Weekend Treasure Hunt 1: Derelict -- Winner Take All (contest finished)

Over the peaceful, neutral planet Monastery, quite close to the CIS, Republic, Omega Protectorate and Black Sun, and accessible to others as well, a ship has dropped out of hyperspace. It has no life signs; a droid skeleton crew maintains it and its weapons, and the living crew is massacred or gone. The ship moves at random, quite quickly.

The ship is plated, inside and out, with Mandalorian iron. Its cloaking device is apparently damaged; it flickers on and off along with the shields, allowing brief windows of opportunity for boarding with small craft. The ship is mobile enough that catching up and scooping it up with a capital ship is not feasible.

Inside, the ship is crammed full of a really ridiculous amount of deadly traps, including many, many machine guns, as well as the most dangerous anti-boarding droids ever made -- droids armed with paralysis beam weapons that can bypass both shields and armor, as well as sonic weapons that can break a Dark Lord's eardrums.

Yes, the ship has more than enough boarding hatches and docking clamps for everyone's little ship.

The internal vaults, also made of nearly indestructible Mandalorian iron, and protected by traps and heavy locks, are crammed full of treasures. One vault is closer to the front of the ship. It contains:
  • The Belia Darzu Holocron
  • A Jedi datacron on the Chu'unthor expedition and Dathomiri magic
  • A datacron on the complete works and traditions of the Sorcerers of Tund

The other vault is closer to the back of the ship. It contains:
  • The King Nakgru Holocron
  • The Dray Holocron
  • A Jedi datacron on the Aing-Tii Codex and the safe routes through the Kathol Rift
  • The writings of Odan-Urr

A research lab in the middle of the ship contains evidence of recent violence, and:
  • The Holocron of Velok
  • A scroll on Sith Alchemy, the kind that twists life and can make monsters with enough practice
  • A translated copy of the Taurannik Codex
  • A Jedi datacron on Force-imbued blades

The main suite contains a very small tree, evidence of recent violence, and:

The bridge contains:

I don't plan to RP in this thread, at least not as Rave. It's merely an opportunity for whoever wants it. Please do not show up and claim things in a handful of posts, or somehow know what's where or that the ship needs a fleet dropped on it-- don't meta, don't fleet drop, just have fun. The ship is well defended, abandoned, and feels like evil. There's obviously something valuable in there somewhere if you can survive the defenses and each other.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
The one pro of being involved in the Confederate government is early notice go the going ons. Like the appearance of random vessels. And ones that were at one point missing from the manifest. You know, stolen. If it was even the same ship. Hearing that something reminiscent of a Scion corvette was sighted, he wanted to be there with any and all groups from the Confederate military and salvagers.

No time to check in, just enough to cancel appointments, as he could call for assistance from the site, he took his modified Corellian YTA-1300 and sped off for Monastery, hoping that this random occurrence wasn't just that. Random.

Upon arrival he had gotten the word that there seemed to be no life signs and that the Stealth was... failing. Checking the ship and his radar, the survivalist turned business man began pondering the best course of action to get aboard.

-Why am I flying? I hate..-
He stopped as he felt the force ripple with evil, he checked the scanners.
-A ship, drifting?-
That's what it appeared...or well drifting case.
He ass flying a small freighter of nothing special to mention, only that it could board ships.
"Well...what's the harm in hailing it?"
He sent a hail to the ship, no response.
-There's no one on board?-
He scanned for heat signatures, a few popped up, then more.
-Droids.-
He moved in closest to the ship's position, there was already someone there boarding.
-Curious as to why I didn't get that ship's signature...-
He moved into the side, and began the process of boarding it.
With a standard battle robe, and his mask, the only weapon he had physically was his lightsaber.
-The dark side is creeping through this place...I can feel it course through my veins like spice would to a drug addict...-
Not the best way to describe it, but that's what he felt.
-Something Sith is on this ship.-
The process was finally complete, and he got up from his chair, and moved to the boarding hatch.
-Here goes nothing.-

YZ - 1200 Aurora Hawk

Ohh… I am a man...of constant sorrooow…” Chloe would sing softly to herself upon the bridge of her YZ-1200, the beaut of an Aurora Hawk. As a Warden of the Sky, she made the bulk of her time flying in the black monitoring the hyperlanes and ensuring that folk in trouble were being taken care of if needed. Searching and scanning for any type of distress signals.

