Joke aside, while I've had my own personal feelings towards the Republic in the past, having even had a fleeter in the faction that I pull out due to the feeling that the posts (and to an extent the fleeter based characters were being ignored).
I've had a track record of coming up with faction ideas, and yes I do admit that I've jumped from idea to idea, rather too quickly (with my current Order of the Righteous Flame being the longest running faction), all of those factions have been well organized and put together. With a focus on the individuals members rather than just on the faction itself (as a faction requires everyone to grow, not just one or two individuals, or focuses upon one or two vectors).
Additionally, I would like to see the Republic recover from its recent run of bad luck; and that would require getting everyone to work together, which the Vice Chancellor appears to be centered around (in terms of getting the Senate in order and keeping it civil).
