Twenty Nights in the Ice is a Long Time [ME Domination of Hex AD-25)

Well Teagan had done plenty to make a fool of himself here, but at least [member="Yasha Mantis"] and [member="Kaden Mantis"] seemed okay with him. Mostly. This constant mentioning of Ramnar though was getting him curious as to just who this woman was. From what he could take from their conversation she was a looker that was into engineers. Sounded too true to him. When were women ever into guys like him? No they were always more into the types like Kaden. The big brooding handsomes with muscles for days was what women were into. Teagan might be fit but he certainly wasn't about to rip a shirt by lifting his arms up into the air. He decided though to keep his mouth shut and just follow along with them. They were the heroes, or going to be he imagined, of this mission and he was just their support to help smooth that along.

Getting his helmet back onto his head, Teagan boarded the dropship with his new companions. It seemed there was already some people moving out towards the objective. A [member="Koda Fett"] and [member="RC-0883"] were their names. Or at least what they went by. Didn't matter, he just needed to remember they were friendly and focus on his job. It had already been asked a couple times on how much time he needed, but he didn't really have a clear answer for that. Everything depended on how they built their stuff. If it was fairly basic or complex in a bad way then not long but if it was savy and elegant in the design then it could take awhile. He should probably let them know about that actually. " You asked how long I need earlier, but I'm not sure. Without any real data on how they built the machines I can't give you even a rough estimate. It is entirely dependent on how they put it together on how fast I can disable it." There we go. Now they knew how unreliable he was at the moment. Better to be honest right?

As they approached the Sith's base though, Teagan slide down the scope on his helmet. He could see the shield shining and began to try to sort out what they were dealing with. Not much he could tell as they were so dug into the planet itself. All he saw really was the barrel of the weapon and... and a shimmer. Did he actually see a shimmer? Then he saw it again and a bit of smile crossed his lips. He said over the coms to his companions, " Their shield shimmers." That was good! Oh wait, they might not know why that was good. He added after the pause, " The shimmers means it is having surges which means the power generator to it is not operating right. We still can't break through it though because it doesn't effect the shield strength, but if you can get me to that generator then I can overload it and wreck both the shield generator and the weapon's systems. They won't be able to repair that without replacing all the electrical components and installing their system back ups if they even have them." Alright that should be good enough an explanation as to why the shimmer was important. It was not his call though on if they wanted to go with that plan but it seemed like the best one with what little he knew right now.

"I know we're all about Mandalorian Pride and all that," the bubblegum-haired girl started, a currently de-gloved hand swishing along the screen of a datapad, not even stopping to look at her companion for this mission quite yet, "but these instructions weren't very clear." The youngest of clan Namadi sat perched on a ledge a fair bit taller than her standing height, comping down on a piece of gum the color of her hair. "Like how exactly are we supposed to show them the Mandalorian way?"

She tapped a couple commands into the datapad, with no signs of stopping without someone else's intervention. It was a normal occurrence for the girl, so often absorbed in work that she'd take it with her. This time, however, it wasn't equations nor notes she was bent over. Rather, a game had claimed her interests, keeping her entertained a bit more than it should. Way more.

"So what's the game plan?" She wondered, still not looking up from the datapad, a bubble popping with its distinctive pop.

Warning sirens rang out as the mandalorian attack began in earnest. One of the cargo lander had already taken off and was clear of the area when [member="Vilaz Munin"] and [member="Shia Kryze"] fell upon the encampment but the one remaining has barely began to load. As the Jedi outpost began to fire on attacking craft Cody made his way to speak with the Khormai force master.

"Master Vernin, this is not some simple fething sith fanatic attack. Those ship are barring mando colors, deathwatch if I’m not mistaken. You said this was a Sith revolt, that you needed our help to take down a cult stronghold. We are totally i’ll equipped for air attacks and a heavy assault " Cody stated while shopping on his death stick more vigorously than usual.

"The Force challanges us young commander, this is the true fight. The battle against the darkness of the tainted and the unbeliever. Reval in it, feel the force calling you to serve, it will strenthen us, lead us! If the force is with me then who can stand against me! Master Verin said holding his hands to the heavens.

“Feth I hate you holy men sometimes… Fine, Ice Lords defensive positions. Spread out along the inner walls and support the Khormai defenders. Lieutenant signal the “White Queen”, tell her we need a squadron of deathwish fighter here to support ASAP. Sky are getting pretty fething full and need to be thinned out.” Cody commanded.

