Book 1: I Have More Muscles Than You! My Power Level Is Over 9000! [Protectorate Military and the Pyre]

The machine waved Noah off to keep him standing down,
"We need to work on our image in Galaxy a bit, if we will be seen as some space jockeys who just shoot everyone we do not like in the face then we would not be much different than the Sith."
He would lean closer to Noah whispering to him,
"Besides we do this peacefully we can demote them and make them live out the rest of their lives as janitors."
The machine would look back to the meathead space racists then,
"But our Colonel does have a point, you are outnumbered and outgunned, we have ships in orbit which can glass your city in few shots. You are not in position of power here."
One of the Imperials scoffed and the rest chortled,
"Just because you have toys does not mean you're stronger, yah? Give a child a gun and they too would be able to kill if they pull the trigger."
The Imperial folded his arm over his chest, watching the Protectorate delegation,
"You show us that you have what it takes behind the gun to protect our lands, yah?"
The machine shrugged, getting frustrated as well, plus writing these caricatures made the writer feel dirty,
"Then tell us your challenge, like I said, we will meet it."
"Foight us!"
The Imperial called back and the rest of his steroid beings agreed in a cheer, their muscles straining in show of more muscle mass,
"Your best fighters against our best fighters, hand to hand combat and non lethal methods only, brawl until we see who is the last one standing."
The machine stood there calculating the demands, looking to his companions before back to the Imperials for a double-take, although the Imperial delegation was much bigger than theirs (meaning they had more NPC "Elite fighters" than we had PC's) it just meant there was more of them to fight.
The droid would ask Ven, Aeron, and Noah,
"You up for it? Kicking their asses old fashion way with bare fists? If they try anything wrong it is not like we do not have snipers stationed in the hills or ships overhead."
Finally they would be able to get back at them for being annoying, sole reason why they were written as they were.

"Alright, if you are sure, but you know it really seems like it could be waterborne, it is widespread enough."
The droid responded to Nyos to nudge him towards the storyline this writer has drafted for the dominion.
Anyway,
Nyos would be able to gather from the locals that the system there functioned similar to ancient feudal systems and the locals grew their own food in fields of rice and wheat outside of the slums, many of which were being watered from the same source, perhaps there was something in the water of soil of these fields that contaminated their crops?
He would also learn that only enough to survive would be kept by the poor, the rest would be forcibly taken by the nearby cities as form of taxes and protection.

The droid was about to translate that before he turned away from the Ewoks to Jenna, planting his hand on her shoulder,
"Jenna, you are not big, you are perfectly fine size, and you should have enough confidence to not describe yourself as that. I am also sorry for the double-standard of society we live in where such importance is put on woman's looks rather than her personality."
He would motion her closer then, spreading his arms out,
"Come on, give me a hug."
Before this could fully turn into a PBS after-school special from HK's misunderstanding of what Jenna meant, one of the irritated Ewoks tried to jab his spear in the droid's back, nudging him instead as the little being yipped and made "Yub-yub" noises in Ewokese, the machine looked back to him before translating to others,
"They want us to come with them so their shamans and chieftain can judge us. He says we have little choice."
