Tunnel Vision: Clans of Mandalore Dominion of Vortex

Adenn grinned at [member="Aditya Fitz Kierke"]'s words, and when she offered to cuddle, he did cuddle with her. Then the past was mentioned and Adenn withdrew into himself, until she pressed her forehead against his. With that simple act, Adenn was fully focused on her, and though his helmet was on, he hoped that his care and love for her was understood. He nodded as she spoke, she was the best and so, so very loveable, and Adenn did love her.
"Being with you is gift enough, c'yare." At the mention of the triplets, Adenn laughed gently. He was looking forward to that, and he showed it by gently rubbing her belly with care.

As Calyr sniffs her, Adenn looks on fondly, grinning behind his helmet. When she pets the dragon, Adenn snorts softly.
"Here, do this." He scratches a part of Calyr's neck, right under the jaw. "He loves it when one scratches him there." Even as he said that, Calyr's tail was thumping slightly on the ground, and the dragon had a blissful expression on its face, tongue hanging out slightly. Removing his hand so Aditya can do it if she wants, Adenn smiles beneath his helmet.

Then he helps her climb up onto the dragon. Smiling at her excitement, Adenn idly wonders what the children's reactions would be like. When she says she's "readyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," Calyr takes off. Still grinning at her excitement, he laughs as she learns to keep her mouth shut by catching a bug. Poking her side in amusement, Adenn reaches into a pouch on his back for a situation similar to this, within that pouch was a black and red face mask. Reaching forward, Adenn held it out in front of her, keeping a strong grip on it to ensure that it wouldn't fly away. Then, whispering into her ear, Adenn spoke softly, but still loud enough to be heard.
"Here, take this, it'll protect your mouth and nothing should get in. I should've given it earlier, I'm sorry but I forgot in the heat of the moment."

Keeping his other arm wrapped around Aditya, Adenn takes in the view. It's beautiful, and if it weren't so windy, it'd be easy to just stay up there forever. However, thanks to the wind, they were being pushed around. Thankfully Calyr managed to keep them balanced and glided semi-easily in the buffeting winds. As Aditya calls for the pilots to engage, Adenn laughs again. The experience for him was extremely fun, and he didn't want it to end. When she mentioned a specific fighter, Adenn zoomed in on it, keeping Calyr relatively steady. Gazing into the cockpit, he was surprised to spot [member="Sterling Kinslayer"] in the cockpits seat.
"It's Sterling... how that one got permission to fly is beyond me, but we'll see how it goes."

With that, Adenn steered Calyr away from where the fight was going to occur. Even if it wasn't a real battle, Adenn didn't want to risk getting Aditya or Calyr hurt in the fighting, even if the weapons were toned down. Because Aditya was new to the whole dragon flying, Adenn merely had Calyr fly around, making some sharp turns, going up and down and side to side. The wind hardly helped, but it would be good if they ever flew somewhere with calmer weather. Grinning the entire time, Adenn kept an arm locked around Adityas waist, making sure to keep her close, but also not be too tight.
"So Aditya, ready for the next step? Some loops, rolls, and other more interesting maneuvers?" Adenn chuckled, thinking of several tricks he could do with her that wouldn't be too dangerous.

What're you gonna do? Kill me?
“… huh! Well, alright then… good dragon…” Maybe scritching a dragon on the neck isn’t the strangest thing I’ve done, but it’s close to it.

Flight!

Hovering on air currents with nothing but a dragon and a pair of arms for leverage against the eternal fall. Is there nothing more beautiful than the sky? It’s exhilarating and breathtaking all at once. I hear cackling laughter and know it’s mine.

The thrill! The bugs! The winds in my hair, oh goodness gracious me, I’ll be a mess by the time we get back down. About the only time I’ll ever be sad about not wearing a helmet. The mask is worth it, even if it’s not the most fashionable thing I’ve seen. Mandos… they’re function people.

“Pbbththh thanks. Patooie!” I spit out a bug, winching just in case the wind sends the spit back at us…. NNNNOPE! Okay we’re good! I’m definitely good, his arm is around me, and so help me it can stay there all day. Give my freaking back a rest, does he have any idea of the back strain triplets brings to a woman?

