Actually, beskar'kandar is canonically "nearly impervious" to lightsabers. Also, the reason why beskar is lightsaber resistant is because it has a really high melting point. I've read novels where blaster fire does nothing except impact on beskar (kinetic impact still gets through. It's kinda like wearing ballistic armor and getting shot. You're alive, but there's gonna be a bruise) and where lightsabers spend a looooong time to cut through beskar and burn out the seemingly infinite power pack of the lightsaber itself.

That`s why you would possibly cook in it, as it would not absorb the heat. Like invar the it has really high smelting point. It why use it as a thermostat in ovens. So beskar would not in itself cool you, you need a secondary system to remove the heat from you.
Though because your type of lizard, it may make you over active and possibly move faster. Then again it could cook you, due to your sheer mass.
Though their would be some sort inbuilt cooling system, what can not be damaged I am sure to avoid that question.
