Things Uncommon in Mind

Wolfgang

The guards appeared both held blaster rifles but they weren't trained on the two "tourists" [member="Lady Kay"] went on to say that the two intruders would be riding with her to the Palace and that they should have the guest rooms prepared. Wolfgang ignored Akay's comment because he felt like there something up with those guest rooms seeing as she paused before saying it. He would note it and keep a guard up.

A few seconds later, the duo were prodded into the ship. He would look back at the guard that pushed him, his fists would clench then he would look down to the blaster and and back off. Wolfgang decided it was best not to start conflict and he continued to find a seat.

When he found a seat he would hear Lady Kay ask if anyone should be contacted to know the whereabouts of the duo, Akay said that nobody and seemed to mock Wolfgang by saying his 'rents were worried sick but then asked genuinely if he had anyone. Wolfgang didn't want to contact the Order seeing as they'd want nothing to do with it. His parents were back on Abregado-Rae doing Maker knows what. He would ultimately smirk.

"Hmm let's see, the Order will want nothing to do with this, the 'rents are on Abregado-Rae doing whatever the hell they want...And Romeo my dear Romeo well he's just Romeo....So No" he'd say as he adjusted his shirt.

Kay pursed her lips a bit as [member="Khrelan Arke"] told her that he had no one to contact. She believed him on that point for the most part. He seemed the type to work alone.

Her attention then turned to [member="Wolfgang"] as he said that the Order wouldn't want anything to do with this situation. She raised a brow, tilting her head to the side a bit. "Oh really? The Order would wipe their hands clean of you because you failed and got caught? I find that a little hard to believe. But if that's the truth, then they really aren't that righteous and don't deserve your loyalty...."

Kay sat there in silence for the rest of the short journey, studying the two as they sat there. Long durations of silence tended to make people uncomfortable and she knew that very well. Soon the transport was brought to a halt and the door opened. Kay got to her feet and was let out first before her two guests were 'encouraged' to do the same by the guards. "Try to be on your best behaviour, gentlemen. My guards get itchy trigger fingers."

Kay led them into the Palace and straight towards the dining hall. Oddly enough all of the doors that they passed were open. And even after they walked into the dining hall itself, the door remained open. Guards were posted on either side of the door in the hallway while Kay approached the table and took her seat at the head of it. "Have a seat."

Servants soon arrived with a light supper consisting of various meats, breads and fruit. A cart containing Sapir tea and Commenori brandy was also wheeled in. Kay smiled at AK and Wolfgang. "So, tell me about this Order of the Righteous Flame. What do they fight for?"

The queen believed him right away whereas the boy, she got to question him more right away.

Sharp ears listened as the queen's crisp and sturdy voice asked about the Order and spoke about her assumptions. [member="Wolfgang"] was probably lying about it being unnecessary to contact the order

Khrelan lazily crossed one leg over the other thigh and rested his head against hands for the remainder of the trip. His eyes met [member="Lady Kay"] 's golden speckled ones once or twice but they never lingered and returned to the window, thoughts running a mile a minute while a cool I-got-this look masked his features. It was only a minute, or two at most, when he felt the transport settle on solid ground and he was again unkindly pushed out the transport by the guards' large hands.

"Nice place you got here, Lady Kay. Very fitting for a Queen."

The palace screamed expense and luxury at every corner, like he expected it to. After all, a queen couldn't live in a shabby rut on the streets, right? He obeyed with a nod of a head, a genuinely polite smile sent her way and seated himself. The open doors didn't escape his notice as the food was wheeled out by servants.

He forced his gaze to focus on the boy as the queen continued with her questions, ignoring the intense sweet aroma of the tea and the delicious smells of the perfectly marinated meats. One thing good and bad about the Manahaim was that they could literally smell everything at its finest.

What [member="Lady Kay"] really annoyed the teen, mostly because there might've been some truth in all that. The trip was short because soon he would be pushed out of the ship by the same guard. The Templar's fists closed again as Lady Kay gave a warning saying that the guards had itchy trigger fingers. Through clenched teeth the teen would glare back at the queen's guard.