So it was to no surprise that her highly sensitive sensors would pick up something out of the ordinary patrolling from Sanctum towards Protectorate territory. Unique.

A frown would mar her brow, forelocks of blonde hair falling over the right side of her face as the Aurora came within comm distance. The push of a button would activate the handheld black box in her hand, frequency dialed up to the Emergency Broadcast.

[ This is the Aurora Hawk, calling out to unidentified ship. Need any assistance? Approaching near your vector soon, wanted to double check if things are looking alright there. ]

She waited for a couple of moments, that frown deepening as only a haze of static seemed to echo from her comm speakers.

[ Unidentified ship, this is the Aurora Hawk, ya’ll in any need of assistance? ] more static. Chloe would go leaning forward over her piloting console, watching the distant speck of the Scion Corvette’s hull glint a bloody crimson red against the light of a distant star.

“Now whatcha doing out here old girl?” she’d say softly to herself, musing about the situation at hand. There was something about the ship. Something that made the tiny hairs at the nape of her neck rise in awareness. A dark forbearing.

Considering the most recent dealings with Bando Gora and Reavers, Chloe would send word as a precautionary measure over towards fellow Warden [member="Jorus Merrill"] and [member="Vaudin Miir"]. Seeing as how the Protectorate was nearby, she also sent word to the ODF forces [member="Ayden Cater"] in the event this would need nearby medical aide.

For a ship without lifesenses aboard, meant that something pretty bad had taken place. For the moment, the Warden would start to slowly move the Aurora nearer to get a closer look. So far, she had yet to spot the other two ships hovering like flies on a bantha’s arse. ( [member="Marek Starchaser"] [member="Romeo Sin"] )

An unidentified ship emerged in the vicinity of the derelict Scion-class Stealth Corvette. The transport itself was Niathal in class, but unidentifiable because nobody knew who it belonged to. The woman on board was a Sith Lord, one of a secretive nature who went by another name to continue the imperative set before her by herself and her Sith Master.

Darth Ayra scanned the vessel for points to board, before flying the Niathal into one of the access points closest to the bridge, where unknowingly the Sith Abattar was located. Donning a dark robe, she was accompanied by her Saberstaff, Lightsaber, commlink, datapad, disruptor pistol and combat knife. Ayra had turned off the commlink and datapad, which both happened to be Raxor I and Lenoi I versions, so as to maintain radio silence.

Climbing through the chute that had connected her ship to the Scion, the Sith Lord opened the hatch to be confronted with sounds. Something mechanical was heading her way. The lure of the dark side was on the ship and she felt the Abattar, although not knowing what it was yet. But she knew it was in the direction of the sounds coming towards her; and the hallway she found herself in was dark, narrow and only had one direction to go through.

Her hand spun her Lightsaber into ignition, the red light illuminating her way; and it was at that point that she was met with a terrifying sight.

Chaos soon unfurled for the Sith Lord.

The timing was all wrong. When he first heard a report about a strange ship appearing over Monastery, he gave it little heed. That was until he checked the report a second time. No life-signs, apparent malfunctioning cloak, hull comprised of Mandalorian iron. A courier crew managed to get on and recorded a holovid of their exploits. Just before the vid ended abruptly, the camera panned across an atrium and he saw a Selab tree. Ayden had nearly upturned his desk as he stood up in shock. This was the ship of someone within the Order of the Selab, and it was just out in the open. The defenses he saw within the ship, and without, he began to think that this was a vault ship.

Without delay, Ayden cancelled every appointment and headed down into his personal armory. A brief message was sent to Cira, saying one two words. 'Monastery. Selab.' He threw on his armor and quickly grabbed several gadgets to attach to himself. A Taozin amulet was set between his chest and his armor and he carried several more weapons. For anything else, he would have been overarmed by a distressing amount. But he knew the standing orders for the those with the Selabian Order; gather the most dangerous knowledge from around the galaxy and safeguard it. That meant the ship would have the most devious and dangerous defenses.