Sheesh. I should build him a plastic belly and make him lug it around for sympathy. Calyr’s doing what I expect is a good job of keeping us aloft without much fuss, even in the winds. The mask slips on easy and breathing comes a little better.

“Sterling!? The iguana man!? Who in the hoakey host of hog-wild Hothians gave him a ship??” Why am I suddenly worried about this plan? “Oh you better believe your sweet aunt bippy I’m ready, we’re gonna need them evasive maneuvers once he gets going. C’mon! C’mon! Show me, show me! I’m old, bored and beautiful!”

Mig smiled as [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] took her seat. Mig quickly went to the command chair as he watched everyone take off.

"Hey, I'm sure you wouldn't crash it." He then watched as [member="Sterling Kinslayer"] flew by in his fighter. Mig tilted his head, trying to make sense of it. It looked like a Viper, but it was different. The basic shape was there, but things had been change. He then chuckled as the fighter did a drift through the air. "I don't know who gave that pilot a fighter like that. Can't imagine she's any easier to fly in the blue then a Viper." Lidden just nodded.

"Yeah. There ain't no way it's easier then thos... wait. Got something from Aditya." As she said this, [member="Aditya Fitz Kierke"] began the little competition. Lidden noticed all the drones that showed up and smiled. Mig looked at all of them too, then looked around the bridge.

"Ok: Lidden, focus on the drones. Tamar, Neric, watch for fighters. H'Rec, keep the dummy torpedoes ready. Varactyl Leader and Varactyl Two, just go wild. It's on now." And with that, the Enigma and fighters broke off, beginning to pick targets. Lidden soon line up some fire, letting the turbolasers loose on some drones.

Noah Corek

Cocked, Locked and a Smoking Barrel
Factory Judge
Location: Cathedral of Wind
Objective: Wack Some Mobsters
Allies: [member="Yasha Cadera"] - [member="Skorvek"] - [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"]

Noah followed up behind Yasha as they walked down the street. For this mission Noah had foregone his typical rifle and decided on a more long range option. His personal custom sniper rifle was cradled in his arms, scoped perched on top and suppressor screwed onto the end of the barrel. Still cradling the rifle in his arms his eyes began to scan the rooftops around them, being ever vigilant. While scanning his eyes caught a couple of gangsters with blaster rifles.

Keying his comm to the squad channel Noah spoke into it. "Watch your heads people we've got some gangsters up top." Shutting his comm down for the time being Noah went from cradling his rifle to grip the grip and foregrip and putting the stock against his shoulder. He didn't raise the barrel, letting Yasha wait to give the word.

“Yes Sir!” [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] ’s fingers jittered on the firing controls as her trip in [member="Mig Gred"]’s ship became a synthetic war zone. Scanning the targeting computer for her first potential shot, Tamar blinked and looked up.

“I’m terrible at piloting! You should have seen my Master’s face once, when I had to evacuate my lot of children from Dromund Kaas! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the Empress Saijo go pale!” A giggle peppered out of her as she gripped the controls and flicked to a narrower beam. “No wonder he got rid of me, come to think...”

A dud. That’s what she’d been. A dud of a wet nurse. Better for it, thought Tamar! If she’d been too useful, would she have been sent at all? Ten years in Mandalorian space, and Tamar couldn’t help the grin on her face.

“I was always terrible at piloting skills. Never had the attention span or astrophysics for it.” The grin turned from excitement to calm, as Tamar took up her turret controls, armed them and winked up at Mig. “Fighter, veering in! Looks like Dauphin! Target acquired.”

Tamar let loose with a blast from her turret, as the sensors lit up with a confirmed hit.

“… I was always too distracted by an insatiable urge to man the weapons.”

“Noa’ik? Have I mentioned the fact that I love how much time you’re spending with us Mandos?” Yasha grinned as the shield activated, then deactivated in quick succession. Just enough to see the flow.

“In that event, I will buy you whatever time you need, Star.” The Mand’alor watched [member="Kaine Australis"] move off to the other side, taking half of the Clan Australis forces with him. Her heart leapt in her chest to see her riduur go off on his mission around back, knowing the odds of his mission going right were stacked harder against now they separated.

