There is Knowledge [Open to SSC - PM for Invite]

Noting that [member="Taygeta Lightkeeper"] had came in also giving her a nod while listening to all that was being said. Letting herself note the ones that was like Taygeta a bit late. Going so far as to say that at less Taygeta knew how to be respectful to the on going not open her mouth. As she patted her on the shoulder with a loving manner if she had brought her under her wings to teach him.

Finding herself more and more listening but also couldn't help but to be struck deeply but what [member="Connor Harrison"] had to say to the young Heavenshield. [member="Théodred Heavenshield"] any ways she had a lot to ponder herself on how she raised her two twin all these years wanting nothing more to protect them as she wanted to keep them away from all the killing. That she had seen out in the galaxy all those time in the field of battle taking care of the wounded.

Either way she felt it was her turn to speak on the matter.

Master Harrison is right for what he speak of is his way of looking at the matter of death. Being a healer I see things also as my way of trying to protect all around me to stop the passing of friends and foes. Yes as Master Harrison and others know of my passion for all life, one must remember that on the battle fields even then the other side is not always wrong but have there own view point of the situation. In times we have to take up arms to defend what is right to make sure others to live with out life there would be nothing, but that don't mean that in fate some of welcome sooner in the living force them others. We shouldn't be sadden by this but rejoice that they are still with us in the living force now. Remember what they stood for and there passion and what they gave up for that they also knew we all must be ready for death and to face our love ones passing also.

Taygeta felt a bit better when she was patted on the shoulder. It gave her more of a sense of belonging. Still silent, she watched and listened to those around her.

She particularly listened to what Maya was saying. On the matter of Death, the Jedi seemed to contend that when one dies, the energy that was the force of life returned to the Living Force. She wasn't sure what she meant yet by 'living' Force, but the way she was talking implied that there was an inherent interconnection between life itself and the Force.

On this matter, she would ponder deeply. She'd also have to interrogate the Jedi Master on the subject after the gathering's proceedings were concluded. What was the Force, really? A mystical energy field akin to the 'magic' of holovids and ancient legends? Or was it, perhaps, something more quantifiable, like a fifth force of nature? She continued to listen in silence, mindful of what was being spoken of around her.

Vorian Adasca fell into a contemplative silence as the once-Sith Knight, now Jedi Knight explained the complex dynamics of the relationship between the dark side and emotions, especially that of love. Intriguing how quickly one could go from reveling in the slaughter of innocents in the name of some reclusive dark lord with a god complex to delicately tutoring Padawans on love and the force. Of course, Vorian could not say such a thing aloud. It would neither be appropriate nor fair to Master Mullarus, who currently seemed to have been trying his best to make amends for a life of wrongs.

The Arkanian Jedi gave the white feathers of his perched Snow Eagle a casual pet as he watched the other Padawans ask their own questions. He especially enjoyed Tynni's.

Eventually, Vorian cleared his throat and inquired: "Master Mullarus. Is it not slightly hypocritical to forsake anger and passion, but embrace love? Are they not mere different facets of the same alluring gem? Does the tender caress of a lover not inflame a being with the lust the Sith so infamously channel? And when the fires of love dim in heart break and despair, does that not invite the infectious grasp of rage and hatred?" The Arkanian tilted his silvery head to the side. Vorian clearly maintained a penchant for asking difficult questions.

The words of the Masters who had addressed him had an impact on Théo as he began to feel a little better for it. But the sense of loss would never truly be removed, and he had to wonder if the families now in pain and without the presence of their loved one would deem this a blessing. Could not the same positive effect of their deaths also produce a negative one? The ripples of good would wash over the galaxy as they had said, but so to possibility of the darkness. It could equally produce a hatred or grudge toward him and/or the Jedi that in time will manifest in a person to become an enemy. Not everything is so black and white, not everything is accepted by all. The children of the families now with their parent do not have the benefit of the support and wisdom he does and so could fall to the darkness of the night.

He did not say another word, but acknowledge the Masters with a his profound attention and a respectful nod once they had finished, and although young, Théo knew only time and maturity would help him learn to cope. Time does not heal any wounds of the heart or mind, but does help those that suffer to cope with it.