From a secret hanger on Corellia, a frigate launched and quickly sped towards Monastery. The entire time, he looked out one viewport into the chaos of Hyperspace. With any luck, Cira would meet him there, and with any further luck he would meet others within the Order of the Selab there. He sat in his office and passed the time by watching the courier vid to better understand what he would be up against.

Hundreds. The droids ahead were swarming towards her like predators to prey. But they were wrong to assume that they were the beasts in the compromising situation Darth Ayra found herself. The monster inside her rose, sniffing the air. She could almost hear the praise of precessing Sith Lords celebrating her anointment. The dark side itself engulfed her, yellow predatory eyes locking onto the GT-F0's that were coming towards her.

"I do not know their classification, nor have I seen these types of machine before. But they are obviously automated defenses. I am outnumbered and outgunned. But I only have one option." She spun her blade and flung it forwards in an arching saberthrow. Darth Ayra was a Lightsaber specialist, a real Blademaster of the weapon that had just been thrown forward to decimate the droids rolling in. Trained by the deceased Zabrak Sith Lord Ferus in Makashi, Ataru, Soresu and Shii-cho, she was also a master of Niman, Juyo, Djem So, Shien and their Jar'kai variants. She even had the ability to perform Trakata.

Her confidence in her abilities were then drained when her Lightsaber met one of the droids and fizzled out in between rolling feet as the crimson beam met their Cortosis alloys; and as it clanged onto the floor and disappeared among the boarding droids, automated turrets descended from the ceiling and locked onto her just as the GT-F0's locked their weapons onto the Sith Lord.

They all fired at the same time.

Cira would indeed meet [member="Ayden Cater"] there. One of the fastest ways to get there was upon the Disciple itself. All the while, Cira began to send pointed encrypted messages towards other Selab members -- those she had met upon the Baylan retreat as Talia Al Ghul.

The first would be sent to [member="Phylis Alince"], next would be [member="Ilias Nytrau"]. Within the holographic feed, she would appear to be the xenoarcheologist Talia Al Ghul. In it she would relay and show the holographic evidence that this is a Selab ship…. leading her to believe that perhaps this is a repository. Whose was up to debate, but the state of emergency within this was paramount.

With luck, those Selab members would in turn contact their triad’s, sending a chain of information to all Order of Selab members of the crucial state of this matter.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
And now space was getting hot. Clearly he wasn't here to start any disagreement or wad. It was a ship with no life forms aboard outside his border. Sure, his job might not be to check this out, but who else in the Confederacy was journeying the stars as much as he did? Making business deals, checking supply lines and yearning for a time that was much simpler than when he became Foreman.

Hearing the hails from [member="Chloe Blake"] and the Aurora Hawk on a variety of the channels he was scanning, he assumed she was here on the random, looking for the best interest of any crew. Smart girl, her.

It would almosy be a break to be a salvager and someone to check the space lanes. Maybe it was time to elect himself into an advisor role. Still keep his power but leave someone else in charge so he could play around the galaxy. As a Sith in training he wasn't a hero, but certainly not an all out villain.

"And as we wander on down the road..." He muttered to himself, pushing the Vagrant Wind a little forward and shining a flood light on the bridge of the ship. Lucky for him the Vagrant Wind was giving off a neutral IFF, and a Corellian registration. That was fine.

Maybe he'd not get shot down.

"This is the captain of Vagrant Wind to the captain of Aurora Hawk. Reports I've received are this ship has no life aboard. That's all I've heard. Any news from your neck of the galaxy?"

Whenever that was.

Once the frigate dropped out of hyperspace, Ayden ordered all stealth measures engaged and headed for the hanger. Already sensors were picking up the presence of several other ships in the system. Before he left, Ayden gave standing orders for the ship to covertly begin recording the transponders and models of every ship present. He was going to track down each and every person if it became apparent that they had taken anything of exceptional value. If this was indeed a Selab vault ship and not just a ship whose captain had a coincidental fondness for the Selab tree, then there were bound to be very, very dangerous artifacts on-board.

Taking a shuttle, Ayden quickly piloted his way in to one of the docking ports near the middle of the ship. Recalling what there had been waiting for the courier crew when they had first boarded, Ayden stood to the side and opened the interlock. A wave of sonic energy erupted less than a second later. Two small astromech droids stood there in the center of the hallway. Somehow, each managed to look threatening in spite of their diminutive stature. Ayden thought quickly about the best way to take them out. One of the courier crew had attempted to disable a droid with an ion weapon and had failed, so it was safe to assume these would have that same benefit.

