Things Uncommon in Mind

Kay looked down at the pile that grew at [member="Khrelan Arke"] 's feet as he emptied out his satchel. The fact that he also added his weapons on the pile spoke volumes about his confidence. She smirked at the tools that he carried for excavating. Out for a stroll indeed.

"AK? Pleasure..."

Her eyes were then averted to [member="Wolfgang"] while he introduced himself. It was an odd name, not to mention his nicknames. No doubt he was one of the more popular youths in his gang. She smirked at the contents in his pocket. Typical youth. One thing drew her attention more. It wasn't the credits, nor the condom that he was embarrassed about. Just what kind of encounter was he planning in these caves anyways? No, what drew her attention was the piece of paper.

She approached him. "Wolfgang, is it?" She bent down and picked up the piece of paper, unfolding it as she looked it over. "Is this something that your Romeo drew for you? Or someone else entirely? The truth now..." She stood up straight and held his gaze while she waited for his answer.

Wolfgang. Fang? The Guardian Wolf? Whatever he felt like calling himself. A quiet snicker rolled past his lips as the teen emptied a condom out of his pocket, watching it join the pile as well.

He offered [member="Lady Kay"] a half smile half smirk in response at the knowing look she gave him, his confidence not diminishing one bit. "Pleasure to meet you too, my queen." If he had been within arm's distance with her, he would've given her a handshake.

Typical tactic. Make trouble, upset people, charm people, handle people, and leave mostly unharmed.

The charming or handling people was working well on his part. The kid? Not so much. [member="Wolfgang"] was on his own. The queen demanded to know where he got the drawing from, asking about the kid's joke of Romeo and the paper. Khrelan could practically see her intense glare with how rigid her posture was, even though her back was to him. Typical powerful people ordering others around.

The smuggler was just glad he wasn't in the tattooed teen's position. Folding his arms loosely over his chest, he arched a blonde eyebrow at Wolfgang, declaring his own curiosity to know as well.

Wolfgang watched attentively as the woman spoke, she clarified his name before bending down and picking up the piece of folded paper and opening it. She would ask if the so called Romeo drew it or if it was something that had another meaning.

Wolfgang bit his lip at her harsh tone. She pretty much commanded him to explain the paper, and Wolfgang felt that if he didn't he'd get interrogated by her guards. He set out a sigh as he rested his hands back into his pockets.

He maintained his smile as he wondered what he was going to say.

"Oh no way, my Romeo couldn't never draw so well!" He said with a gasp and a mock noble voice. His face instantly went blank and his let normal voice show again.

"But I'm guessing you want the real reason I have that." He said as he looked to the drawing in her hand.

"I was actually exploring the mines...I was supposed to map them out if I'm being more specific." He would say. He didn't want to go into details.

"Now if you don't mind, I'd like to collect my things." He gestured to the handful of credits on the ground along with the condom.

He looked to the blonde and simply said "What kind of name is Akay?"

His Queen. Funny how some people like [member="Khrelan Arke"] would say that. Of course he had to be in her good graces so that he could get away cleanly. But she wasn't going to let him leave with all of his belongings. The digging equipment was going to stay put.

She smirked as [member="Wolfgang"] mocked nobility. It was what he said next about the drawing that concerned her greatly. She stepped closer to him, standing on his credits and such as though they didn't exist while she was mere inches from him. "Map them out for who? And for what?" Her eyes narrowed as many different scenarios played out in her mind of just what the youth was up to. "Out with it and we'll see if you get to see the sun again."

His things were replaceable, as all things were, but he preferred not going through the trouble again to get his hands on the excavation tools.

"What kind of a title is The Guardian Wolf?" Khrelan asked in return, simple and clear.

To be disrespectful to royalty was one thing, but to actually mock them? Not a good idea [member="Wolfgang"] was doing but that was his problem to deal with so the blonde kept his mouth wisely shut. Only giving the boy one sympathetic glance before his cerulean eyes returned to [member="Lady Kay"] .