ORC forces were now spreading out along the inner shield wall. Those attacking would first see the power armored Khormai, but they would also notice a dozen or so cybernetically altered supporting them, each four or so meters tall and sending burning magma at them.

As his ship drooped out of hyperspace he say the world laid out in front of him and was briefed on the situation. He opened a channel on the ships intercom and declared. "All hands to battle stations! Every warrior that is non-essential crew head to your gunships we are here to wreck havoc. This is our first deployment and we must show the empire what we are made of!" With that order the ship came alive as the pilots ran to their ships and the cannons were being warmed up. He would wait for the call from the leaders for reinforcements before charging head first into the heavy weather of the planet below. He opened a channel to the leaders of each strike team and announced his presence. "This is Quoron Viszla aboard the ME Copad. My warriors and I are ready to deploy where there is most need of us." With that he closed the channel and prepared himself for the call.

Kaden stopped when Yasha put her hand on Kaden’s chest plate. Yes, the man was over protective of his Yasha, he had always been. It just seemed a bit more pronounced now that they were married. Had Teagan picked up on that from the party? Had he realized he just tried hitting on Kaden’s wife. Kaden couldn’t see it any other way. It was a good thing Yasha saw it as a compliment.

They had a job to do. Kaden had to focus on it.

Yasha was leading and taking point. Kaden did his best to listen to what [member="Teagan Stoirm"] needed as Yasha coordinated the air assault. There was a shimmer in the shield? Kaden blinked and used the HUD in his helmet to get a read out of the shield. By the Manda Teagan knew his stuff. It was good to have a nerd with them.

<<< “Ican get you to the generator,” >>> he said as he motioned for Teagan to follow his lead. The comm switched over to Yasha, and Kaden spoke quickly. <<< “Tell the boys up above to start hitting the shield and draw the attention away from us. Teagan and I got the shield, Yash’ika.” >>>

Kaden would have given her a romantic headbutt, but he was already leading Teagan head first into the fray. They were about to get the generator, and the Sith troops wouldn’t stay inside for long.

[member="Yasha Mantis"] [member="Koda Fett"] [member="RC-0883"]

teamsith.png
Wedged in Yasha’s mouth, a piece of tinget root. The crews of the gunships churned with Khorm’s rough weather and as much as her pride was on the line, Yasha refused to admit she was feeling the churn too. Thankfully she was in armour, or by heavens the young woman would become too visibly green.

“If you catch a bad run on the equipment, have Kaden patch through to my buy’ce. I might be able to help.” Yasha gnawed on the root, taking her own position at the top of the gunship. “Shimmer!? Shimmer is good! Shimmer is great! Hah! We are so making fun of the Sith for their misuse of energy conduits. Just remember we’re taking the components that don’t get fried. Put it to better use on Mandalore.”

‘Cool it, Kade’ika. Teagan’s harmless, chill. Stay alive out there and I might even appreciate it later.’ Yasha sent the message to Kaden’s buy’ce… that would focus the young married man.

[member="Koda Fett"]’s small charge indeed blasted enough of a distraction for Yasha’s force to assault the secondary position on the other side from the legendary bounty hunter. “Fire batteries in three second bursts. Hold for four, then fire again. Engage.”

“Oya, Katlaydr.” The gunner said, as the entire facility came through their sights. Yasha’s boots hit the ice with a satisfying crunch. She bit down on the tinget root with a predatorily grin masked by her buy’ce, and rushed two of the Sith guards who caught sight of the commotion and came to investigate.

The first went down before his lightsaber ignited. Yasha snapped up the lightsaber and slapped it on her left thigh mag-lock. The second raised his hand to do what Yasha could only assume was some form of telekinesis.

The confusion on his face rested in a permanent encasement of snow as Yasha gutted him and moved on. To her right, pens of slaves, most of whom were busying about the work of the day, tracking through designated paths, their slave collars keeping them from bolting outright. To her left, the gigantic weapon [member="Teagan Stoirm"] and Kaden went to take down.

“Gorrus!!” Yasha put her audio frequency outward. A rustle came from the centre of the camp. Troops, as scant as they were, began to swarm the Mandalorian position.

This… this was the perfect way of getting Lord Gorrus to show his face, and put Koda in the right position to take him down.