"Touch me again and we'll see how far your jumpy hands get you..." He would growl as they were led through the palace. Oddly enough, every door they passed was open, even after entering the dining hall they remained open. It creeper Wolfgang out. To Fang, someone who is too open is bound to be hiding something. The blonde man said it was a nice place and Fang agreed.

"It truly is."

The queen's voice startled him when she asked them to take a seat. She took a seat at the head, so Wolfgang took one of the shoulder seats, before sitting down he'd set his bow down next to the chair.

Then came the question it was about the Order. He would smirk at the queen.

"Oh it's impolite for a gentleman to talk about himself....Or so Romeo would have me believe." He paused.

The smell of fine foods filled the room, something Wolfgang rarely had the pleasure of smelling. He shook his head, he was sure the queen would've smacked him if he didn't answer a satisfying answer.

"It's quite simple really, we fight for the Maker...." He'd say in a serious tone. He would feel the table and watch the servants carefully.

So far so good. [member="Khrelan Arke"] and [member="Wolfgang"] did as they were told. She could see the nervousness in them, watched as their anxiety grew. And yet still they kept their manners, not even helping themselves to the food. Perhaps they were waiting for her to start.

Kay wondered what they had thought her past to be. Did they think that she was born into this? That was far from the truth. She worked for it, suffered for it, and not even marriage brought her to this new role. No. She gained it all on her own, with perhaps a little bit of help.

She started to dish out her own food, taking some if the meat and breads. "Feel free to help yourselves. And don't worry, it's not poisoned or drugged. I've never resorted to such low tactics and I never will. So please..."

Kay had one of the servants pour them some water. One of her newly appointed Ministers didn't quite trust her either, so that was all that he would drink. She took a bite of meat and swallowed it before responding to what Wolfgang has said about the Order, whuch was very little. "The Maker? Who's that? And who is it that you fight?"

Khrelan Arke

"Yes, ma'am," Khrelan obeyed and smiled a close lipped smile at [member="Lady Kay"] . As for everything he did, there was a reason he mostly never showed teeth or, even if he did, only a bit, enough to be friendly and not appear closed off. His Manahaim mother gave him the trait of especially developed and sharp canines that distinguished he wasn't exactly human.

He saw the overconfident smirk sent at the queen, no doubt to hide the kid's nervousness, then again listened as he spoke about Romeo again and what the Order fought for. He didn't go into too much detail which was somewhat smart of him.

"Did the Maker give you those tattoos or something?" He thought out loud, eyes narrowing to the one on Fang's neck.

Khrelan soon tuned the exchange out to stab the same meats and bread the queen did with the serving forks, plopping them onto his plate quietly and with little noise. Sure, this might come off as a sign of disbelief of her words but one can never be too careful. The drinks, though, he poured himself a cup of Sapir tea. The aroma was just too enticing for his heightened senses.

Then, sweeping his bangs to the side with a smooth head shake, he looked to [member="Wolfgang"] as the queen asked about the Maker.

Wolfgang watched as the queen began to move food onto her plate, the Templar followed suit and began to move meat and bread along with other things onto his plate. The Queen assured the two guests that the food was not poisoned or drugged Wolfgang hadn't even thought about that, he was too busy worrying about the décor and all the doors in the palace being open.

He smirked, the queen could've gotten the better of the tattooed boy. [member="Khrelan Arke"] asked if the Maker gave him the tattoos which made him smile. The other two probably haven't heard of the Maker.

"No...Well not that I know of, these tattoos are more of a family thing a distinction between families I guess. But I see them as a good luck charm, for the most part." He would pause as the queen posed her questions about the Maker.

"To put it in short...The Maker is a all seeing and all knowing deity. " He would chuckle, he hated to talk about his religion it was a cleric's job...

