Kira could respect her husband's wishes.

With a smile, the Lorrdian Jedi Master gave a nod. Blond hair shook over her shoulders as the petite woman brought her arms high up over her head. A big stretch lifted her chest, and she made a slight pleased hum of pleasure at the sensation of now limber limbs flexing.

"Mmm... we should." a rock of her hips teased him, as did a perk of her dark eyebrow. One puff of hot air blew the fringe of bangs away from her face, sending the locks flying up before they settled back down. "I guess I had my way with you enough already." she joked, giving a little shimmy as both hands fell back down. Using his chest as leverage, she would push herself up from her knees to her feet.

A glance to the nearby lake and their own bit of salt from sweat along with everything else would remind Kira that maybe a quick dip would help. She bent down and gave his hip a light slap.

"Come on, you can wash me up first like a good little pirate ship boy." ohhhh did she ever say that with notable glee in her eyes. That was likely going to get her in trouble one way or another.

But Kira did not mind.

He perked an eyebrow for a moment, boy? Calling him boy was perhaps the biggest misnomer of the century. Even among species that were long lived Soliael was an adult, at least by most standards. He frowned for a moment, then suddenly his grip tightened on her.

The next moment was a blue of motion.

The former false god flexed his muscles, and in one fell swoop bounded up. He practically threw Kira into the air, launching her up and catching her in his arms within the span of half a second. His own strength, and the added benefit of the force poured through him, allowing Soliael to move faster than he ordinarily would be capable of. His arms scooped Kira out of the air, plucking her onto her shoulder almost as quickly as she had been thrown into the air.

She squealed slightly in surprise, her eyes bulging open.

Soliael only laughed, a smirk spreading on his face. "How about you wash me."

His voice was filled with mirth, Kira jostling on his shoulder slightly as he began to stroll towards the water.

Her squeal would echo, loud enough to send a small flock of birds flying from the nearby bushes into the air. With her hair now veiling her face, the Lorrdian would give another 'bout of laughter, smacking at Soliael's bottom as he walked.

"That is not what a Pirate Queen does!" she would huff out, tossing her hair away from her face as the sand would crunch under the former false god's bare feet. A small rush of alarm at her impending doom prompted Kira to give an extra wiggle of defiance, attempting to slip out of her husband's grasp as he edged nearer to the small lake.

There was a distant waterfall off to the northern side, with an ample amount of ferns and jungle greens scattered throughout. It seemed it was relatively isolated, but that could also be an illusion. One that the two Talith's were not so concerned about at the present time.

"You are my spoil of war!" she would emphasize, attempting a straight face but failing horribly at it.

"Don't make me have to punish you!"

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Punish?" Soliael echoed the word for a moment, as if considering it. "Like this?"

His palm came up and smacked his wife on the rear, hard enough to leave a small red imprint of his palm but not hard enough to really hurt her.

A Pirate Queen had to show that she was tough all on her own, clearly if she couldn't take it then she would never be able to dish it out, that was his theory anyway. He grinned slightly as he headed towards the waters, his ankles quickly caught by some of the larger waves that were pushing into the shore. The sensation reminded him of home, the warm waters pressing against his skin and lapping against his toes. He wiggled them for a moment, digging the digits into the sand before quickly heading deeper into the waters.

Kira began to flail slightly, half giggling, half yelling.

It was an amusing sight really, though on the abandoned beach no one was there to hear or see them.

The sting made Kira start, giving a slight jolt at the smack. "HEY!" she was not one to be deterred. Alright, time to get serious! A wry grin drew over her lips, and with full gusto, the Lorrdian went reaching down to grab two handfuls of Soliael cheeks. Without further ado, she would sing,"No! Like this!"

It was little warning, but knowing how Kira is, her little act would come to no surprise. With the Force, the Jedi Master sent two twin shocks enough to attempt to paralyze and numb the former false god's legs. It was only enjoy juice to have them go numb for a little bit. A few minutes at that.

If he were to fall over... well, she would have to move quickly to get into a position of advantage then!

It could very well be argued that Soliael was one of the most powerful force users in the entirety of the galaxy. He had studied ancient and new traditions, had learned beneath the feet of a dozen civilizations and had mastered some of the most complex force techniques that the galaxy held. He could sunder an entire fortress with the snap of his finger, tear apart a human being on a whim, teleport across half the galaxy with a single thought.