The man wasn't one for stealth. Typically he relied on fear-factor, or brute force. It was the easiest of ways. Sometimes they would run after seeing so many just like themselves being torn down like withered old tree in harsh conditions. It never ceased to provide some sort of sadistic fulfillment from witnessing such a thing. Although that wasn't to say that the Bounty Hunter wasn't proficient in that certain tactic. It was rather easy to be with what was going on, as well. The walls of the fortress were nearly deserted as the Mandalorians breached the fortress, there wasn't a chance they would leave their fellow comrade's fate in the hands of a deadly warrior people.

Fett was unchallenged and given all the time in the world. He hadn't cared for what happened down below, instead he began creeping through the fortress in an attempt to find this Sith. There was no individual price on his head, whether he was captured or brought in dead, it didn't seem to matter. So it was evident enough that Fett would put the man down for good once he had found him.

Wait, was that?

Haar'chak!

"Magma?" Shia exclaimed as the bolt of boiling brillance poured towards her, triggering her boosters and rolling to one side to present a horizonal and vertically moving target. "Where the feth did they get magma?"

She fired a rocket volley to distract one of the cybernetically augmented wampa. Wampa. Not natives at all. Then powered inwards while triggering a broadcast announcement.

"Shia to all, be advised the defenders definitely have reinforcements."

She took one magma blast on her shield generator and flinched as the hot metal splashed everywhere, burning through the ice and rendering the footing treacherous. This was going to be more difficult than they'd though, and no one thought it would be easy. She ducked under the guard of the wampa and felled it with a swift three round burst to the cybernetic actuator on it's spine. It wasn't dead, but it's limbs were going to have real trouble moving without repair. Or if it had augmented lungs, it might be dead, she wasn't too picky. Just going for the cheap shots.

"Sooran, shab!" She snarled as warriors poured into the breach behind her, widening it.

The answer to his question did not come from the Jedi Master but from the explosion of ordnance very nearby bringing his blue blade instinctively out. Ships flew over them bringing new questions in his mind. Ones Cody Bantam answered and a shiver ran down his spine. He had faced Mandalorians only once. Very recently at that too. The events of Utapau crashing into his mind.

Ice Lords took up positions with the Khormai defenders entering a deadlock with the Mandalorians.

As if fate was playing a trick on the Jedi Knight, his eyes quickly fell upon one of the bucketheads that stood out from the crowd. Not because of some remarkable feat but because of the fact it was the same Mandalorian he battled on Utapau. The pale, bald woman.

Or at least it had to be. No other armor seemed similar to it in the crowd of assaulting Mandalorians.

"Have no fear, soldiers!" His voice boomed surprising himself. The Force expanded from him and touched those of his allies granting them an increase of morale, resolve and focus.

He was no military commander. No warfare specialist.

Ember would do what he best could as a Jedi.

Protect.

The Jedi Knight headed right for the one he believed to be the same Mandalorian from Utapau. He saw her as a leader back there, he believed she would be the one here too. The difference from before was the touch of the Force he fell from the Mandalorian almost startling him.

Focus.

He dashed at her, lightsaber aptly deflecting any stray fire upon him before stopping midway and jerking his arm forward. The frozen ground beneath the Mandalorian would shift before he altered it rapidly accelerating in size attempting to 'consume' her legs and ensnare her in ice.

Oh. Not this again.

Shia triggered her jump back with vengance, flying upwards until a spur of ice caught and encased her foot, at which point physics took it's hold and she smacked face first into the ice.

*CRACK*

At least her foot was free.

She looked up to see a Jedi charging her and said quite calmly.

"Oh, you again."

Then she plucked two grenades from her belt, lobbing one at him and dashing one at her feet, the noxious cloud of Vaporized Ixetal Cilona bursting out into the cold night air. She was glad she didn't have to breathe it, it stank. She scrambled to her feet under cover of the attack and the gas.

"Would you stop if I told you we were working for a legitimate government?"

The legitimate government, in the form of a battle-scarred, black smoke belching scarred and be-tusked elderly - but not yet done with his fighting days - Khormai bellowed a wordless battle cry and crashed into the enemy lines, without giving call to surrender.
That was't very Khormai, at least not in the mid-world clans where he came from, if you didn't want to fight, you surrendered before the enemy attacked. Besides, he'd given up trying to reason with his old friend and ally quite some time ago. Clean sweep, they both had to be gone.
At eight feet (and a gigantic girth) the Khormai was significantly larger and tougher than his fellows, wielding his harpoon with surprising dexterity - although he didn't change his direction of motion quickly. He seemed unconcerned with the additional off-worlders, pretty much ignoring them for the time being as he focused on his fellow Khormai, if there were new off-worlders, then his Mandalorian allies could fight them.