"As for what we fight against...We fight against force users...They seek to disrupt peace between innocent people." He frowned. "Or something like that" he mumbled.

He began to pick at his food.

"I mean if you want to see my diary about it...Feel free, I'm sure Romeo has a copy" he joked.

Kay broke one of her pieces of bread and ate it, her attention going back to [member="Khrelan Arke"] . There was much that she needed to learn about him, but all in good time. She was a patient person. These two will not be kept together for long.

Her eyes returned to [member="Wolfgang"] as he answered her questions. The religion part she didn't much care for, but fighting against Force users? That was new....

Kay dug into the food on her plate more, trying to hide her concern by putting on a casual mask like AK. "You fight against Force users? Building up my career in politics, I knew that many didn't trust Force users in power, which was why it was forbidden. But how do you do it? Have an open war on them? Or hunt them down like animals? Surely in some way, you are disturbing the peace by taking such violent action against some that wouldn't hurt anyone. Such ideals can sometimes turn someone into the very enemy that they fight."

It was no wonder that he was poking around in her mines. Chrysopaz gemstones had been cultivated for lightsaber use, but also as jewelry. The latter would be her cover story.

Well, those tattoos certainly weren't working its magic right now. They were both in a tight spot and they both needed to tread carefully. On thin ice, so to speak. The queen was smart and he could tell she was already a step ahead of them, so they needed to step up the game as well.

Khrelan chuckled, a grin splitting his face for a millisecond. "Well, they do seem to be working now," he remarked. His statement could be interpreted both ways, as sarcastic or genuine for luck had bought themselves some time to think instead of getting thrown in Commenor's prisons right away.

Khrelan raised both his eyebrows at [member="Lady Kay"] in a friendly 'wassup' gesture as her eyes fell on him again. He then tore off a piece of meat from his fork, chewing politely. The rich flavor permeated his tongue and he slowed to savor the food although there was more. It was a rare thing to him to get a hold of food this grand.

The exchange about Force users and the Order's fight against them piqued his interest but it had nothing to do with his life –Force users were off his radar and he won't ever mess with them– so, he turned back to the food.

Wolfgang watched closely as [member="Lady Kay"] began to eat the bread, tearing it piece by piece. The boy would close his eyes for a second, when the queen's voice was heard they would slowly open. She spoke of how she built her way up as a politician, and how most people didn't trust force users in power and that it was forbidden. She went on to ask how they did it, if it was an open war with the force users or more of hunting them like animals. She commented on something that irritated Wolfgang, he took a deep breath before cutting a piece of meat and eating it, Ak's statement about how his tattoos seemed to be working annoyed him, he didn't know if it was because it sounded sarcastic or what.

He would look to Lady Kay and give a fake smile. "Of course we fight against force users... As for how we do it... as far as I can tell it's a combination of both depending on who you ask. I myself prefer to hunt them down like the animals they are..." He paused as he picked up the glass of water and sipped at it.

"As for disturbing the so called peace, those force users already do that, with every breath they take and, and saying that they don't hurt anyone is like saying that queens don't live in palaces...It's simply not true." He let the last part go as he looked to Akay had been fairly silent and it made the Templar tilt his head.

[member="Khrelan Arke"] was calm, cool and collected. Or at least that was how he appeared. Kay didn't want to chance studying him too closely just yet.

What [member="Wolfgang"] had said about the Order wasn't entirely anythung new. She had heard the same arguments when she had worked in the Senate and yet at times those that couldn't access the Force were far more aggressive and violent than those that were. He twisted her words a little, but that was only because he was spouting rhetoric. As a politician, she could smell it a mile away.

"I said that SOME don't hurt anyone, not all. But those that cannot use the Force can be just as deadly, and just as cruel. Look at the history of the super powers of the Galaxy....Most of the destruction, murders and genocide was caused by non-Force users. So your argument about them disturbing the peace is invalid."

