Waking the Bear. [Mando/Sith]

A 'den

The Demolition Expert with one brain cell.
Duraanir Hanger Bay.
A 'den, feeling slightly nausea from being in space, stood silently near Rally Master Verz Horak waiting for the battle to begin.

Hyperspace
In route to Junction

Finally, the time had come for him to show his true strength. He would kill many Jedi and Mandolorian scum, and with each kill he would grow stronger. As Talos stood beside his master, Daxton Bane, he observed the hologram of the planet. Under the pitch black Witch's Skin he wore, every inch of his skin was crawling with excitement of the coming battle. He was not the only of Bane's apprentices who were accompanying the master on the mission, there were two others who had never met before, he had no real interest in knowing them until they proved themselves worthy of notice.

He would be commanding his own squad of apprentices, they were not knights but he was pleased that he was being given some power in this battle. He would make it his personal mission to kill a master too, and if those apprentices of his could not keep up that would be there problem.

"I guess I will be carving my name into Jedi first, sorry to push you to the back of the line master." Talos said bluntly, the direction of his gaze hidden by the red eyes of his helmet.

Jorn was checking his equpiment. He had all of his normal materals, The "Imp" pistol he had taken from Kaine, 2 daggers, 2 blades, and an asortment of grenades. He was currently at the armory getting everything when a recruit Mando came up to him with a strange looking weapon. It was a blade but had a canister on the top of the hilt. It was a mix between a gun and a sword. The man came up and said "We would like you to test this weapon out for us Rally Master. It has 10 shots per canister and its a blade. would you take it?" Elias grabbed the gun-sword hybrid and asked "What is it called?" the man responded with enthusasium saying "Its called the Angel blade." Jorn took the blade and replaced it with his swords. He nodded his head and walked to the hanger bay.

Jorn now had an Angel blade instead of his normal two swords. He was given ammo for the gun and was glad. He just hoped that it would be useful on the battle field. Jorn was walking in when then emencly large army of Mandos were ending their song. He walked over to a group of them and said "You willl be under my comand for this invasion. I expect you to fight to the death." He looked around to see their reactions and how many there were. He counted 15 that were with him. It was probably going to be one of the smaller groups but it would be the strongest group he would proabably lead.

Jorn looked over to a man in white armor and he asked "Is this your first invasion recruit?" [OOC: that would be you @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""]Kote Tal]

It had been quiet from the Dha Werda Verda for only moments before a Mando in black and red armor spoke to the squads around himself. He then poke directly to Kote. Kote was surprised, as he had done nothing remarkable to take his attention. He looked through his helmet's T-shaped visor at Jorn. He was well equipped for the mission, and was even sporting an exotic blade.

"Yes sir, bounty hunting is my usual game, but we are all needed for the glory of Mandalore today."

Jorn nodded at the new Mando. He had never seen him before today. He extended his hand towards the Mando and said "Names Jorn Mair, rank Rally Master, Whats your name?" He just wanted to know who the man was. And since this was probably his first bout with the Sith he may need some help. The Sith fought dirty. and this time He intended to fight the same way. he wanted to take over Junction over with the lowest ammount of deaths on their side. He at least wanted his own troop to survive If he could help this one, May be they could forge a friendship.

[OOC Kote make sure you put the name of the person you are with so they know who you are talking to.]

Ketol extended his arm and gripped Jorn's forearm. "My name's Kote Tal. I left Mandalore a while ago, and only just got home to help with this." An activity, in Kote's mind, that was suicidal. If the Sith were as powerful and skilled as he had heard, this was a battle that not many would return from. Kote had no doubt in his own skill, it was the skill of the Mando as a whole he was worried about. Even if they take the planet, it won't end here.

Jorn shook the man's hand. "A pleasure to meet you, Kote Tal. Welcome to the galaxy of fighting Sith for fun." Jorn said with enthusaim. He then turned around and looke do tsee in anybody was watching them. He didnt see any one and then said "If you want you can stay close to me. Since this is your first time, we dont want you to die now." Jorn siersouly didnt want others to die like he had seen. Children shot like they were targets. He just hopped that Kote wouldnt have to see that for his first outting.