Rather than destroy the docking port, Ayden opted for a slightly more inventive option. Taking out a small mirror, he used it to look around the corner without exposing himself to danger. Carefully, he took note of openings on the droids. After a few moments, he silenced the suit's audio channels and held up his left arm. Wordlessly, he dove across the hallway and sprayed a wave of electrostatic gel. It didn't have the original effect intended by design, as it was a sort of ion weapon variant. However, it did have the effect Ayden intended when he fired. It was covering the droids and their ports. He repeated the maneuver twice more. By the time the tank ran out, the droids had been completely covered in a crackling gel that refused to budge while the droid's attempted to open bays to extend other weapons.

Satisfied that the two droids were disabled, Ayden took a moment to ponder what to do with the droids and eventually settled for locking them in one of the dropship's storage containers. He'd study them later. Now that the immediate threat was out of the way, Ayden took a deep breath and began to spin the Force in ways he had not spun it in some time beyond simple training. The last time he had done this, he had very nearly been pulled apart by a certain red-head, then Prex of a private military corporation. With preparation's complete, Ayden's form disappeared from sight.

The smell of burning left an acidic taste in Ayra's mouth as she came too. It was quickly replaced by the pull of something on her leg, which she felt was wet. She also discovered that it was hard to breathe; and all these facts culminated when she opened her eyes to discover that a breach had formed in the chute connecting the Niathal to the Scion. No doubt one of the blasts had impacted it through the open crevice of the access chute, of which Ayra had forgotten to close due to the distraction of her impending doom, to the hands of the Lords of the Fringe and their GT-F0 creations.

Laying still on the ground, save for a hand rising, she felt the pull of the force weave itself over the access chute. The metallic barrier that served as it's door closed on itself. Pulling. Hard. Pain. Ayra eyes were diverted immediately from the door at the annoyance she felt. She discovered the remnants of a GT-F0, still active, tugging at her leg with it's leg, bleeping furiously towards her. She pulled herself away from it enough to stop the annoyance and took a moment to survey the damage.

Memories flooded back to her before her brief black out. Smoke was rising from the droids of the droids, now that the vacuum of space was not pulling it and the oxygen around them. Instinctively, Ayra had mustered a Force Maelstrom. It's protective bubble in it's first stages had protected her from the paralysis beams and sonic projectors of the GT-F0's, as well as the turbolaser shots of the overhead turrets. The resulting wave of force energy, combined with the paralysis beams, sonic projections and turbolaser had decimated the GT-F0's and the overhead turrets, whilst involuntarily widening the hallway sides way as the Scion's hull expanded in it. The smoke was from the circuits and burned Cortosis metal that had suffered the residual lightning that a Maelstrom created.

Slowly, Darth Ayra rose to her feet. She found that a piece of GT-F0 had lodged in her leg; and that one or two of the beams had caught her, despite the Force Bubble that had surrounded her. She couldn't move properly. But now that the chute had been exposed to space, she could not go that way either. Her only choice now was to push on and discover some way off the Scion; and in doing so, discover what dark secrets it had that had lured her way from Chandrila in the first place.

As she limped forward across the littered remnants of the anti-boarding droids, she founded the scorched hilt of her Lightsaber. The Force pulled it to her outstretched hand, still stunned and hurt from her bout with the droids to squat down and retrieve it, like she normally would of. Her thumb ignited the blade to test it and she found herself over joyed that it still functioned properly. Turning the Lightsaber off, she kept it in her left hand whilst her right arm hung limp to the side. Slowly, Ayra dragged herself deeper into the Scion's abyss.

It wasn’t long before Chloe realized just how interesting of a ship this was. There were three other ships she registered in her sensors.

This… was something else entirely.

Salvage perhaps? That was a bit cold hearted. None of the other ships attempted to hail her, which made her believe that these were pirates.

Chloe really did not like pirates.

So, the Warden made haste to keep under the radar as much as she could, avoiding the three other ships to go under the belly of the Scion.

