Soliath Devin Talith
Family Man
The explosion hardly caught Soliael by the surprise. The whirling winds of lightning and power that Kira wrought seemed to flow over him, not even touching him as they ravaged the area around them. Duracrete was sundered, rock was blasted, and the air itself seemed to shift and fold in on itself, threatening to collapse and render the area completely dead.
The False God simply weather it, the force surrounded him, buffeting winds of power that sheltered hm from the storm that Kira had created.
In an instant however, it was over, and the blonde woman fell to the floor with a heavy thud. Soliael heard the impact, his ears turning up slightly and his eyes shifting over through the wreckage of the surrounding area. Why had she passed out? He didn't harm her. Was it the force? No. she had more control than that. His eyes narrowed for a second then shot towards the tower, Jared.
He would have to break the man for that, or thank him.
Soliael moved in a flash. He was not quite as fast as his father had been, but he was still well enough trained in force speed that he left quite an impression. Closing the distance between himself and Kira in such a quick amount of time was unnecessary, but he didn't want to chance her awakening and trying something else unpleasant.
The tall man stood over her, observing with keen amber eyes.
Scars riddled her body. Deep wounds from cuts and serrated blades. He spotted places where her flesh had been knitted back incorrectly, where her legs and arms had been mutilated. From the odd position of her cloak he caught a glimpse of her midriff, the massive elongated scar that ran across her abdomen made him frown slightly. Who had done this?
Slowly, he bent down and picked her up, a wave of darkness swallowing a small speck of light.
With deliberate steps, he moved back towards the tower.