‘By Manda, be careful you old fool.’ Yasha sent him the message on their private channel, a muttered whisper from a loving spouse. He’d caused enough trouble in his time, yet Yasha knew she would never let go.

“That’s our contingency, let’s focus on not letting the priceless building fall down, shall we?” Yasha pursed her lips under her helm, and strolled forward beside [member="Skorvek"] and [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"] .

[member="Noah Corek"] called first sight, and Yasha sent a click through the communal comm to let him know she heard it.

“Noa’ik, do you see a position up top you could feasibly take?” Having his eyes might be the shift they needed, but time was not for them. A gust of wind carried with it the sounds of boots, and two men standing in the main entrance with durasteel chest plates and scattershot canons propped on their shoulders.

“Oy, oy! ‘Ello tin’eads!” Sleppo grinned and spat a wad of chewing ‘leaf at the Mandalorians’ feet. “How can we, lowly merchants, service your Mandahoovian googliness this fine and blustry day?”

“Blustry day!” Glen peppered.

“Now, you wouldn’t be takin’ our place here in dis ‘ere temple we… ah… legally acquired, would ya?” Sleppo spread his stance, jutting out his hips in an effort to appear intimidating.

“Be a shame…” Glen said.

“A cryin’ shame…” Sleppo grinned, tapping the nearest wall of the Cathedral with a knuckle. “… if this ‘ere location were… brought t’ribbons by jack-booted tinhat wearing thugs. Vors ain’t gonna be peaches ‘bout it. So! How’s ya need? Whatcher’gon buy afore you venture out-ways?”

Beside the Mandalorians, Yasha groaned and smacked the side of her helm.

“… What the blazes did that mook say? Is… anyone else getting nothing out of their translator? By Manda’s many voiced choir…” Sighing audibly, Yasha stepped forward, and shook her mighty head.

What? Sir, are you having a seizure!? Do you require medical attention for your vocal slur? Is your left side going numb?”

Sleppo stopped short. “… she f’real? I’s’a speakin’ all polite-like an’normative! Oy! Don’be gropin’ wrong at th’gate ‘ere missy!”

Rolling her left shoulder with a huff, Yasha turned her head briefly toward Skorvek, Stardust and Noah.

“Anyone? Can anyone here understand a word he’s saying?” She spoke in Mando’a.

Adenn nodded as Aditya spoke about his dragon, while Calyrs reaction wasn't so subdued. The scratching from someone other than Adenn was new to him, and subsequently somehow nicer for him. Calyr crooned at the scratching, tilting its head further to allow for more access. His tail was also thumping rather loudly, causing Adenn to chuckle a bit more and pat his back. Shortly after that, they're in the air, soaring high.

As she thanks him for the mask, Adenn merely pats her side again with his free hand before returning it to its prior position. When she spits the bug out, Adenn watches as it flies past them, thankfully missing him. Hugging her slightly tighter, Adenn rests his head on her shoulder, still allowing room for her to lean against him, while he keeps an arm wrapped around her waist. He laughs as she talks about Sterling and asks who gave him a ship.
"I wish I knew cyar'ika, probably someone thought if he can fly it, then anyone can fly it."

When she says she's ready to step it up, Adenn grins and tightens his hold on her without hurting her, to make sure she won't fall.
"Get ready then cyar'ika." He whispers to her before starting. Pulling back on the reigns, Calyr turned upwards, flying ever higher while spinning around himself. Then, when it seemed they couldn't go further, Calyr fell over backwards and dove down through the atmosphere. He had his wings slightly extended, so it wasn't a full dive, but rather a quick descent, and astride him sat Adenn, still doing his best to hug Aditya close to himself. As they descend, Calyr spins around, going into wider and wider loops before flattening out on a straight plane again.
"Do you want some more?"

Grinning beneath his helmet, Adenn hoped Aditya had fun with what they'd just done, but didn't want to go too quickly. Thus he wanted her opinion, keep going, or do something else. Because Adenn had some more tricks up his sleeve.

