Weekend Treasure Hunt 2: Diamond in the Rough

The Cyborg

Inactive Character
There was plenty of people and shuttles surrounding the massive Cathedral ship, and that tended to draw attention. The Cyborg had heard of the commotion, and- of course- had decided to join in on the game... So, a small bright green and orange shuttle appeared out of hyperspace just over the capital ship below it, gliding slowly through the void of space above the empty ship as it's scanning systems began to take stock of everything in the area. Several smaller ships, all attracted to a huge one... Only minimal life signs on the ship; probalby just those that came and found it. No crew. The Cyborg's metallic teeth bared in a sort of grin as he unplugged his scomp link from his shuttle's controls, just after instructing it to fly to the starboard side of the ship. Now he couldn't let all these others have all the fun, could he? He'd have to see what this new game was all about! The Cyborg secured his various weapons along his body, before stepping in front of the ramp, as the shuttle slowly glided in space along the starboard side of the abondoned capital ship. This would be fun.

The ramp opened with a burst of escaping air, and anything not tied down inside The Cyborg's shuttle was immidietly flung out of the now-open ramp like toys. Various crates and small tools were flung out into space as the same force threw The Cyborg out, allowing him to shoot out of the ship like a small beebee. "Door ajar!" The Cyborg laughed, an eerie shrill sound, as he hurtled towards the capital ship, manuvering himself so that he was flying forwards feet first in the zero gravity. The robotic man continued to laugh as his magnetic feet attached to the hull of the ship, and he walked along the side of it as if it was ground. "Window... window... Lookin' for a window!" The cyborg sung in a singsong voice as he walked along the side of the ship, searcing for a viewport.

She looked at them now, hearing the voice while eyes flicked around and spoke. "Because while wading through these undead is tempting I'd rather find the true master of this ship. Must be lonely trapped here in the cold and the dark."

"All systems dissolve into chaos. Order rises, but it is ephemeral. This ship has no master, infant, and in all existence there is no remedy for what the weak call a liability. Loneliness only exists if you are a fool."

November breathed heavily as the fighter of [member="Michael Sardun"] no doubt made the jump to lightspeed at this point, her neck bleeding slowly and her whole body aching. She quickly pulled her goggles up and ontop of her dirty blonde hair and then the respirator mask down with the remaining portions of her body armor. For a moment she stared blankly at the ceiling and then without warning, busted out laughing.

"Oh man!...What a rush!" She exclaimed as she sat up and threw her hands forward.

What was the problem? It would seem that all the creatures were focused on those who had other plans. He didn't really know much of what to do, but he knew that he would need to get to the bridge quickly. It would seem like hours before he would finally reach the location of interest, looking around the bridge. He would tell his pirates to enter with there guns ready, they pushed into the room assuming that it wasn't locked. Which he would take sometime to ensure that it would open without problem, despite his connection to the force. It was hidden with potential, but he never cared to try and unlock till he felt this raging power. Yet, he didn't matter to him of what it could do and not do, as he entered the bridge.

Whatever was in there, he would search around but not touch any of them yet. Focusing on the main interface that was the systems of the ship, despite the very old settings that the ship was. It must have been a very advanced ship of it's time, he heard the stories of the Bureau of ships and services. After it was clear for now, anyway...he would place the girl in one of the bridge chairs closest to him, while his guards would cover the entrance points. Yet, the BoSS were very feared and this ship was one of there play things, maybe he would find something of interest that would help him the long run. Yet, he would find the Navicomputer and start to slice into the hull that kept him from the wiring itself. Taking his time, as this would take sometime even with a lightsaber on his person.

Once he got the hull latch open, he would start to ramble through wires and hoping that nothing was wrong with them. Where he would need to take more time to set up the proper channels, trying to find the logs of where this was ship was before here. His force had started to manifest itself for some reason, like he was expecting some sort of ghost to appear out of nowhere. Maybe it was because the ship itself was filled with the force energy, plus it wasn't the good kind either or maybe it was. He couldn't even tell now, it was just odd for him as he kept working. Almost ready to start his game of chess with this ship, he doubted that it could be savaged but he could only try. Maybe if he could alter a program with enough time, he would process with the ship being jumping somewhere else.

