working on it, she was developing some of the better plans for them in what they wanted to construct and around here that was going to be at a premium once they fleshed out and went through the valley. Avoiding the forest meant they would go forward and push towards the area around the lake and the other underground areas

She could see based on the new holographic maps that they were developing with all of the drones and people mapping them, giving them as much of the information and as much of the new things here and around they could fill it with. The valley past the village going towards the lake and the jedi temple itself was visible to provide them with more of it information wise as it expanded outwards and showed them more of the mountains around the palace going and heading out towards the other cities.

Junko finally took her seat on the throne and the holoprojectors for the hardlight were there in front of her showing her the valley, the forest and the underground tunnels they had documented along with projections of where they might connect and how they could start sectioning them off to go underneat the forest in case it was going to prove somewhat dangerous in a way none of them had been expecting. She would need to contact the others and get their opinion within the jedi first though.

Getting their feedback on it would prove invaluable as she had all of the information and started sending it to the proper channels of the temple so they would be able to work. "Cousin Matsu, I am sending to you and your research division the information we have gathered about ruins and creatures of the force in the forests around us. it is a strange thing to see and something that is not explainable to my knowledge. I was hoping that you have information in the archives about this possibly having happened before."

She was glad to see it going off and into the reports for herself but there was bound and ready to be more of it, staying with the things that they had been doing. Junko had the reports off, she had the maps and information for it all then there was the most important thing she could work with. Her guardswomen were set up here to make everything look good as she spoke adjusting the map with a nod of her head to them. "Alright we have a lot of it done and ready, lets have another celebration and then meet with the people."

Junko stayed there while she was looking out upon all of it, sticking now that she had a chance to relax and the news had gone out to the people. So she would be able to work on more of it and provide herself with several new places and some of the new pieces of information. THey were coming here to celebrate and after she got a little cat nap she would go and take a shower to prepare for all of them and to go out and meet with all of them. "This is a very nice place to see and with what we found I'll be able to contribute to some of the projects."

THe smokestones were being taken with what they had to provide them with a chance to develop several projects. Junko was thinking about what they might be working on or making it into but the labs at Sasori would become something very nice. "Understood princess, we will have the stones and crystals sent to your family at the temple and continue to monitor the situation for ourselves. Once they contact and inform us we shall come and get you my lady." The one said it and Junko was walking towards her chamber to sleep. She had had a rather interesting week.