Mig chuckled a bit at [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] as she started firing. It was nice to see that she was enjoying manning the turret, but he was then surprised by Lidden snapping the corvette into a roll and fired the turbolasers. He then looked to see a fighter scream by them, and eyed Lidden.

"Who the heck was that manic!?"

"Not sure. He registered a couple of hits, but nothing that'd knock us out of this. He's nut's though." Mig just huffed as the Enigma turned back in to engage more targets. The Gred Vipers meanwhile we're doing their best to handle the already trick fighter in the winds.

Objective 2: Remove Threats at the Cathedral
Far side of Vortex, Overwatch In Nearby Buildings
Full Loadout, Combat Ready
EDfUZH1.gif

Vhei had arrived fashionably late as she did everywhere she went. Few had noticed her before she had arrived, and no one had seen her following behind the war party. she was quiet when seeing folk for the first time is all, She'd use this little adventure as a way to break the Ice later. she had been following from about 10 meters away until she changed course, dropping to the ground as she entered a prone position, crawling up one of the many purple colored hills in the area until she was in a prime firing position, hidden away in the strange grass that covered the landscape.

She peers through the scope of her DLT-19d, watching the "Meeting" between the mand'alor and the local lowlifes. she had never seen the mand'alor personally before, in fact this was the first time she had been near her fellow mandalorians since yavin 4. It was quite the sight. Vhei couldn't hear anything from her, but judging by the mand'alor's body language, she was clearly annoyed..
In her experience, If a commander was annoyed, It usually meant that the opposition were throwing around insults. how different this would feel if she had heard, and known that their galactic basic was simply so broken, that the mand'alor was having trouble understanding it. Nevertheless, Vhei always expected the worst from people, and prepared thusly. with a subtle *click, click* She props up the bipods and turns her safety off. she lines up "Sleppo" in her sights and waits, ready to fire at the earliest sign of enemy aggression.

Objective 2 Fighting the mobsters

Why was she here? A very good reason she hated when the strong tried to break the weak. Her upbringing on Tatooine had instilled in her that hatred. How her foster parent had abused her until Arrbi got her out. Now..she felt, well in her own mind she wanted to champion freedom for the Vors.

She was very quiet right now she had training as a sniper, and able to move through the streets thanks to her the man who saw her as a sister.

She could fight some too thanks to the other Garon brother, who if she was honest she missed. She liked having friends over the years friends had disappeared, changed, and took the long walk into darkness.

She looked at her armor it needed a bit of upgrading but it would do what was needed.

Objective 2 Fighting the mobsters

He shook his head to [member="Yasha Cadera"] when she asked but he could assume so he responded to her in Mandoa.

I believe he thinks to intimidate us by thinking we wont deal with them without risking the safety of the Cathedral, Would you like me to prove them wrong?

He had several abilities at this time that he could use to teach the mobster's taunting them but he will wait for permission in case Mand'alor has another plan in mind either way the objective was clear, Deal with these people without dealing much damage to the Cathedral if these gangsters no doubt will try and inflict there own damage on it depending how we handle them.

As for his fellow vode he sent text's to there hud's and devices to hold till given instruction and get ready for a fight.

[member="Arla Balor"] [member="Vhei Wasp Naudir"] [member="Noah Corek"]

Right then, fly time. He'd figure this out... he cracked his knuckles and did the only logical thing he could think of. Kick the engine into high gear, and fly straight into combat. Which caused him to lean back as his fighter went as fast as it could in the windy atmosphere, pressing every button he could think of to try and not only fire the 'weapons', but manage the fact he was panicking immediately. It was fortunate for everyone he had accidentally turned off his ability to speak to other pilots, only able to hear what others told him, or they'd hear the distressed sounds of an angry lizard man. From the outside it was a far different picture.

Despite clearly not knowing what he was doing from his less panicked flight into formation, the man was hitting just the right buttons to at least stay capable. The fighter, with the drift thrusters running the sides, was going through the air without much a car. The fake targets were being pinged by flurries of fire from both sides, and Sterling had some part to play there. However, despite slowly learning how to use the thrusters to drift through the air, and line targets up while turning, he had no idea how to turn the engines down.