He stuffed his hands within pockets, balling them in the soft fabric as the queen took a truly threatening stance that spike more than words could. Her words were clipped and concise as she demanded another thing from the tattooed boy and Khrelan's curiosity settled on Wolfgang again.

Wolfgang frowned as the queen stepped on his things, she was not too close, but close enough for discomfort. The tattooed boy would bite his lip at the woman's demand of explaining the drawing and who it was for. She said he even might be able to see the sun afterwards.

"You aren't making this easy on me are you?" He'd say with a halfhearted grin. He wanted to say it was his Romeo that asked him to draw it, but he knew not to test the queen's patience.

The boy let out an audible sigh. "Okay, I was tasked to investigate these mines on intel of there being something down here." He'd say quickly, he hoped that she would be satisfied with the answer, but with the way things had been going, Fang knew she wouldn't.

"A few people from the Order tipped me off." He added.

Kay brought her free hand up in order to silence [member="Khrelan Arke"] . He was not her priority at this moment. That honour fell upon [member="Wolfgang"] . "And what -thing- is that exactly?" She kept her eyes directly on his, never breaking her gaze as she stared him down.

What he said about the Order caused her stance to waver a little. Did he mean the First Order? They had an Embassy in Chasin City. If they were tipping people off about where to steal Commenor's resources, then she'd have to have a few harsh words with their Grand Moff.

But he could have meant some other Order entirely. Jedi, Sith, some other incarnation of bounty hunters. Kay had to know. "And what Order is this?" If he wasn't going to talk willingly, she had ways of making him do so.

Seeing that the queen held her hand up to silence [member="Khrelan Arke"], he would respond to Lady Kay's questions. The first one she asked was pressing on the fact of what the Templar was looking for. By the Maker, Lady Kay annoyed the teen.

He took a deep breath as he thought about her guards beating the crap out of him until he gave the info she was looking for. Wolfgang kicked the ground as he broke the woman's eye contact.

"Um I dunno, some kind of crystals or gems...Very um...How you say.... Unique." He'd say as he brought his gaze back to [member="Lady Kay"].

He didn't notice it before, but her stance wavered when he mentioned the Order. Something Fang wasn't expecting. He would tilt his head.

"The Order of the Righteous Flame..." He'd say pridefully.

He looked to Akay and grinned.

"I am a guardian simple as that..." He'd say.

Khrelan Arke

Khrelan wisely shut his mouth, staying silent as he simply listened and observed their conversation from the sidelines.

Eyes narrowed at absolutely nothing when [member="Wolfgang"] answered the woman and he could tell the queen was taken aback too. The Order? The First Order? No way unless they started hiring kids who used a bow and arrow instead of a blaster. They were low, but not that low. The Order of the Silver Jedi? He gave the kid a once over and nearly snorted. Nah, the kid was no Jedi. Then scratch the One Sith Order.

Akay's blue green eyes caught the teen's gaze once, Khrelan's only holding an unreadable look in them before the kid returned to looking at [member="Lady Kay"].

Now he was prideful. And grinning like someone had suddenly given him a million worth of credits.

Ah, so the Order of the Righteous Flame. Never heard of it.

The Chrysopaz gemstones. That's what [member="Wolfgang"] was after. And it wasn't just for jewelry. Only Force users would seek them out for their 'unique' attributes.

The Order of the Righteous Flame? Sounded like some gang. And if Wolfgang was some kind of guardian for them, then no doubt it was just a rag tag group of youths that roam the Galaxy stealing from others and building a name for themselves. "Can't say that I've ever heard of them. But you certainly won't be stealing from me." She crumpled up the drawing into her palm and kept her fist closed tight. "Tell the leader of your Order that if they want the gemstones, they'll have to come to me. As I said, stealing from the Queen is a capital offence. Next time, you won't get off so lightly."

Kay stepped off of his credits and stood back, turning her head now to [member="Khrelan Arke"] . "And as for you....I'll give you one chance to leave willingly. But your tools remain here."

She didn't trust him, either of them. Their sudden appearance and interest in the gemstones gave her reason to be concerned. Who else will be showing up? Kay had to put a stop to it.