A Force cylinder would make contact, allowing Chloe the method of attaching itself to the ship to an emergency access hatch. This is when Chloe activated her cloak. With a Hibridium cloak activated, she was in a double blind, unable to see out or in. Made it quite difficult to pick up on approaching ships, but it would keep the Aurora out of anyone’s sensors.

Geared up and ready to come face to face with what would likely be pirates… darkside pirates at that given the dark aura that she could sense. Chloe made her way over to the access hatch.

Prior to opening, the Warden used that one special trick her old timer of a master taught her long ago. Immersion of the White Current. With this she was able to completely hide herself within the currents to both inorganic and organic sensors, making herself invisible.

So when the hatch popped up and she stepped inside --- the one GTF0 droid out of the twenty throughout the ship that was primed to attack --- was mighty confused when it found nothing at all…

There was a flash as an Adril-class starfighter took the plunge through hyperspace and manifested in the system that held the ship of lost treasures which seemed to fascinate everyone so much. The craft was named after Adril Tythorin, long dead Eldorai Jedi Knight, and its sole occupant was her one student, Countess Siobhan Kerrigan.

Clearly there was a great deal of commotion in the system, judging by the amount of traffic, all centred upon the one vessel, the Scion corvette, that seemed to be drawing them all in like a magnet. Or perhaps they were drawn to it like moths to a flame. Siobhan might no longer have the military intelligence infrastructure of the Protectorate at her beck and call, but she still had her sources. Moreover, as a matter of fact she was also a member of a very secret, very exclusive Order ever since being initiated by her wife. [member="Phylis Alince"] had already become acquainted with it during a moderately hilarious episode on Kaeshana. A quick transmission was sent to Tegaea on Kaeshana. Best to let wifey know that Siobhan would probably be late for dinner.

Scans revealed no sign of life, no responded to her hails and so her small, nimble craft sped towards the derelict ghost ship. As she drew closer she was overcome by a sensation of fathomless darkness, much like a physical presence that sought to envelope her, yet at the same time was beckoning and drawing her closer. The ship itself felt evil, but that did not deter her. After all, she had stormed the gates of Gehenna and slain the Bando Gora God and had fought Lotek'k.

Underneath her leather coat she wore her custom-made beskar'gam, along with it she had brought an ridiculous amount of death dealers capable of spewing out an equally ridiculous amount of firepower. This might be considered overkill by some, but then that was her middle name. More to the point she had the feeling it would be sorely needed and her danger senses were well-honed. Expression grim she scanned for access points before settling on one and speeding her fighter towards it to dock, a good portion away from the bridge.

Her scarred features vanished as she put her helmet on and opened the hatch, disembarking from her craft. The lure of the dark side was strong on the ship but she did not mind. She did, after all, sort of have a working relationship with darkness. The hallway was dark and narrow, perfectly built for hordes of automatons to swarm her. The fact that, as scans had shown, the ship was made of Mandalorian iron was an annoyannce. Sounds of movement soon came her way and she quickly gripped her dual boltguns as she stepped into the hall. In the darkness her bionic eye glowed a bright crimson, providing some illumination.

Doubtless chaos would soon find her. Doubtless there would be destruction. The Butcher would be pleased.

He stepped through the hatch as it opened, it was dark inside, with only red lights blinking on and off. It was hot inside, and humid.
-Oh...what a welcoming sight.-
Small clicks echoed through the room.
It was rectangular, and had a few benches with footlockers, some were dent in.
"Oooh, that's a pleasant sound." He whispered to himself.

click..Click...CLick...CLIck...CLICk...CLICK.

The sound was right on him, and it more than likely was a droid.
That's when fire began to sprayed on his position, and lit the room in bright red hues. Romeo jumped to the side hiding behind a Footlocker.
-Damn it, wasn't paying attention.-
Seems danger was already upon him, trying to take his life.
-Gotta get the jump on this thing.-
More fire sprayed the footlocker, it was like thousand guns going off, the bings and zings echoed in his skull.
His red blade ignited, making the red hue grow in the dark room.
He snapped his fingers, and fire burst from his hand. He threw a blind shot at the droid, it hit, but just annoyed the droid more.
-Fire resistant?-
A grenade this time flew over the footlocker.
-Kark-
He leapt over to the side, the blast made him deaf, and a shrapnel went into his shoulder.
Blood seeped from it, and pain burned through his chest. He looked at his chest. Shrapnel was in his chest. Nothing lethal, but blood was beginning to come out.
-Damn it.-
More pain began to take his body. He didn't hear the the droid walk up on him.
A butt of a rifle smacked into his skull, sending more pain through his body. In reaction he flew his hand forward, sending the droid flying backwards. He held it down, and began to crush the droid with force.
-Not so tough now.-
He breathed heavy. Sweat began to form on his forehead, and under his arms. A rib felt broken.

