This Place Gives Me Flashbacks (Rawnie)

Lor shrugged as the last of the bandage came off, with a strange sound as dried blood came un-stuck from the back of his head. Ow. He tossed the thing in the trash and felt the back of his head. Oh, good, most of the blood in his hair was still wet. He walked over to the kitchen and stuck his head in the sink, turning on the faucet and talking as he rinsed the blood out.
"Well, one side will eventually kill the other, and most planets aren't like Csilla. A civil war, even a small one, on Onderon will get noticed. So, we'll be more than able to sit back and wait for news of this when we get out of here."

The blonde nodded at this. He had a point. Once they were off world, it was none of their business anymore. They could keep tabs on it though, wait until things had cooled down. Rawnie would so hate to lose this planet. She got good work from this world. Good legal work. Well paying.

"In a few hours, I'll take off. That should be enough time for them to lose our trail, I think. In the mean time... do you think it's safe for you to sleep yet?"

Lorane nodded. He didn't seem to be concussed, and he wasn't still bleeding or dizzy.
"Yeah, I'll just crash out on the couch for a while."

"No, no," she said, shaking her head, "Take the bed. You'll be more comfortable."

And while he was sleeping, she could plan their rout to... somewhere. Their next adventure. The next job.

Lorane rolled his eyes as he walked back over to the couch and started flipping through channels on the holo.
"Meh. More things to occupy me out here."

Her worry was apparent on her face, but she said nothing more. While he kept himself awake, ignoring herb advice to sleep and rest, she'd figure out a next move. She sat down at the very edge of the couch, giving him enough room still to lay down if he wanted. Without speaking of what she was doing, she pulled out her data pad, researching leads, job postings and news. Of course the attack had been this planets headline. She'd expected that. Then job she'd refused to do had been done anyway by someone else now. But she still had a clear conscious about the whole thing. It was worth more to her than the credits she would have gotten to do it.