"Then it has you and whatever you want to call yourself. Your not like us, or perhaps you are. This ship is older then most. It is not sith but you use spells we have used." She was afraid not yet, this thing was like a chilled presence going along her spine and she needed time. Invoking a spirit was easier then trying to bind one and if it wasn't along she doubted her had control enough to fight everything. Sith were dangerous not stupid. "Or do you just sit here and wait for one to come? Seeking whatever secrets you might have for their own. You've already drawn quite a crowd if the tales of ancient ones were true this could be a great way to return to the relam of the living and seek power."

"Your words are filled with mistaken assumptions, infant. I feel no connections of significance about you. Scrabble in the dust."

The spirit vanished, shrugging off the spell with casual ease, and others went in its wake -- dozens, hundreds, aiming to use [member="Darth Odium"] as a conduit to reach [member="Darth Isolda"] and some distant location.

Odium's body went taught like it was being drawn between speeders as one by one dozens upon dozens of spirits poured through him like a living hyperspace jump point. Mind after mind brushed his as he tried with all of his might to stop them. The large crystal that he had with him lay on the deck and he reached for it in the force to try and tap its power to aid him.

His body was filled with pain as his very fibers began to ache and the dark mark literally grew and writhed like a living thing across his skin. He had felt this before and like then he lashed out again and again in an attempt to drain them and bind them to him as they passed through. The flow of them slowed until the last one entered him and he collapsed to hands and knees breathing as if he had run the Hydian way on foot. He stayed there for a long time hoping he would find somethong of their teachings left on the ship, but out of breath he fell to the floor and lay there in the dust and grime.

Moving towards Medical bay

Insulting but she had her mind still and was moving. The datapad chirping while she moved around the room and continued forward into the ship. Her eyes flicking back and forth and saber in her hand while looking at the walls. The sounds and feelings along her skin brought her about and she looked into the one room at a medical bay. Her map had her near the midship and she entered closing the doors while her hands went to the drawers on the desk. The information and notes of interest to find a trail for the ship, it could prove invaluable while her saber was talking and insulting the situation.

Demons that was the word he would use for this ship, he hardly cared for them. Yet, he was poking around in one as he slowly thought of what to do. Checking through the wires, something was caught inside of them. Approaching the end of it, it was a red crystal that he hardly knew. So he pulled it out of the floor and looked at it with interest.

When he tried to wrap his hand around the object, he could feel a surge of energy from the force. It was unreal as it overtook him and unleashed a wave of resonating force energy throughout the bridge like it wanted to draw out a spirit. He didn't want to do such a thing, but slowly he was feeling stronger in the force from before.

"What the hell just happened?"

Pocketing the Gem, he would revert to working on the system and soon plug up his data pad to the ship. Trying to assume control and rebooting the systems, into a total restart that would allow some form of reformating to his tastes to make things easier, if it does work.

[member="Romeo "]would soon find that the ship, being twelve thousand years old, had little if any power, pretty much no functioning computers, and the computer virus that had stranded it -- that, and it didn't function in anything like any known computer language. Sorry.

The Cyborg

Inactive Character
After several minutes of searching the starboard side of the ship for a viewport, The Cyborg finally came across one. His durasteel jaws gritted in a grin once more, as the cyborg stepped over to the viewport, still laughing constantly. "Oooooh! Look what i've found!" Still grinning, he reached towards a small package hanging from his side which contained ammo for his Manticore grenade launcher. The Cyborg slowly bent down over the window, and clicked the ignition button on the thermal detonator before tossing it at the window. He quickly crouched down, his magnetic boots keeping him attached to the side of the ship, while the detonator floated aimlessly for a few moments in the gravityless enviroment around the window. Beep beep... beep beep... beep beep.. beep beep. beep beep, beep beep; "Aaaaaand BOOM!" The Cyborg shouted out, just as the detonator exploded, shredding the transparisteel viewport. A woosh of air burst from the now-shattered window, as the cyborg slowly stood up, and walked over to his new enterence. A pair of zombies were flung out of the artificial atmosphere as space dragged it's contents out, nearly instantly imploding under the pressureless enviroment. Before the blastdoors had a chance to close over teh damaged viewport, if the eletronic systems were even availble to do so, The Cyborg pulled himself into the damaged viewport- his magnetic feet keeping himself from being flung out like anythnig else that was in the corridor. His teeth gritted in to another smile as he glanced around the empty corridor, and slowly began to walk down it. "Now.... time for some fun!"