Which caused a problem as he watched one fighter scream by the opposing team's corvette. Well then, he was reminded the rules. Since he couldn't exactly stop, and these droid targets were no fun, he grinned and did the only logical thing. Turning the ship around, he aimed at the space above [member="Mig Gred"]'s corvette, and blasted at maximum speed. When he was close enough, at least he guessed close enough, he hit the drift thrusters on the left side, banked and tried to drift across the top of the enigma and score a few shots before going down past it.

What're you gonna do? Kill me?
“Hahah! I think he likes us.” I watch Calyr’s tail thumb and can’t help the grin and the laugh, the dragon is such a strange creature.

“Aaaahhahaha!” The air explodes round us, all that’s keeping me in this saddle being my feet in the stirrups and [member="Adenn Kyramud"]’s arm around my bloated stomach.

Flying is freedom. The closest any can get to the divine, if any such being exists. I have my research to the contrary, even disproved Manda, but don’t let these believers around me know it.

“…. he can’t fly it. Gawsh, get me close enough, I’ll hop in and take the yoke! Or I would, if I didn’t have three babies in the front seat.” Tapping my bump, and Adenn’s arm nestled around it, I can’t help the grin under my mask.

The Mandalorians are veering round, and Calyr is doing mighty fine to dodge any possible harm. Course the swarm droids know better than to mess with their programmer. Turn them all into toasters, or trouser presses and see how they like it.

Make them pass butter, they’ll never feel joy again.

Calyr begins a series of acrobatics, and all I can hear is the wind… and my own voice crying out in utter ecstatic joy. This is bar none the best day of my new life thus far. I’m riding on a dragon with wind in my hair, judging others’ piloting and shooting skills!

I get to be snarky!

“More! More, come on, Calyr! Show me some action!” Keeping a monitor on the others, I’m sure my alerts will replay any moments of significance, which take place.

[member="Adenn Kyramud"] [member="Mig Gred"] [member="Sterling Kinslayer"]

“WHOA!” Tamar held to the turret controls, as the vessel spun. “He’s too fast for my turret targeting!”

The fighter was going to be a thorn in their underbelly if she didn’t find a way to chase past where he wanted to be. Checking trajectories, Tamar continued to attempt to fire in front of the fighter… eliciting a few scattered shots which hopefully made ‘contact’.

“Whomever he is, I’ll slap him when we’re done!” Face a mask of concentration, [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] continued blasting at targets… until one particular target, that of [member="Sterling Kinslayer"], made a direct line toward the Enigma.

“SON OF A BANTHA!” Tamar flung her turret controls toward the insane lizard man and opened fire. She attempted to empty on the strafing fighter, “The heck!? How’s he doing that drift!? Can he do that? Can fighters do that? Is that legal?!”

While Arla & Vhei set up in their own way, Yasha remained fixed on Sleppo and Glen. Her 360 degree HUD showed her movement, infrared signatures cut by the wind, yet present without the tell-tale comm signals of her own.

“That guy wants to intimidate… us? Yasha snorted audibly, shifting her posture to keep equal weight on both feet. A stance for those watching, which could be interpreted as a warrior prepared to progress rapidly to aggressive negotiations. “Yes, Vod. Show our… uneducated friends why threatening Mandalorians and keeping stock in a Peoples’ Temple is a bad idea.”

“… Slep, she’s laughing, Slep.” Glen leaned over and muttered.

“Aye, I see tha’, Glen, now I’s got this, donni?” Sleppo stepped forward, taking his scattershot heavy ordinance rifle off his shoulder and plopping it in both hands.

“Oy, aye, mayhap I ain’t been usin’ me vocab all in th’correct methad. Pass off, we set up, squared off innit? Squatter’s rights an’th’likewhat.” The next mistake Sleppo made was his worst.

He cocked his gun.

Yasha didn’t need broken basic to grit her teeth underneath her buy’ce.

“Mando’ade, keep the Cathedral intact. If you have a clear shot, take it.” Yasha reached her empty left hand, into the air and paused.

“Wassit?”

"Whatcher-doin?”

