Always keep your eyes on your opponent's eyes. That's what Shaw always told her. They would help in letting her know where the next strike would be, left, right, up, down. As [member="Lord Mythos"] paced around her, she met and held his gaze, keeping her blade up in a ready position. She could almost see the tendrils of blackness surrounding him as she allowed herself to open up a little to the Force. His blade was met with her own as he swung to her hip, and when his blade arched to the other side, she countered with a flick of her wrist. However the strength in his second blow caught her by surprise. She leaned forward on her stance to counterbalance herself so that she wouldn't fall over.
That seemed to have worked, until he took her blaster away and aimed it at her. Still Kay met his gaze as she got herself into a defensive stance. It was disturbing to see him holding such a weapon at her, but there was always the chance that she would have an encounter like this with him in the future, only with deadly consequences. Fortunately she knew that her blaster was always set to stun, for she never killed. But that didn't mean that she wouldn't try.
Why was it taking so long? Why won't he just fire?? And then he did. Kay swung her saber to deflect it, but also fell to her right to get out of the way.
This was going to be a long practice session. Or a short one, depending on his patience.
