I am not in Horde chat, nor do i wish to be. I also did not think that a Faction Leaders opinion were indicative of an entire factions opinion. I do know however that 20 other people in neither faction jumped at the chance to join this thread and help out both sides, so clearly at least theyre having fun.

I am sorry you feel upset and or betrayed by our actions, perhaps in the future things will go smoother.

All concessions were made to apologize and attempt to fix the mistake that happened in launching the invasion before the terms were completed. There was an honest miscommunication on our end, it was not done on purpose.

If you feel like continuing to point fingers and raise hell about an issue that has already been seen to and rectified, you will only succeed in perpetuating the negativity that we are making a good effort to quash.


So far I'm very impressed otherwise with how well people are handling requests for edits and clarifications. All Moross members are more than happy to do just that if there is confusion anywhere, all you need do is PM or tag them in a post here.

Now, who needs an opponent? I have yet to introduce my combat alt.

Sorry, MC people, we're at a bit of an impasse now that our leader has flew the coup, so to speak. We're just trying to get our bearings and figure out how we are going to operate from this point forward. I apologize for any waiting period this leaves us all in.

Edit: I would highly advise each side find an opponent or opponents, group up and board/raid each other as that seems the most obvious course of action so far.

Then why not just drop the thread for the moment and pick it up later when everything's simmered down? There's a significant amount of residual frustration and aftershocks occurring due to this thread, and if things could be paused until, say, Saturday, it would help with everyone's attitudes. A lot of people are getting seriously burned right now by this hot potato, and it needs to be kept in the fridge a bit so we can touch it without getting burned.

I'm going to say no to a pause and here's why:

- We have 20+ people in this thread going strong, having fun.
- Today is tuesday. I don't know what the majority of Horde writer's ages are, but the vast majority of Moross members are adults who have full time jobs and full time families to tend to. The thread will naturally slow, and most of us Morossians aren't known for post-bombing threads.
- If Dredge needs to take some time off, there's no hurry or rush. We don't intend to see this thread finished tomorrow. We are more interested in developing a fun and engaging story for all parties involved. Putting the kebosh on that for four days won't help that happen.
- From an IC standpoint, the real battle has only just begun. Let the minions have at each other for a while, then if/when Dredge comes back he can make his grand stand against Soliael. If he doesn't come back, we're happy to work with Ashe to keep things running smoothly.

Ironically enough, the idea of being on the DEFENSE against an asteroid bombardment amuses the hell outa me.

I'll step up for the fleet till Dredge comes back (or someone else takes up the reigns). The whole point of this character for me is having the ability to fill the gaps in writers/characters wherever they show up.