“Issit… she got some sorta imaginary friend?”

The ‘friend’ beckoned to Yasha’s hand was no fiction or imagined appliance. The Longinus Spear flew into her hand, and anchoring it between her arm and her hip, Yasha thrust forward and pointed the weapon at Glen.

“AAAYYEEEEEEEEEEE!!! ME UP’s ME DOWN!!” the man shrieked as his body was flung into the air, by the gravity-manipulating dovin basal in the spearhead of Yasha’s precious weapon.

“Get off Vortex, the Vors don’t approve.” Yasha said in Basic. Plain, shouted, Basic. She pointed the spear to the ground and Glen fell faster than gravity into the dirt.

All round, gangster blaster fire erupted.

Wasp paused for a brief moment as skorvek's message popped up on her hold "Har'chaak" she sighed as her, and many more mandalorians were instructed to hold. Waiting. it was always the waiting that got to her, nevertheless, it was her job while behind the scope. at least she can take the time to better adjust her shot. thankfully this wasn't a slug thrower, else she'd have to take slug drop and wind into consideration. these guys didn't look like they were sporting armour, at least not from here, so a blaster should do just fine. suddenly her target, the alien named "Sleppo" steps forward, putting his hands on his blaster and.. he cocked the gun. "Baaaad Idea mate..." she says as she lines up the shot. then the mand'alor's hand becomes outstretched, and by the time wasp realizes what she's doing, she's summoned a spear, it was like watching a god from here. the spear sends glen flying, Go time! by the time the mand'alor has finished speaking-

*Thuuum* A single blaster shot zips over the party's heads and passed the mand'alor by a few feet, If wasp had lined this up right, which she most likely had, sleppo would probably be on the ground with a blaster scorch mark in the side of his skull.

After taking her shot, Wasp activates her IFF Transponder, and checks her comms, rolling into the lush purple grass while she scans the area for another vantage point, remembering the golden rule of a marksman: Never fire from the same location twice.

Mig was shocked as he heard Tamar, though Liddin looked back at her for a second with a smirk.

"Well our turbolasers are rapid fire so I'm not sure about illegal." Mig then looked at the odd drifting fighter before the corvette turned towards [member="Sterling Kinslayer"] and opened up on him with the turbolasers and dummy torpedoes. The Alor then realized something, looking to [member="Tamar Fitz Kierke"] .

"It looks like a Viper, but something's different. I think Aries was talking about something like that." As he said this, one of the Gred Vipers dove towards Sterling, firing as it did.

Stardust clanked forward, stepping beside yasha as she rolled her shoulder and moved her hands up to her helmet and removed it as she put it on her side. Eyes flared with fire as she looked at every single one of the scum as she stepped slowly forth just barely past yasha hands at her sides

hey fools, trying to intimidate a wolf and dragon bah fools

The man spoke, her eyes narrowed on his gun as her sabers flew right to her hands, stepping forward as the blasters forest ahe redirected them up into the air almost like a ofd type of firework show. Once she was certain that the fire was down she deactivated them and rushed forth towards them. Normal stuff wouldnt work so stardust was glas for one ability that wouldn't harm the crystal

Fire

Ince she was close she let a plume fly up towards the enemy hoping to get them to fumble

"Not as much as I love you." Was Adenns response to Aditya, the love of his life. Hugging her, they are then on Calyr shortly thereafter. Then she talks about Sterling and how she'd fly, grinning, Adenn has an idea. "What about if you fly Calyr, not now, but in a few moments once you've adjusted a bit more? I think that'd be fun." He's grinning from ear to ear behind his helmet, expectation and anticipation ready within him.

Adenn notices that the droids are avoiding them, good, the wind is bad enough, even if Calyr makes it seem like nothing and Adenn is shielding Aditya with his body. Suddenly a strong gust hits them, pushing Calyr sideways, holding tight to Aditya and the reigns, Adenn wait till it abate slightly before letting Calyr keep going. Shortly thereafter they start doing tricks and [member="Aditya Fitz Kierke"] is loving it, and thus Adenn loves it too. Chuckling as she crys out, Adenn enjoys the moments with her.