CLANK

Someone boarded the ship, then another Clank.
More people came.
-What the...?-

At the end of the hallway that led back to the access point that Ayra had docked her Niathal, she became torn between two choices. She could turn left and unknowingly end up in the bridge, which had sealed itself with a blast door to protect the amulet there. Turn right and she would be heading in the direction of [member="Ayden Cater"], who was only two decks below. She could not sense the Lord Protector, due to him masking his presence in the force. But she did feel the distinctive feel of a powerful dark side object to the left. It was that feeling that pulled Ayra to the left.

The combined instincts of a battle hardened mind with the force left Ayra in a perpetual state of paranoid. Her eyes tore left, right, center and behind as she limped forward. Feeling was returning in her arm, she felt, whilst her neck was moving more freely as the paralysis beams began to wore off. No doubt, if she had been a Non-Force sensitive, she would not be able to recover as quickly. The Force, even to a Sith, was a wonderful thing to have.

No more droids. Perhaps the confrontation she had when she first boarded the Scion had cleared the deck of the GT-F0's? Unlikely, but she had cleared a significant portion to have brought herself some time to navigate the hall leading up to the bridge. As she limped, she felt danger in the force and the disturbance made her turn to the incoming turbolaser shot of an overhead turret. Instinctively, her right hand had clamped it around after the shaft of her Lightsaber in a Soresu formation, retreating backwards as the turret fired. She had not enough time to switch to Shien, in which she could easily count the shots and deflect them back onto it's aggressor. The automated turret was ruthless in it's efforts to destroy it's target.

More disturbances in the Force. Her eyes twisted in the enusing spins and arches of red light as her Lightsaber met each turbolaser shots. More turrets were activating on all sides. Madness. Suddenly, Darth Ayra found herself in mortal peril for the second time in as many minutes.

Docking upon the ship and boarding took a bit of work. But she was able to catch the dropship within her sensors.

Timing was of the essence. She knew Ayden would be here and with that she sent the Disciple’s automated astromech’s slaves to detach from the ship and await in a nearby system fully cloaked until needed. With the ship’s droids already on high alert, it was of no surprise that the remaining GTF0 droids were primed for shooting.

It took a bit of work to avoid getting completely neutralized off the bat. More Quy’tek mask and bent light illusion would ensure that she would not be noticed right away, either through the Force or through organic means. Thankfully, the droids had been alerted towards another section of the ship due to Ayden’s and the other two individuals presently in the midst of boarding, and being quickly dealt with. There were, after all, only twenty anti-boarding droids total on the ship. For now, it was a matter of finding Ayden. Currently she was near the middle of the ship but who knows what she would find.

In the distance she could hear the sound of blaster fire and battle. Eyes would narrow, but another would soon bloom within her senses.

She would turn to the left instead, moving forward quietly.

Well that was a rather peculiar droid if Chloe had ever seen one before. It appeared like a normal astromech droid, but from the activated stance and the small litany of weapons it held, it was some Ordo version of an astromech droid if she ever saw one.

Curious droid aside, she would walk on past it, carefully moving forward, keeping the currents of the White Current flowing around her. Her priority was not fancy droids or what have you, it was on any living thing that could potentially need her help.

So far, she didn’t see any pirates ( and since she was already aboard the ship, she didn’t get Marek’s comm, the double blind cloak made certain of that) but she also didn’t see anyone who was injured.

Ahead, she would hear the distant sounds of battle. Pirates? Her eyes would perk, and she would be soon moving towards it.

Her blue eyes would scan over nearby emergency signs, noticing several that would give rather informative details. General signage that every ship at some point had to give some sort of details of where emergency areas were at, thankfully the small emergency lights at the bottom of the floor were enough to light her way.