He could not however, tell the future.

It was an ability that had always escaped him, and although he was quite good at the prediction of what others were going to do, he could never quite nail it down entirely. So when his wife, his loving adoring wife, decided she would shock him, even the former False god of a thousand worlds didn't see it coming.

The jolt struck him almost immediately, his muscles seizing and his legs suddenly becoming stiff. A curse escaped his lips, his hands suddenly coming up even as he began to fall.

Soliael of course knew exactly what had happened, knew exactly who was at fault, and his only reaction was to secure what was surely now his prize. His fingers reached up and laced around her hips, his hands tightening on Kira and pulling her down and to his chest. He fell forward, wrapping his arms around Kira and pinning her to himself so that she wouldn't be able to try and tricky business and get away.

SPLASH!

They both fell into the water in a tangle of limbs, sputters, and half choked laughter. Water rose, fresh at best thankfully, dunking both the former false god and his wife under the water. By all accounts, it only reached about knee level for Soliael when standing, but when his legs seized due to the shock given by his wife, they both sank.

Kira felt the instant latch down of ten fingers sprung upon her hips. Soliael, despite his current disadvantage, was still a quite powerful man from his own merit. He could use his size and his strength to his advantage. Yet, like he, Kira used her diminutive form and the slick coating of water to attempt to wiggle free.

A laugh spit out water from her mouth, breaking the surface amidst their jovial struggle. "Oh no you don't!" she would state, pushing and wiggling to shove his grip from her hips. Legs struggled to find purchase, sinking into the soft wet sand below. Bracing then, she used her legs and the ground as leverage, intending to shoot herself up and away from the Talith and slip free.

At least he still had the advantage of the force.

As his wife tried to squirm and slip away, Soliael's fingers curled once more. This time his grip didn't tighten, but instead he controlled the flow of the waters around them. It wasn't too difficult, it wasn't like he was trying to summon the strength of the ocean. Instead he simply pushed the waters that surrounded them, summoning them into a powerful wave that would push at Kira in the opposite direction of where she was trying to go. It was easier than holding on to her after all.

Why fight when she could just be brought to him?

Or rather...be kept right on top of him.

A brilliant solution by the former false god, though one that had a glaring flaw that he hadn't quite thought through. The powerul wave that pushed at his wife's back and sent her flying against him would of course also hit him, and with his face directly aligned with water...well a dose of salt up the nose was never really a pleasant thing. "Got yo-aASDGWSEGNAWEGAWEHB!"

Tiny thing that she was, it didn’t take much for Kira’s diminutive form to go crashing into Soliael’s chest. The strength of the wave rocked her against him, a half glub and choked laugh drowned out by both of them getting a good dose of water up the nose and in mouths.

“Cheater!” she sputtered out, writhing and squirming in her husband’s grasp. Nevermind that she did the exact same thing. The cry was said with full knowledge of the double standard, but in good humor. Hacking up some water, she gave a shove of his chest, wiping the wet locks of hair off of her face. Slicked back, her eyes shone such a bright aquamarine blue. It was almost the same hue as the water they swam in, that earlier wave cresting to crash against the beach.

Laughing, she latched herself with a loop of her arms around his shoulders.

“Okay, okay!” they splashed about a bit, the petite Jedi Master appearing to any who would casually observe to be a youngling. “We can both wash each other.” beads of water went trickling down her face and shoulders, and she gave another laugh as her right hand swept back the damp forelocks of Soliael’s hair

Truthfully he had forgotten all about the washing.

Old age probably. He sputtered for a moment, trying to get all of the water out of his ears and nose. He would likely have to be more careful with his future use of the force, especially if he was going to be playing around with his wife. His head shook one more time and finally he felt the fluid in his ear drain, a relaxed sigh escaping him as he suddenly felt far more comfortable than he had been only moments ago. A row of goosebumps crawled down his spine and over his shoulders, the odd feeling taking him for a moment.

"How about I go first?" Soliael said with a smirk as he reached out and slowly began to trail his fingers over his wife.

It wasn't like this was anything new.

Over the past twenty years he and Kira had explored one another in every way imaginable, and fumbling around in the water while naked? Well that had been one of their first adventures together, before they had even been married. A small smile pulled at his lips as he lost himself in a bit of nostalgia.