Kote was silently relieved with Jorn's offer. "Thank you sir. I'll follow you when we hit the ground." Paired up with someone who had experience made him feel quite a bit more safe. Fighting Sith was a lot more difficult than tracking a burglar.
"I'm still as good a shot as any, so don't worry too much." Ketol said it with a smile, although that smile was hid behind his helmet. He was holding his shatter gun loosely at his side now.
"So how long do you think it'll be before we get on the surface?"

Jorn smiled at the comment he made. "Well then you have never faced a Sith cus they move like a viper." He was speeking the absulte truth when he said this. some were jsut fast and others were faster than the wind. "It doesn't matter about aim when you are fighting. its if you can take a beating. The sith will throw you around like a rag doll. thats proabably the best advice you can get here and right now." Jorn wanted the man to live. He was a fighter, and he could tell. The man carried himself like he could do anything, but still tried to hide it.

Jorn anwered his question. "That would have to matter on how long it takes to take over the skys. We need to make sure that we make the air clear for us and then we can make our assault."

Kote's hadn't been put off by the mention of the Sith's speed. If they were just going to throw him around, then this battle would be trivial for minor clashes. He'd try and steer clear of any more powerful Sith out there.

Kote had been slightly dissapointed about the battle in the air though. Flying was not his favorite sport, and it would take most of his courage to board the landing craft that would take him to the ground later. There were too many variables in flight. Complete trust in the pilot was needed, and that just wasn't gonna happen.
"Well, hopefully we can get the skies cleared out before we go. Certainly wouldn't want to hit anything on the way down."

Kal tapped buttons and pulled levers, maneuvering the small freighter into the hangar of the Duraanir to prevent it from sustaining any damage during combat. Stepping down the entrance ramp, he stepped towards those within the hangar. "Felt a bit lonely. You ready?" He asked to Jorn and another, whom he had not seen before. "What's your name, comrade?"

Jorn nodded his head. "Oh yeah. and I really want to test this new blade out on some Sith, so lets go and beat their arces." Jorn would let Kote answer the question at him. If the man wanted respect amoung them then he had to hold up on his own. Thats how he was promoted. He was fighing and wouldnt let the Sith take his postion over. and for that he fought bravely. He thought he didnt though.

Ryori Za'tire said:
"I am Master Ryori Za'tire, once known as Ryori Holloway, Warrior Master"
Teferi scoffed, spitting out some jawa juice on the deck as a Jedi referred to herself as Warrior Master. One of the Mandalorians at a nearby console looked up with piqued interested, but the little green Jedi waved his hand in dismissal. He began to rudely clear his throat while they kept speaking, pounding his little fist on his chest as if trying to clear a hairball of some kind, looking around at the others with big green eyes.

After prodding these two envoys of the Republic with his rude mannerisms, Teferi turned back to greet @[member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member=""][member="B'Arin Graad"]. Seemingly an adviser to the Lord Mandalore, this one also took some craning of the neck to look at in the face as he was addressing the three Jedi. The green Jedi hummed in agreeance as B'Arin showed them the grid layout of the planet, and zoomed in on New Canderous and the Capital. It was wonderous to the eyes of the Jedi that so much had been recovered since the Four Hundred Year Darkness. The mere fact alone that the Lord Mandalore had brought his people back together in the face of so much desperation and tragedy was a wonderful thing...

...it was just too bad they had to fight a war to keep it that way. Teferi turned his gaze to the Lord Mandalore.

Emberli Garett said:
"It would be my honor to have you fight by my side, Master Efreet."
Teferi nodded and hummed in agreement.

Emberli Garett said:
"You seem winded, Grandmaster. Would you like me to carry you back to the hangar?"

The Jedi Master laughed in reply at the Lord Mandalore's joke. "Winded you will be, when 500 hundred years old you are, Hm!" He brought out his walking stick, hobbling forth to match the pace of the others as they began gathering to head to the docking bay.

