TSE needs to attract/retain Force insensitives

Others are welcomed to follow suit as well if they wish to establish a strong Force-insensitive presence - especially those from the Imperial Remnant. I hope to establish some things such as Moffs, Admirals, and Generals while getting the rest of the community's input.

And just so you guys get the first word of it, Moff titles are coming to SWRP.net!

I would personally be glad if you brought him over. Yet, I understand having too many characters on your plate at one time is an issue. Even I try to keep the number of characters I have to be very low.

Well, some of mine just come out when I want to bring them out. Sirada, KORAH, and Kaia for example. The others I'm more active with. I can make it work as long as I'm not in 50 threads with each character.

One step ahead of you on the Moff things, App :3
You don't know how much I appreciate you being a Moff, sir! I'm glad you decided to join as a Force-insensitive. I believe we can work some things our for how to create a better environment for them at TSE.

@[member="Radon Mont"], do whatever makes you most comfortable, and is more fun to you. If you're unable to bring out Mason, I wouldn't complain (I'd cry and write sad entries about it in my diary), but I know it's easy to not have fun by juggling tons of characters and threads because of feeling as if it's needed.

Thanks, thought I should make a non-force sensy since Kaine has gone coocoo for cocoa puffs, and I always liked the Moff position.

(Note, this is all IC. I know I've not exactly been active with this character, but I think the other side needs to be spoken.)

I see.

This talk of changing out name is just obscuring the truth. We are the Sith. Non-Force users may work for us, but they are our inferiors. Why? Can any of them crush us with a gesture? Can any of them summon lightning from their hands to destroy us? No. But we can do it to them. We use the Force, chosen to wield it by the Dark Side, and we are superior. So hiding our power serves no purpose.

The Sith seek power. Power over others and over themselves. The concept of discipline and respect is utterly alien to a Sith. We do not strike only because there are those stronger than us to keep us in line. The Empress seized the throne in battle, as it should be. We are not the Republic or the Jedi who lets their 'laws' and 'processes' control these things. The Sith are, and always have been, the most powerful and most ruthless beings in the galaxy. There is need for hierarchy, of course, but I will not be talked down to by some Force blind servant, no matter what rank he has!

Slavery is a necessary and desirable condition for the scum of the galaxy. If they will not serve willingly, they will be forced.

Ahem. On the other hand, I see why we would want to attract more NFUs. The important thing though is not to lose sight of the fact that we are the Sith Empire...and that anyone involved serves the interests of the Sith alone. We're not a constitutional monarchy.

Is that so? It does make you wonder why one of the few only successful Sith in history (Palpatine/Sidious) valued order and discipline over chaos. Can't help but thinking that it's beliefs like that are a twisted perspective in Sith ideology, derived from common practice rather than true adherence.

Order and discipline are the two things provided by a strong, cohesive structure, that when imposed create peace. And these things can only exist when there is a strong, clear hierarchy in place dedicated to that goal - and thus can never truly be provided by a Republic, where everyone has a voice and can argue every minor detail. You can only gain an ordered society when a strong hierarchy requires it of those at every stage: allegiance and obedience to the upper echelons create that discipline and establish peace. That was the idea behind Palpatine's Empire, and I think that's the core of what it is to be Sith - but who to impose this order? The strongest and smartest, of course, those with the vision and power to handle threats and impose that discipline on those weaker than themselves.

Darth Sidious ensured discipline by having only one Sith who could challenge him...and Vader was a crippled shell. He was broken and no threat until the end.
Here, we have many Sith. The crown has been usurped twice, and if her highness ever slips it will be usurped again by another. As it should be.

You will note though that Sidious and Vader were above all force blind servants in THEIR Empire. Later with Krayt it was so also. The Sith are special, chosen by the Force and their own will to be the most formidable users of the Force in the galaxy. We are not about creating an 'equitable' society, leave that wishy-washy nonsense to the Republic and the Jedi. We are about power, and our servants and enemies will learn this!

Peace will be established by the power of the leadership and the obedience of the masses. That obedience can be created by fear or greed, but not at the expense of our power!

As long as said peace is established, that's the main concern. Sith recognise that society isn't equitable anyway, but an Empire doesn't fall apart the way a Republic will, simply because the infighting between species tends to be surprised from above, as it should be. Maintaining the peace and keeping order in the Empire should always be a foremost concern - though it certainly becomes harder when there's plenty of infighting in the upper ranks of the Sith! Hardly setting a good example there... :p

The Dark Side of the Force is destructive, not constructive. What we build, we build with discord and our power...not with harmony and peace.

We maintain a united front to the masses, and fight for power amongst ourselves. It is how it must be.

So if you have all of these laws in place, where would a character like mine who I made to have fun with the Dark Side and play that evil character? I understand where you're coming from in an IC sense, but OOC I'm questioning if you're cutting out the evil that some people RP a Sith for, how would you handle that?