What kind of a name was the Order of the Righteous Flame? Sounded like some sort of cult or religion to him. It didn't seem very famous, as neither he nor the queen heard of it before.

The queen berated the kid for attempting to steal from her again, implying the consequences of committing a capital offense. She should've been chastising him too, but the smuggler liked to think his charm and clever words kept the queen from doing that to him.

Khrelan kept the confident smile plastered across his lips as [member="Lady Kay"] ordered him to leave the equipment here or be..taken to prison maybe? He nodded at her and drew his hands out of his pockets. "Of course, of course," he began with a good natured chuckle, smooth as silk. But, he wasn't to keen on having to replaced his tools. "They're mostly tools for fixing ships, robots, you know, engineering tools, but I'll leave them here if you insist." And they were, if you knew how to use them a certain way.

Small gestures accompanied his words before, at the end, his hands returned inside his pockets.

Wolfgang smirked, it was normal for people to not know who the Order was, they were based on Alderaan and served the Maker there. Wolfgang had yet to meet the Divine, but he was still loyal. She w it on to say that if they wanted the gems then their Knight commander would have to speak with her directly. He would begin to give a light chuckle when she said that.

"You misunderstand madam, I only came to map out your wonderful mines." The teen would say as he began to collect his things off the ground.

He would watch as Lady Kay talked to AK she gave him a chance to leave and Wolfgang frowned. Especially when he submitted to the queen's wishes.

"What's to stop me from finding another entrance and using it?" He'd ask as he stood up and crossed his arms.

"Yes, I insist." Did she believe [member="Khrelan Arke"] ? Not in the slightest. At least certainly not about the set of tools.

Kay turned her attention back to [member="Wolfgang"] while he spoke. The youth was defiant, yet so was she. And he was quite stubborn. She was worse. She raised a brow as he basically told her that he'd be coming back regardless of what she said. It was a dangerous game that he was playing. The very fact that a group of foreigners wanted her mines mapped out was disturbing. It could all be a part of a larger plot to invade.

She narrowed her eyes as she stepped towards him. "What's to stop me from sending you back to your leaders, one piece at a time?"

Khrelan Arke

"Yes, ma'am," the words came out nonchalantly with a dip of a nod of his head.

The kid was stupidly defiant again, retorting in the old 'make me' style. He could practically hear the words ring in his head: 'Make me stay away from your mines'. But Khrelan had to cut the kid some slack; he was the same around a decade ago during his grant time with the First Order, outwardly rebellious with authorities, if not more.

And that quality still remained in him, but he knew when to say things, what to say, and how to say them.

Khrelan stooped down on one knee, watching [member="Lady Kay"] exchange her threat to the boy as he moved aside the extraction equipment to dump the rest back in his satchel. He stopped the chuckle from leaving his throat as he hefted it on his shoulder.

Wolfgang was silent as [member="Lady Kay"] spoke to [member="Khrelan Arke"]. Even more so when the queen said what was stopping her from sending him home one piece at a time, that's when Fang cracked a bit. A sharp gasp would be heard as Wolfgang heard the threat. A bit of fear would be apparent on Fang's face. He stayed silent as he thought of an answer. He backed off from his defiant attitude.

"Um....Um....I-I don't know." The teen would say as he gulped. He would let his gaze fall to the ground he would bring his hands to his pockets and nervously move around the credits. Each making a clink as they hit each other.

Fang brought apologetic eyes up to Lady Kay. He didn't let people get to him often, but when he did it hit him hard. He tended to forget the power a queen had, if she wanted to kill him she could... Easily in fact especially if her guards were posted mere minutes away.

He would look to AK then quickly back to the ground.

Kay stared hard at [member="Wolfgang"] while his defiance faltered. As she expected, it was just a cocky front that so many his age had. Despite this sudden change, she still had a lot of questions that needed answers.

She stepped back from the youth and then looked to [member="Khrelan Arke"] , noting how he did as he was told. That was a good thing. Yet still, she had questions for him as well that also needed answers. Her eyes closed for a second or two, allowing her Force signature to be present long enough for her to send a quick telepathic message to her guards further down the passage. She then looked to the two intruders and clasped her hands together, the crumpled drawing still within one of her hands. "Gentlemen, I have decided to invite you for supper. So....let us go somewhere much more comfortable." Kay gestured with a nod of her head for the two to lead the way, confident that her guards would meet up with them part way. "Shall we?"