Something told the Grandmaster there wouldn't be time for these jokes when they hit planetside. A deadly enemy waited for them there, and already Teferi could feel his heart wrenching as the loss of life escalated. Desperation, he felt, to restore the balance on Junction.

He looked one last time out at the bay windows at the planet Junction, peacefully swirling in the cosmos, before heading down into the bowels of the ship.

Kal raised an eyebrow quizically behind his helm. "New blade? And what would that be?"

Jorn smiled at the Kal and pulled the Angel plade from his back explaning about what it was. "Its a Gun-sword called the Angel blade. the Mando armory wanted me to test it out for this battle, and I believe that it is given to the Rally masters and higher." Jorn then handed the blade to Kla to inspect it. It was a fine pice of work from what he saw.

"Very nice. Well done on the promotion! You recovered from Concord Dawn?"

Mirta waited beside her Basilisk war droid, She would ride into battle today on her terms, not someone elses, and it was glourous. She couldn't wait. She ignored the politics, she had taken the pain of repairing her amor, and restocking all of her arms. She would kill Daxton and any other Sith that she found. Mirta did another check on her new grenades, and smiled as everything was in order. She had double and tripple checked everything and now she was ready to go back down, she had gotten there late last time but that wasn't the case this time she was ready and she was going to kill the Sith, Every sith she could get her hand on.

Jorn smiled at the thought of Concord Dawn. "Yes I did. Still have a scar though. and Thank you. Apparently my fight with Daxton and the other Sith was what got me to be promoted." Jorn took back the blade and placed it back in the magnet on his back. He decidded that he wouldnt take his jet pac this time. ot would get in the way like it did when he was on Concord Dawn. Jorn then looked around for anyone who he may have known. He hoped to see Verz and maybe catch up with him about the fight they had with Kaine and Daxton. he then rememberd that Kote was still there and he said to him "If you see a Zabrak in black armor with a mirror helmet then you need to run. That would be Daxton Bane. I fought him on Concord dawn and he left me scars from the lighsabers he has. Not to mention he uses every tactic in the book to fight you reguardless of how moral it is."

"Heed that warning." Kal said sternly. "He took my left arm, leaving me with this." He flexed the fingers of his cybernetic replacement, the artificial light shining upon the reflective bronze arm.

[Hyperspace-Daxton Bane's Ship]
The words of Knight Bane rang out through the hangar which the apprentices Val'Ryss was given to command as unit. Most of her unit of apprentice Siths were coupled together or on their own. Wait, waiting is all they could do. As apprentices they were eager and enthusiastic to pour their deep emotions into their work, they had fallen under harsh regimes of the Sith and now they would release all their stress upon the Mandalorians and Jedi who await them. Even Val'Ryss, within her calm and cold meditative state, was eager to please her master. She was disappointed that she was not assigned to be by his side, but from afar she would show him the fruits of their labour. Seated behind the hologram of Bane, beneath the dark hood her golden eyes glowed. Val'Ryss called upon the dark whispers that occupied her mind and called upon the dark-side to empower her being, clear her mind and prepare herself.

The other apprentices watched as their commander showed no signs of life and activity She only sat in silence. But, those more apt could feel it- the storm of blackness that surrounded her. If one could see it or translate this feeling into an image, they would witness a dark maelstrom. Suddenly the silence was broken and Val'Ryss hissing speech slithered into the open spaces.

"Hope decays, Light fades and eventually darkness has its way." The words were heavy but the tone was reserved and it lingered in the air. The other apprentices stood in silence as they attempted to decipher the cryptic words. "This battle to come. This storm in the force, is but a drop in the sea of events to come. Though it may not come today or tomorrow. The light will always eventually be eaten by the dark. Such is the way in the world. Come children of the Sith. See hope decay and witness light fade, Children of the Sith- show darkness the way." Now the apprentices knew what she meant. They were the darkness to eat the light, in nature stars faded and died. so would the stars of the Jedi and Mandalorians, and the darkness that would fill the void would be themselves- the Sith victorious.