“What incentive do I have, eh?” Kira would quip, humor dancing in her eyes, wet spikes of lashes blinking lingering drops of water away. Despite her sassy reply, the Lorrdian would continue the combing of Sol’s hair with her fingers, untangling their length. Leaning against him, they would bob along in the water, floating a bit while the waves died down.

“Although I could be swayed,” she teased, enjoying the flex of his sailing hands. Legs found themselves curling round, relaxed and enjoying the quiet. It was nice. It reminded her a bit of Borleias but calmer. It was more humid here, warmer too. The Rishi sun closer than than of Borleias. Only her current tan would allow a measure of protection from the brilliant rays.

“It's beautiful out here.” She told him, enjoying the sounds of nature and the lap of waves around them.

[member="Kira Talith"]

"Your incentive is me." Soliael said quite simply and confidently, as though there wasn't really anything else that one would need. With Kira, that was quite possibly true, with the exception of their children of course. His gaze fell on her for a moment, passing over the tiny form of his wife before he slowly began to look at everything that she was taking in.

Rishi was beautiful, in a way.

The planet was old, it had a history that stretched further back than most worlds even in the core. It had always been a pirate outpost of some sort, a place for smugglers and criminals to go beyond the reach of everyone else. He supposed that gave the planet a sort of mystical allure, a freedom that wasn't found anywhere else. He wondered how things would have been different if they had built their home here, if their childrens morals would be any different, if Aela would have been less bound by her sense of Justice.

He frowned for a moment.

"It is." He agreed finally.

Kira's toes went skimming across the sandy bed under the water, their casual float bringing them a bit closer to time shore. Adjusting herself, Kira gave a little push with the pad of her toes, the small bit of leverage allowing them to move a little bit deeper.

“You’re mind is wandering again,” she said, giving his jaw a light dribble to gather his attention. While the ring could not relay thoughts, it allowed her to get a general gist of what the former false god was feeling at the time. A short bit of pensiveness bloomed from their earlier easy going silly mood, and Kira was curious on what brought it up.

“Worried about the pirates?” They may have joked about it a bit about the scattered miscreants and vagrants, but it was a possibility. Neither were too naive to believe that this world would be completely safe. Legs swayed and wadded along, her tiny body supported by her husband’s embrace. All the while, Kira was diligently combing her fingers through his hair, smoothing it back.

There was just something so beautiful about his eyes. With the hair slicked back as she was able to see the vibrancy of their hue, framed by a set of lashes that would be the envy of any woman. The corner of her mouth perked. Leaning forward, she pressed a kiss against the tip of his nose.

“Credit for your thoughts.”

Pirates didn't worry him, not in the least. Kira likely knew that, but she was simply trying to guess what he was so contemplative about. He couldn't fault her, and he didn't of course, though in the back of his mind he wondered if she was worried about pirates. His wife had a habit of worrying, sometimes about their children, and sometimes about things that didn't need to be worried about. It was one of the qualities that Soliael adored about her.

"I was wondering what would have been different had we raised the kids on a planet like this." He said honestly.

"Aela would have been different." Soliael stated simply as though it were a fact. "More free, I think."

His eldest daughter was not a point of contention for either of them, but a cause for concern. She had always been a stern and serious child, one that leaned towards justice and what she thought was right above all else. Rishi would have changed that about her.

There was something about this planet that was simple more...wild.

Esmae.

The willowy blonde with the stern expression and the bright orange eyes of her father would bloom in her mind. An image of her daughter. Having Soliael reference that if they had raised their children, here, on Rishi, if she'd be more free and less austere was a thinking point for the Lorrdian.

Ever since the Battle of Geonosis, Kira worried about their eldest. It wasn't to say that Aela wasn't always such a quiet child; she'd always had her father's curiosity and a vigorous appetite for knowledge. She'd just been a bit more open. A bit more prone to smiles. Having experienced war and death at such a young age had changed her.

The results of such had been Sol's and Kira's first real argument, if one could even call it that. That had also marked the change within Kira that had resulted in making the young mother more prone to concern. The worrying, the anxiety.

"I don't know." Kira finally spoke. Her voice was low, wondering. Beside her, she felt a slight flutter in the water. It was a brightly colored fish, swimming beside their legs before moving off. Kira gave a half chuckle. One that waned into a sigh.

"I worry about her." she admitted to Sol. "I don't know if this would have changed her... not after Geonosis."

[member="Kira Talith"]

He wondered for a moment. "I think she would have."