Kay ate more of her meat, chewing and swallowing it down before speaking again."So far you've given me no reason to allow them access to my mines, or into Commenori space to fetch you. But as you said, they wouldn't want anything to do with you. Is there some other reason for that?"

The smuggler dragged the cup of Sapir tea closer to himself, gave it a good whiff then, satisfied with how it smelled as in not poisoned, took a long sip. He side glanced the vexed [member="Wolfgang"] as he smiled a fake and sarcastic smile and continued the speech on how all Force users needed to be destroyed. The blonde didn't agree with everything Fang said, but he respected it and regarded his words with silent eyes.

Yes, Force users inflicted destruction on the galaxy but so did non Force users, like [member="Lady Kay"] mentioned.

Khrelan took another long sip of the tea, the warmth and slightly bitter tang of it sticking pleasantly in his mouth. Khrelan shrugged nonchalantly at the boy who looked to him. "I'm gonna stay outta this, kay? I don't like to tangle myself in all their Sith, Jedi, Dark Jedi, whatever chit they have going on. The curse word left his lips before he could restrain himself and he chuckled, immediately sending the queen an apologetic glance, "Sorry for my language, ma'am." Aplogizing for such a simple thing wasn't something he usually did, but he felt it was necessary now.

Forking a small piece of the meat into his mouth, his attention focused on the queen's words again, practically telling the boy that no one would be coming to get him with an air of finality. His own chewing stopped a second then continued, brain whirring at the rhythm to it. He had a ship, no worries.

Wolfgang must've set something off in Lady Kay because she seemed to be angry at the teen's comment. She came to the conclusion that Wolfgang's comment was invalid. Wolfgang smirked it must've gotten to her. He would continue to eat a few more bites before purposefully talking with his mouth full.

"And who do you think participated in those wars...Who do you think were behind the leaders...Giving the orders to the troops?" He swallowed the food and cleared his throat. [member="Lady Kay"] continued to say that she had no reasons to let anyone into her mines or into Commenor space for Fang's retrieval.

He continued to smirk. "Never said they wanted access...I was just mapping it out." He paused. "Another reason...Let's see..." He continued to smirk. "Nope...You'd have to talk to the higher ups for a reason."

The comment that [member="Khrelan Arke"] made had Wolfgang nearly die of laughter. "So what you're saying is that you don't care if force users are gone?..."

Kay rolled her tongue over her teeth as [member="Wolfgang"] decided to talk with his mouth full. It was obvious that he was doing his best to annoy her. So she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. Instead she sighed and took a sip of water. "It wasn't a Force user that came up with the Death Star. Non Force users were the bulk of the Empire and they could have overthrown the last of the Force users and destroyed them. But no, they didn't. And when Force users were hidden and presumed dead, wars still raged on. There was no peace. Humanoids are not peaceful by nature. Sorry to burst your little rhetoric bubble."

To his comment on just being there to 'map out her mines', she just slowly shook her head. "I wasn't born yesterday. Nobody comes in just to map out a mine that houses gemstones for kicks. As only your higher ups will know why, well, then you'll just have to wait until they decide to come looking for you. And if they don't? This will be the only planet that you'll ever see for the rest of your days...." And that would be if she would let him outside. Right now it wasn't even looking like he'd have a window.

Her eyes then fell upon [member="Khrelan Arke"] as he spoke up, swore and then apologized. Followed by the laughter of Wolfgang. "I stay out of it myself. Commenor is neutral again after getting out of the grip of the Sith. I plan on keeping it that way."

Khrelan Arke

He arched an eyebrow at [member="Wolfgang"] and flung up a hand, elbow still rested on the table and indicating his neutrality in the matter. "Hey, look, don't laugh. I'm just saying I'm going to keep out of the Force user's business and your Order of the Righteous Flame. I have enough problems on my hand," he stated vaguely and swept a hand through his dirty blonde hair. One problem being this one, which he was confident he was going to get out of.