Yasha would certainly appreciate Kaden surviving. He got the message loud and clear. <<< “Oh I’m coming back and believe me... I’ll make sure you keep that promise...” >>> Kaden replied over the private comm channel.

He had wanted to take out the Sith, but it seemed Yasha was taking him on. Kaden was going to have to get Teagan close to the shield generator. This wasn’t a time to move slow. Leading with his blaster rifle, Kaden shot at whatever came his way. He missed being smaller when sliding between a combatants legs was possible. For now Kaden had to settle for cover, and fire. Any combatant that got close enough tasted the beskar of his Katars, but even that wasn’t used as much as he had wished.

They began to take fire.

<<< “Okay Teagan, I got a clear shot. I’ll get you cover fire but you’re going to have to make the gap on your own. There’s a opening to the left. I’m right behind you.” >>>

He looked over the downed wall which they were ducking behind. Silently he motioned to Teagan as he counted down from...

3...

2...

1...

Kaden pushed off the wall and pivoted. He laid down several shots of suppressing fire and waved for Teagan to make his move. He was exposed, but Kaden knew if he kept moving he would be okay. His motivation to stay alive was greater than what it had been. He was married now, and Yasha was too young to become a widow. Kaden refused to let that happen.

Once Tegan cleared the opening, Kaden covered it for him.

<<< “Work your magic, vod!” >>>

And so the part that Teagan hated most about war had begun. The battle started as [member="Yasha Mantis"] ordered for shots to be fired. It was a distraction for [member="Koda Fett"] so that he could get to his position unseen. Everything was a flurry of activity that brought up memories he would rather forget but absolutely refused to. His alor's new daughter took off into the fray and then her husband [member="Kaden Mantis"] was pushing Teagan along into it as well. He began to move as fast as he could. He might not be in as good of shape as the warriors around him but he was fit. He kept up with his blaster pistol in his right hand but not a shot was taken. It would be a waste of a perfectly good power cell if he did, and he might need the shots later. His aim was not the best. He was no warrior after all but an engineer and part time farm boy.

As they got in, things felt different. It was tighter more compact. It was more like being inside of a ship or facility than it was a battlefield. Good. He felt more comfortable with how familiar it was. Maybe he could handle himself in here with some level of grace and dignity. But his back was already getting to him. The old injury never let him forget what he had done and how dangerous things could get. His life had already been saved from death once, what were the chanced that would happen again? As they got behind cover, Kaden seemed to have a firm handle on the situation. He listened to the instructions given to him, but as he did he noticed something. He noticed something about the generator they were heading to. But he couldn't really say anything or do anything because Kaden suddenly began shooting.

Teagan had to leave cover and rush as fast as he could across the kill box towards the generator. Blaster fire went by all around him. A few stray shots hit him with glancing blows and ripped through his armor. None penetrated his flesh but he had a few burns now. As he got to the end he was breathing hard and his back screamed. The burns he was use to but the back pain was just something he could never ignore. Then Kaden was with him soon enough. He was asked to work his magic. He said, " That generator is a dummy. No wires are hooked up into it. The real one is further in. See that." He pointed towards a power cord that was partly hidden along the wall. " We need to follow that to the real one. Best I can do with this dummy one is make it explode, but then we won't be able to use it later ourselves.... Oh and we might be killed by the explosion."

The Khormai defenders fought hard against their kin reinforced by Empire forces. However it was slowly becoming apparent that Jedi faction and ORC forces were dealing with a impressive and quite possibly superior attacking force. As Guðmundur - “The glave” one of the mighty dozen fought he was struck by a skilled pale mando in his main servo link just below his mid back. As his augments began to malfunction he began to lose his balance dropped to one knee. Seeing one of their brave wounded Yvarema of the Helpa’hands sprang into action. As three moved forward to confront the attacking mando with FFC Launchers the remaining brought an over-sized hover stretcher and help the brave wampa onto it. So they would escort the warrior back to the skilled hands of the field medic for attention, the three Yvarema workers gladly giving their lives for the better of the whole.

"Master Jedi, this is not looking good, do you have a back up station or a fall back point. If we can't hold them I need to be able to get your people to safety." Cody shouted to Master Verin.