Then she asks for more and Calyr is more than willing to give it. Laughing, Adenn pats Calyrs neck, giving the okay for him to keep going. Letting out a short bark, Calyr sharply turns into the wind and spreads his wings wide. Immediately they go flying up, higher and higher, buffeted by the wind, but Adenn keeps an arm around Aditya, making sure she's safe. Grinning, Adenn doesn't say anything as Calyr falls over backwards and dives down, only this time he's not slowing down. As they dive, they pass by one of the training droids, so close that Adenn could actually touch it if he wanted to. Laughing, Adenn merely ignores it before Calyr suddenly pulls up.

He's not trying to be gentle, instead letting the wind push them around as he starts doing more twists and turns, at one point he even does a barrel roll. Laughing, Adenn merely makes sure to keep a close grip on Aditya, not wanting her to leave his arms.
"So, did you like that cyar'ika?"

As he heard [member="Yasha Cadera"] give permission then call forth her spear he too decided it was high time to bloody his new toy as he reached out for a few moments as his spear flew in and sliced through the other mobster that was with Glen as the battle finally raged forth, He unleashed a torrent of lightning at the gangsters that had begun fighting, He sliced off the barrels of a few guns with ease.

The beauty of the sharpness of his spear allowing him to cut through things with ease as he sent several gangers flying back with a wide swipe before he repeated it with a simple slash at their necks, He took note of [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"]'s actions he was pleased as always with her work he lunged his spear into one gangster as he slashed several down with the claws of his gam, No one said he couldn't be abit brutal as long as the cathedral remains in tact.

“Not us illegal! That illegal!” Tamar pointed at the incoming rogue star fighter, unexpectedly piloted by a likely confuse reptilian. She kept firing as she could, yet eventually had to switch targets.

Despite the pace of the mock battle, Tamar had a brilliant grin plastered on her face. This? This was life! And potentially death, if that outrageously inclined mook-pilot was involved.

Sleppo’s body was dead before @Skorvek’s spear sliced through. [member="Vhei Wasp Naudir"] saw to it, her sniper shot clean and true. Triggering her shield, Yasha hunkered down as she took considerable blaster fire.

The now leader-less goons broke into a dangerous panic, some rushing for expensive supplies, others taking up the charge for their lives. The blaster fire attempted to suppress those at the front, while three on the upper side of the Cathedral tore down from their positions to reinforce the centre lobby.

This left one sniper up high, holed up in a wind channel, which remained in view of [member="Arla Balor"]… unless Vhei’s shifting position made him visible, as well.

“Noah! I love these shields!” Yasha bellowed, as [member="Stardust Solus Skirae"] blasted those closest with fire. “Come on, you useless sacks of tubers! Come get us.”

With that, Yasha rushed beside her vode, attempting to pull the gangsters out of the Cathedral, so Kaine and his Clan Australis reserves could secure the back.

What're you gonna do? Kill me?
“Me fly Calyr?! What does Calyr think about that?” I wonder how much piloting a sapient being does on the back of a dragon. Get the feeling it’s more about an attempt at pointing them in the best direction and holding on. Creatures. They’ve got wills, and it’s one of the reason I’m so fond of machines.

Feel less guilt over reprogramming a droid. And don’t get me going about the whole ‘droids are people too’ malarkey. We educate kids all the time, you can’t tell me that ain’t a kind of programming.

Wait, how am I conjuring coherent thought when I’m upside down in midair being held to the saddle of a dragon while my lover-boyfriend-guy-fellah spurs us on?

Oh right, there it is.

“AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” My screams are right where they ought to be. We’re falling and diving, the Vortex winds battering us around until I’m pretty sure I lost half my will to breathe.

It’s the best moment of my life.

Can’t help the laughter, or the screams. Can’t help the strong arm holding me in place. [member="Adenn Kyramud"] laughs, and I share it. Funny, that.

“Like!? Like’s not a strong enough word! Completely inefficient for the amazingness of Calyr’s roll! Did you see it!? We were flying! Aaaahahahahahahahaaaaaah! I hath conquered death, and now I hath conquered the act of not upchucking on a dragon! Huzzah!”