The kid was learning, that's was good. Learning faster than he did at that age.

Khrelan's lips fell into a polite smile at the queen's offer, teal eyes gently settling on hers for a moment, before he turned his head back to [member="Wolfgang"] . He smoothly stuck a hand out, gesturing for the boy to go ahead first while he snapped his leather belt holster onto his waist. They weren't let off just yet and it was a careful but dangerous game they were playing, made even more difficult by the kid.

But, with each match he won or lost, a new experience was to be made.

"No qualms there, my Lady," he replied after he made sure it was secure, "I'd be delighted to join you for supper."

The queen had offered supper....Who the hell used the term "supper." Wolfgang smiled. He was never one for refined speech. She put her arm forward and opened a way for the two males to walk through, Wolfgang looked to [member="Khrelan Arke"] who put his hand out allowing the tattooed boy to go first.

Fang took a hesitant step past [member="Lady Kay"] and in the direction she had her arm pointed. He didn't say a word there were to many things running through the his head, mostly about where they were going. What if the queen was leading them to their demise...Public execution....Trapped in a dungeon, or the worst punishment yet, tattooed removal. Very painful and with the amount of tattoos Fang had, no doubt he'd be screaming in agony.

He shook his head, who knew it could be just a dinner. He removed his hands from his pockets and kept his head forward.

"So AK....Those were some pretty nice tools..." He would grin as he put emphasis on the word were.

Kay waited until both [member="Khrelan Arke"] and [member="Wolfgang"] were ahead of her before she moved. Normally one of her station would be in front, but she couldn't trust the two and she wanted to be sure that the tools were left behind. Once they were ahead of her by a few paces, she then followed.

The two were invested in smalltalk when Kay's two guards met up with them, blaster rifles in hand, but not aimed. She called up ahead to them. "Is the transporter ready? I found these two -tourists- inside. Apparently they got lost...Send the probe droids down and have them sweep the tunnels in case there are any more. In the meantime, these two are to ride with us to the Palace. Send word ahead to have the....guest rooms prepared."

"Understood, my Queen."

Her orders were sent through the channels as the transport arrived. Kay climbed in first and took a seat, while AK and Wolfgang were 'politely' nudged along to go inside. The two guards then followed suit before the door to the transport closed. There was room inside for a dozen people, but right now there was only the four of them, plus the driver in a different compartment.

Kay looked to her two guests as she took her seat. "So...Is there anyone that should be contacted to know of your whereabouts?"

Khrelan took a glance back at [member="Lady Kay"] and his tools before following after the kid, catching up with a few long strides of his legs. He noticed the kid's face was etched with concern, most likely thinking of the supper and the many possible outcomes. Then came the comment about the tools and the smuggler's lips quirked into a half smile half smirk.

"You betcha they were but they're replaceable too. Not very hard to find, especially in the Core worlds," he shrugged what meant to be a mocking statement off.

Harsh sunlight greeted his face and he blinked a few times, taking a moment for cerulean eyes to adjust from the semi darkness of the caves to the intense light out here. He inwardly snorted at the 'tourist' part of the queen's orders then raised a mostly curious eyebrow at the pause before the last three words which completed the sentence. Guest rooms his ass. He looked around at the duo of well built guards when they stopped short of the transport, wondering how hard it would be to take them down if need be.

Khrelan nearly tripped over the ledge of the transport as one guard shoved him forward, none too gently with the butt of his blaster rifle. His hands lazily flew up as he found his footing again. "Hey, man, cool it a bit, all right? No need to do that, mister," he put it out there. Glances to his right told him [member="Wolfgang"] was subjected to the same treatment.

The half-Manahaim sank down into his seat. "Nada, my Queen," he replied then looked at Fang. "Your parents must be worried sick," he teased with a grin flashed the teen's way, "You have anyone?"