"What, flee now in our moment of triumph? I think you over estimate their chances my skittery ally. It is always darkest before the light, and soon like the rising sun the force will spit them, and bring them to their knees.!" Master Verin replied.

"Feth, who are you Grand moff Tarken? Poodoo so no evac point, this is getting better all the time... Lieutenant ETA on air support, we need help Stat... All workers, grab the remaining ore and anyone who can't fight no more, load them up into Snowman and prepare for a hot evac." Cody ordered seeing the situation quickly spiraling out of hand.

[member="Adora Namadi"]

Jericho was barely capable of keeping his eyes of her hair.

It was rude, yes.

But... it was also bright pink. Who in the feth- no, that was very judgmental, wasn't it? That would be rude. "Armor, language, family. That is the Mandalorian Way, Adora." He pointed out politely, while trying to keep her eye rather than her hair. It didn't much help- he still had to glance at it every minute or so, but that was better than to keep his eye on it every second or so.

So.

Better than nothing.

"We can go into the village, maybe ask them if they have any problems that they can't solve?" Specifically problems that only the Mando'ade can solve. It usually involved breaking skulls and the sort.

That would be less than fun.

But sometimes you just needed to take one foot after the other and hope that in the end it would be all alright.

A huff of a sigh gave sign that Adora was done with her game, at least for the moment. "Armor, we have. Language, sure. Family?" She looked up from the datapad for a moment, raising a brow. "Are any of your clansmen here?" She paused a moment, brow furrowing as she noticed the wondering gaze. "Is there something on my face?"

Not waiting for an answer, she pushed herself off her perch, stretching when she landed, tucking the datapad away. "I don't know what the two of us can get one that they can't but it won't hurt to try, I suppose."

What could the two of them possibly get done? She had no clue. Oh well, at least they'd be able to say they tried? "Come on, then. Let's see what we can do."

[member="Kaden Mantis"] and [member="Teagan Stoirm"] rushed to their end of the mission, and Yasha continued to make for Gorrus. A commotion threw the slaves to her left into a blind panic, dashing them about as they scurried to try for some form of self-preservation.

As Yasha surged forward with the Yalilyr around her, she cut down anyone without a slave collar. Minor Sith, mere lackeys who thought they were in for some form of easier, or at least less painful ride than being anywhere near Darth Torturous after he or she or it received a new Iron Maiden and wanted to play.

A crash filtered in the distance, and Yasha ran for it. She saw [member="Koda Fett"]’s position in her HUD, tracking the bounty hunter for the sake of the mission and not much else. Stopping only long enough to put her katar through a safety lock on a slave pen, Yasha skidded along the snow and ice.

“You! All of you! The Mandalorian Empire bids you enjoy your freedom! Hold fast, we’ll deprogram those collars as fast as we can! Where’s Gorrus?”

A gigantic, yet malnourished walrus pointed at the area around Koda Fett, but skidded out to stop Yasha and shake his head.

Gorrus…

Gorrus wasn’t alone.

“You know the problem with ice worlds, Gorrus?” I poked at the Sith Lord Gorrus’ shoulder with the bottom of my shoe. His fault for ignoring my seventh attempt, I was beginning to think he’d done a bit dim from the cold. “Hey… hey… HEY!”

“KARK, what, woman!? For the love of everything unholy what!? WHAAAT!?” Gorrus yanked himself out of his chair, slipping on the warm blanket he’d wrapped around himself as he sat watching his small domain.

“… Dude, Jerry… chill… you want some tea or something? My son, hey, my son? See? My son, he’s got this tea, it’s made of flowers or grass or the contents of his hedge row and it’s like… do you smell rocket fuel and armour weave?” I blinked, then went back to kicking the Sith Lord’s chair. At least it was rhythmic… ish.

Gorrus gurgled a shout and stalked around the room, stroking his lightsaber handle and considering whether or not it was worth whatever deal he’d made to keep the insane woman around.

“Wait… when did I hire you?” Gorrus sneered, dropping the blanket from his shoulders. “And what happened to my heat?”

“Hire me! HAH! You can’t afford to hire me with this dump the way it is… I’m robbing you, Jerry! Ye gots the stuffs, I’s gots the desire to nab it! You hit your head! Remember? Guess you don’t… so! Where’s the ammonite, or anemones or whatever it is you’re farming the walrus seal things outside for?!” Maybe then he would have taken me seriously, maybe I shouldn’t have been on Khorm in the first place.