For now, she headed onwards, looking for any survivors towards the rear of the ship. A signage detailing a med-bay would be to her right. Along that path also would reveal the direction towards a research lab.

-Gotta make my way to the bridge...-
He pulled the shrapnel out of his shoulder, then used the force to carefully pull out the ones in bis chest. He set his hand on his shoulder.
-This is gonna hurt...-
His hand began to warm up at he used Convection, burning the wound close.
He gritted his teeth, and then screamed as the wound began to burn shut. A few minutes later after heavy breathing he set after the bridge.
He found a holomap on the wall, followed the lines from his position to the bridge.
-Left Left, Right, straight, left..-
He memorized the directions, and walked out of the room, and took a left, stopping as he felt the presence of another darksider.
-Great..-
He made his way down the hallway, then took the next left, and went down that hallway.
More firing came at him.
He blocked a few with his lightsaber, and dodged the rest. The right was bombarded with two more droids. Heat resistant again probably.
-How resistant?-
"Not this time..-
Another grenade flew from the right hallway, and he slung it back to them with the force, destroying one droid.
He rushed the last one with extreme speed, and grabbed the arms so it couldn't fire at him, he began to heat the arms up to melting point, and quickly released with a kick to it's chest, sending it backwards.
ire produced from his hands, going red, ti blue, then finally green.
-Melt down..-
He covered the droid in it,and it slowly melted away, more blood came out of his chest wounds.
-Damn it damn it damn it.-
He too the right then went straight, then one more left.
A figure stood before him.

Research Lab

There was an air to the ship, a darkness that made the Corellian nervous. It wasn't usual for a ship like this to feel so... wrong. Something truly evil had to have happened on the ship, and it wasn't too hard to find evidence of that. He was beginning to see signs of violence as he walked carefully through the hallway. Blaster scorches, blood spatter, the odd ruined piece of unidentifiable droid. A fight had broken out on the ship. The question remained though; between whom? That wasn't really important though. Not right now. Instead, Ayden was focused on finding something that would indicate the presence of stored items.

That first sign would have been a broken door that lay half-closed. Sparks flew from a ruined control panel, necessitating that the Corellian slip through the door. It was barely wide enough at the bottom for him to slip through without having to force the door open. Recognizing that someone could do the same, he leaned one shoulder against the door and shimmied it further closed, though only enough to prevent all but the lithest of people from slipping in. That was his first defense in the room. In the meantime, he turned and examined the contents of the room to better understand what kind of ship this was.

Several objects were up on tiny stilts under harsh light. Some held tanks with odd bits of flesh within, or sometimes small creatures. A few held up what looked to be ancient scrolls. He took a peek at a few of them and found that he didn't really understand what was said on them. Pads lay beneath them, hinting at perhaps the texts had been in mid-translation when this attack hit. However, there was one object that caught his attention. It was a small, fist-sized and pyramid-shaped, but the aura that he felt radiating off of it was unlike any he had encountered before.

Quickly, Ayden reached down to his belt and pulled a second Taozin amulet out of a container. Draping it around the holocron, Ayden then wrapped it within the Leviathan leather bracers he carried and stuffed it within one of two tanks he carried on his back. He couldn't safely fit another item in there. He only had space to grab one other item. He wasn't really sure what else there was that would have been the most dangerous. However, he eventually found a second item radiated a terrible darkness. It was one of the items that he had not been able to read but had a datapad beneath it. Taking a peek at the datapad, he only saw the words 'Translation Complete' before he grabbed the datapad and scroll. The latter fit inside the second tank, within the second Leviathan bracer, while he hooked the datapad onto his belt.

Only a single item was left that Ayden felt a darkness from. As he went to pick it up, a shock blocked his hand. This one apparently had a small force field up around it. Ayden could feel more boarding the ship. He could risk these two items falling into their hands, so he did what any good Corellian would do; he primed a pair of thermal detonators for a timed countdown and set them in hidden corners. With any luck, they'd vaporize everything within the lab before anyone got to it. Satisfied then that he had what he needed, Ayden wove the Force around him a second time and began to work on shimmying the door open once against so he could leave.