Objective: Crystals in Tactical.
-----------------------------
As he explored the ship Jeff took time to look through different areas of the ship. As it was rumored to belong to an old order that predated the current government, there had to be something of value. So far his explorations had led to nothing of value being found on board the ship. Yet as he headed across the ship to the main tactical area, he thought something might be there. It was a hunch. Being a human replica droid he was formerly human and thus had hunches, and things like those still. It was not a flaw, but part of what made him who he was. Ancient monsters guarding it or not, if there were light-saber crystals on board the ship he was going to take every single one he could home with him. Suvian needed them desperately because soon they were going to start producing light-sabers.

Of course in order to do so he had to learn to make a light-saber. This meant he'd need some education in that field. Fortunately he had schemes and plans that could be put to use in this situation. Finally after about 30 minutes of walking, he had arrived at the Main Tactical Area of the ship after using a Turbo Lift to get down to where he needed to go. Whatever was here, he did not know, presently.

Medical Bay:

Balaya continued to move about the room, the ship had no power but it was old enough they might still have been using text and notes. She could feel things around the ship still moving but the spirits were retreating and pulling at someone else. Good news for her as she spoke into her comlink. "Elara where are you headed." She was checking her datapad and the little path map it had was vastly incomplete as static for a moment and then crackling. "Master I am securing the airlock with the soldiers, some ships have left do you want us to move in?" That was a thought but sending blackblades into a ship like this might only work a little. "No secure the ship and keep it, I'll move from here and keep searching, if I find another airlock I'll set up a transponder for you to go to."

LOCATION: Corridors near Medical Bay

OBJECTIVE: One Healing Crystal of Fire

Aedan sprinted down the hallway with speed born from a use of the force reaching down to his belt he double checked all of his gear before he looked up gasping as he saw a corner he drew on the force as he spun a bit to make sure he made it around the corner. Sprinting through the halls on his way to the medical bay he started to breath heavier as he neared his destination finally coming to a stop just outside the doors he took a few deep calming breaths. After a few seconds he ignited his lightsabers with a snap hiss and holding the deadly weapons up cut three times to create a hole in the door before calmly stepping through it and making his way into the room weapons held up.

As he stepped through and saw someone there he audibly sighed and kept his weapons up as he started to search the room with the force hoping to find where the Healing Crystal of Fire lay so he could take it and be on his way. He had little time nor the desire to spend playing tag with some Sith on this ship. Knowing his feeble luck that was just who happened to be here now.

Medical Bay:

[member="Aedan Miles"]

Balaya looked up from where she was and rose from her seat. The gleaming of her armor while her cloak went down and she looked upon the one who had come bursting in. "The hell are you doing close the door." As much as we was willing to fight this one had come here with a purpose and that raised her interest while she brought her senses around with the force not focusing on the undead or spirits but now on Aedan and the room. She had come because she was exploring and it was on the way towards the bridge and captains room, he had chosen this room for a reason. "Why did you come here?"

[member="Darth Praelior"]

Aedan Miles shrugged as he spun a bit so he was side on to the woman and reached out with the force lifting up the pices of the door he had cut off and then clenched his fist focusing as he caused them to slightly be pinched tightly between the other pieces of the door. Looking back to her he let his eyes drift around the room as he searched out the crystal he had come for. "I am just searching for stuff I had a hunch there might be something useful here hoping I am not wrong. Don't worry about me not in the mood to fight." He waved his hand a bit as he started to shuffle through the things in the room searching through the force for a glimmer of the crystal.