After both Connor and George had their say Master Maya had hers. She as a healer had a very different perspective than both the Master and the Knight before her, but it was an interesting one non the less and gave another insight to the life of a Jedi. As another man spoke up, one he had never met before. He pondered an interesting question to the Knight running the training. However George felt that he might be able to shed some light on the answer. "It is a very good question Padawan. One that has been asked a million times with different answers every time. However from my perspective love, if embraced strongly and controllably can positively influence your own strength mentally and physically. Anger leads to hate, hate leads to the darkside, and for this reason is it is taught to control your anger, do not allow it to manifest or it could in the end take control of you. Love from my point of you is a guide, it guides you through the hard times for the hopes of seeing your loved ones again. I may not partake in such relationships as others in this room, but my loves goes to my daughter, although not by blood, she is what pushes me to make myself a better Jedi." He had hoped this had shun some light on the situation as he continued to hold his position to the side of the room standing up against the wall listening to the amazing work that was going on.

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
She had questions. Everyone had question - that was the way of the galaxy. But the important ones? The ones she wanted answers to, well they would not be drawn from her mind, she simply would not allow them. They were too painful and the subject of a solemn promise to her former Master - and his memory.

She momentarily considered fabricating a question, to appease her Master, but this felt wrong. It would be an insult to Master Ike and of no value to anyone. Instead she continued to listen and shared the following with her Master. "I am enjoying hearing so many perspectives and to hear questions I would not have thought of myself but once I hear them, I am intrigued to hear the response. And if anything pops into my head, I'll be sure to ask, I assure you."

Matsu continued to listen to them as she looked at her padawan and gave a nod of her head in agreement to it. Sorel was in her own head but she asked questions when she needed to and tried to figure out what she could as needed. It gave the jedi master more then enough with all of it going forward to pay attention to most of the ones there. "Very well, it is rather curious to see." Her smile was there wondering the perspectives of the knights assembled before her hands clasped in front of herself. "I am having a rather fun time listening to them as well, wonder who will be next."

Sorel Crieff

Ready are you? What know you of ready?
As if a dam had burst, a question sprang forth from Sorel's lips before she had a chance to modify it, let alone stop it. "I came from another Order, one I fear had lost its way. My question is about the Silver Jedi. My fear, perhaps my greatest fear is that they too will lose their way. The Order was historically set up to be devoted solely to combating the dark side of the Force. To go beyond what a Republic Jedi would do and eradicate all dark side influences. Is that still the intention?"

It was a genuine question, so there was nothing Machiavellian in the asking, and the answer was one she sought most vehemently. But now and here was not the time or the place she would have chosen to pose it. But like a genie and the bottle, once it was out it was out.

Connor Harrison

Guest
Connor slowly twirled his thumbs one around the other, elbows set on the wooden rail above, watching and listening. Padawan [member="Sorel Crieff"] had a good question, one he hadn’t heard before. While the Silvers were rooted in strong foundations, they had come a long way since then. What would the future hold? Maybe it was down to the few individuals who had nothing else but the Silvers to focus on and represent?

He knew himself the Republic was imploding like a Red Dwarf, but not really why. For that reason, he felt that the Sanctum would go from strength to strength; they didn’t have a political mind, and that was probably their greatest asset. They didn’t debate and weaken the Faction internally; they acted outwardly.

Connor would go above and beyond his duty, that was not in question, but for this, he stayed silent and automatically looked over to [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] – he was the elected leader; the man whom everyone followed and the one who could speak for anyone and everyone and have the final say. This wasn’t something for Connor to answer.

Oh.... Matsu remained there looking at her padawan as the girl asked her question now and she had that moment looking up and at Connor.... IN the years knowing the man he wasn't one for not speaking or offering something. She bowed her head to Sorel indicating it was a good question to have while she placed a hand on the girls back and patted it thinking for her padawan to hear. <Very good, now pay attention and observe everything you can.> She was wondering what might be said and what may be implied, she served the light and that was a valued thing to follow compared to many of the things.