Maybe if I hadn’t cried all over the map I would have remembered that Aran died on Mandalore, and getting closer to it was the bloody worst idea a grieving widow could accomplish… but then down the pipeline came the blubber-coated call of this seal with gigantic teeth and a glandular problem calling for Mandalorian aide.

Mandalorians…

… they… killed… my …. husband.

Who was also a Mandalorian… wait.

“You… oh you are going to die now.” Gorrus said, igniting his lightsaber and taking a stance semi-comparable to a wet noodle teaching a rotting zucchini how to hold up a building.

“Awww you see that!? Don’t telegraph it! Just attack! Like that guy! Hi That guy!” I point straight at this Mando in beskar’gam, who looks a bit skulky and possibly rude. The moment Jerry turns his head, I conjure up a Force Push and send Gorrus flying fifteen feet in an arc toward the snow. [member="Koda Fett"]

Wonder if skulky Mando is married. “Now that’s how it’s done! Bloody murder and attack. No talking ab-wait, who am I talking to? KARK!”

The Mandalorian, despite his heavy armor, was quite proficient when it came to sneaking throughout this fortress. He moved with a certain nimble grace, a very thing thought impossible for a man so brutish in strength. He was a Bounty Hunter, the best one at that; he had to be versatile. The sound of Fett's feet against the fortress floors betrayed him, the occasional cautious glance turned in his direction from one of the many guards, although as they had there was nothing there. As if he was a ghost. Which simply wasn't true, he had just found cover.

It was the room ahead that appeared to be more fitting for a man of power, or specifically a Sith Lord. The words that echoed outward only confirmed his suspicions. Fett planned on moving inside and silently putting a bolt into the Sith without a fuss, but the woman who seemed to be mad happened to ruin any chance of an ambush - especially after hurling it into the snow below. Truth be told, he was shocked to a certain extent. It wasn't what he expected. Though he adapted.

A brief glance was cast upon the Dark Jedi after he broke his stealth-orientated stance, and then to where Gorrus had landed within the snow. His jetpack fired up, and despite the harsh and cold conditions he soared upwards throughout the air. Engaging the Sith Lord with a single wrist-mounted missile and the unrelenting fire from a blaster carbine.

Well the dummy generator was telling Teagan that the Sith had taken some precautions against someone messing with their stuff. It was a smart idea as any half competent techy could easily ruin their entire operation by shutting off power to their systems. What did bother him was why they hadn't used a perfectly good generator to help deal with the power issue they were suffering from. With the surges going on they could have run into some bigger issues if they were not careful running it all through a single generator. Wait, did they not realize there was a surge or an issue with using the single generator? Surely they had some kind of engineer on staff with that big weapon they had built.... Unless something had happened to their tech expert. This could be even more reason for him to get to that generator fast.

Teagan turned to [member="Kaden Mantis"] and said, " Going to go find the real generator. I'll do something about it once I find it." With that said he took off from behind cover. The enemy began to focus fire his way as he moved as quickly as he could. It was a test of his willpower as his back threatened to drop him at any moment while more and more glances damaged his armor and added more burns to his body. His eyes remained stuck onto the power cord they hadn't hidden well enough as he ran on. A sudden hard turn to the right popped up and he ended up sliding into the wall. With it came safety from the fire, but he couldn't afford to stop to catch his breath. Who knew how many of the enemy was after him. He couldn't rely on Kaden to get him out of this and his mad dash could be thinning out their numbers enough for the other young man to handle them on his own. That was all Teagan could focus on right now to keep pushing him forward.

After a few minutes of following the power cord and hearing pursuers behind him, Teagan finally found the main generator. Like the cord there had been an attempt to hide it but they hadn't completely pulled it off. A gap in the side of the generator just big enough for Teagan to fit into came into his view. The sounds of the Sith still after him was getting stronger every second. He had slowed down due to his back problems it seemed and it had given them time to catch up more. They would be here before he could do anything to his objective, so he took the only option that might give him a chance. He squeezed himself into the gap and kept going as far back as he could. He held his breath as footsteps sounded near the gen. They were going to find him and see him for sure. He was going to be dragged out and killed.... But then things grew more and more quiet until it was silent. He slowly exhaled. Working his way back to the opening, he peeked out. All clear. With a sigh of relief Teagan got himself fully out of the gap and got to work on the generator.