Khrelan was impressed by how much the queen remained calm. Some politicians or higher ups threw tantrums at the slightest hints of disrespect. The subject of Force users was a sore subject for her and he couldn't help but wonder why.

However, he could see [member="Lady Kay"] 's patience with Fang wained with each word he said and the blonde almost felt sorry for him. Again, it was the boy's problem not his. Disapproval was sharp on her face.

"That's a smart choice, ma'am," he replied simply before taking another sip of the Sapir tea again.

Wolfgang continued to work away at the food that was on his plate. His concentration on the food was interrupted by Lady Kay. She sternly said that it wasn't force users who built the Death Star, and wars still raged on even when the force users were being killed and going into hiding. The teen grit his teeth and leaned back in the dining chair. He would look to the queen with cold eyes. He had no clue what to say, he sat there silently for a few moments.

He would remain silent as she spoke of how nobody maps out mines for fun and that if the Order didn't come for him then he'd rot on the planet for the rest of his life. He bit his lip. A smirk would be present on his face but only for a second.

"They wouldn't be able to get me seeing as you've said that you have no reason to let them into Commenori Space" he'd say coldly. He would look to the table then back to [member="Lady Kay"].

"I'm sure you wouldn't want to imprison a minor, especially one that was simply visiting."

[member="Khrelan Arke"] said not to laugh cuz he had a lot more problems on his hands.

"And what are those problems?"

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
At least [member="Khrelan Arke"] knew his place and how to behave himself in front of a Monarch. [member="Wolfgang"] on the other hand, he had a rather large chip on his shoulder and chose to argue with her at every turn. She could see his anger building, could feel it.

Kay smirked as Wolfgang tried to use her words against her. While he had done his best to cause her to lose her temper. Instead she just smiled and spoke rather calmly, a hint of malice flickered in her eyes however. "Coming to get you would be a good reason, but as you said, they don't want anything to do with you. I can see why. And as for imprisoning a minor that was simply...just visiting?" Kay laughed. "We both know that you are lying. I have no qualms over imprisoning one like yourself. If you're old enough to kill, you're old enough to face punishment for your crimes."

She leaned back in her chair, tracing her finger along the rim of her glass. "The decision that I have to make now will be as to how comfortable I'd like you room to be. And right now...it's not looking good for you. At least A.K. here has the right attitude."

Wolfgang stopped eating all together. He just let a simple glare fall on his face. He looked down to his bow and frowned. Then looked back to the queen. His ears were attentively listening to every word she spoke. How she had no problems with imprisoning a minor, and how the only hard decision she'd have to make is about how comfortable she would want his cell to be.

Wolfgang's eyes widened a bit. By the tone of her voice, she was serious. Wolfgang sat up a bit. He gulped. "Maker..." He whispered. He shook his head and let his gaze fall to the table. He looked back to the queen.

"You can't be serious?" He asked with a half-hearted grin.

[member="Lady Kay"]

"Oh I am very serious. You've given me very little choice on the matter. Spies when caught are very rarely tteated with leniency."

Her eyes shot up to [member="Wolfgang"] , almost as though she was challenging him. Perhaps in some way, she was. "It's up to you to prove to me that I should spare you. No lying, no hiding. I want to know the full truth. You do understand that I have millions of people depending on me while you just care about yourself. And right now you are a threat to them."

Wolfgang avoided her gaze, he kept his eyes down at the table as [member="Lady Kay"] spoke, he wasn't frightened yet he just needed time to think. The queen spoke about how she had little choice and that spies weren't treated very nicely. Wolfgang snorted a bit, especially when she said that Wolfgang would have to prove himself, no lying, no carelessness.

The teen folded his arms as he looked back up to the Queen. He looked around the room before meeting her steely gaze. Wolfgang kept his smirk constant. "If you have little choice in the matter I guess I am bound to chains even in this chair." The teen started. He let out a dry chuckle. "And why would a queen who is so set on seeing me in shackles so determined to find out the truth?" He smirked. "Yet what truth is that?"