"Borleias is in the middle of the Republic." He began to explain. "All the trips she took after Geonosis, whens he was older, they were all to places with rules, regulations, bureaucracy. That's not a bad thing, mind you, but it affected her. She was shown taht this was the way to do things. It didn't help that...well I'm not exactly the biggest believer in free thought am I?"

He smiled jokingly at her, but knew that his words were true.

It wasn't that Soliael was bad or anything, but he had never really been considered to be a free thinker. His wild years were well behind him, and the most off-kilter thing that the Kids ever saw him doing was with their mother, which were decidedly not too off kilter. "It's not like its either of our fault, of course, but I think Rishi, the freedom of this planet and all those around it would have been good for her. It would've shown her that though there are rules, and there is justice, it's not something that always needs to be adhered to."

He mused for a second.

Perhaps Aela had learned that herself on her little crime adventure, he wished she had at least.

“Hmm…” that made Kira wonder. A sigh sank her against his chest, her fingers squeezing drops out of his long hair. Once done, she looped her arms around his shoulders anew. There was some truth to the matter. Esmae was rather fixated on justice. A bit too stern. Austure. It wasn’t that the young woman didn’t enjoy life, she did, just that here smiles and that small bit of jovial attitude were rare to see.

She kept to herself, enjoyed her books. Both Sol and Kira raised their children to be independant, but they also raised them to know right from wrong. Aela, having spent so much time in her youth exploring governments and learning to follow the rules and regulations was an aspect she took to heart. One Kira often attempted to coax her daughter into relaxing a bit several times, much to Aela’s chagrin. Like when Kira and she had used the force to slip into Aela’s ship while it was still being manufactured.

“She really didn’t enjoy borrowing my clothes,” this was said with amusement, recalling how aghast Esmae had been.

“Maybe going undercover may help.” … granted, this was said with still a note of concern. Aela was not the most subtle of their children

[member="Kira Talith"]

He shrugged slightly, not dismissing his wife of course, but more his own thoughts. "She has time to change."

That was surely the truth.

"She's young." Both in human years, and the extended life time that she actually would have thanks to him. None of his children would live as long as he would, but they still had several centuries to grow, live, and do everything that they wanted to do. Aela was barely in her early twenties, she was headstrong, driven, stuck in her ways, but in the relative stage of her life she was still very much a child. It was the truth of it, and Soliael had every confidence that she would become something else as time went on. "She'll be okay."

That was something that Soliael was completely sure of.

Out of all of the children Aela took life the most seriously, if too seriously at times. She trained day in and day out, mediated, sought knowledge that others had forgotten. Maleah was the explorer and Micah knew more than most would think, but Aela was studious, she made sure to take in every ounce of knowledge that she possibly could. That in it of itself was an edge, and when you went undercover it paid to do your research.

Aela always did her research.

Her right hand rose, dripping beads of water as her forefinger lightly went tracing along the shell of his ear. "I know." it wasn't said at face value. Aela was strong; they raised her to be. All of their children were. Draith, Kharyi, and Nohei. They all had their own unique personalities and quirks; and while a parent certainly wouldn't dwell on their flaws, Kira and Sol were aware of the areas that they wished their children would improve upon.

They had raised the children with little instruction on how to do it. Soliael out of the two of them had some sort of contact with family, his mother had raised him after all. Kira, well, being an orphan and running through the streets of Kuat as a pocket thief did not quite make her the best at knowing at how one should raise their child. They did their best, and they did so with love.

"What do you suppose of Draith and Kharyi?" Kira turned the conversation to the twins. While fraternal, they were still individuals. Maleah was always more on her own though, and often times it appeared that Micah was more in line with his younger sister than his twin.

[member="Kira Talith"]

He considered that for a moment. Both fo the twins had been heavily influenced by how Aela had acted. They had taken cues from their older sister and decided that her own way of doing things simply wasn't for them. Perhaps with the influence of Rishi they would have been even more wild. None of his children would have turned to the darkside of course, they knew full well what that meant, but perhaps neither one of them would have been so adherent to the tenants of 'good'.

Most of that adherence of course came from Kira, but it was important to remember that all of the children grew up within the Republic, following laws and what was deemed 'right'.

On Rishi there was no right, no wrong. "Maybe a bit more reckless."

Soliael mused for a moment.

"I don't think they would care about the rules." He laughed. "Even less than they do now anyway."
