Welcome Miss Fenri.

Alexandra smiled as she cut at the training droid, pushing her body as fast as it could go without the force helping her. She was still getting back into shape after her pregnancy, using the times they are asleep to train vigorously and make sure she has time to train the students of the temple. Infact she was waiting for a certain mandalorian student now.

With that thought she smiled, both sabers coming back before she yelled and thrust them forward, skewering the droid as it shut down. "Good, haven't lost my touch."

With the advent of her force powers needing to be fully mastered Cassandra had been told by her superiors of a sub-faction within the Mandalorian forces who would be able to help her with her training. They were known as the Order of the Grey, dark and light side users alike who all belived in the ame goal. Knowing this had put some more insperation into Cassandra's mindset about taking on yet another trainer in the ways of the force; and after a long and arguous argument with her other force trainer within the Mando forces about how she wanted to be more well-rounded in her abilites.

Arriving to the temple via shuttle Cassnadra stepped out with only a small bag with her essentials. Given that she wasn't fully sure of the trials to come she'd backed lightly. As she exited she could see a white haired woman awaiting her. Assuming she was one of the trainers, possibly the one assigned to her, Cassandra had walked up to her and bowed, showing her greetings. Usually she would've saluted but wasn't sure if it applied to force users.

Alexandra turned her eyes to the arriving shuttle, blades still in the droid and she even let go of them, still impaled in the droid while she smoothed out her training clothes and let her hair down now that she was done with the droid. Only once that was done did she call her blades to her hands with the force and shut them off, depositing them into their hidden place in her sleeves.

She was wearing the same pure white training robes that she always wore, very rarely would she wear something other than that simply because of preference and now as she looked at the mandalorian she gave her a long bow before straightening up. "Cassandra Fenri, no? My name is Alexandra Faenor, Historian and Master of the Order of the Grey. It is a pleasure to see that the Mandalorians would allow someone to train under us."

Standing up straight after hearing [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"] introduce herself and explain her rank Cassandra nodded and said "Well they've already taught me enough in regular combat. But when it comes to froce training and the like, the amount of generals and captians and so on aren't as big." She smiled a bit at the joke before asking "I've heard that your Order has been part of the Mando forces, yet you're considered more of a sub-faction. Do you still aid in times of war and the like?"

"That is mostly where we help, i and the council members decided it would be best to move to your people's influencial area in regards to national borders... our arrival was a bit uneasy but we agreed with Strider Garon to aid with war and in training those that needed it, much like you now. But most of your people did not react like Strider, and would love to kick us out so i do hope that you don't react that way after we are done with your training. That is the truth of the matter no?" She smiled, there was not hate, malice, or disappointment as she spoke. Only joy and a careful kind voice as she turned and smiled. "You said you know how to fight? Hand to hand or with a blade if i might ask?"

Given her comment about how the Mando's treat their own force users Cassandra could understand. She'd dealt with that problem when her abilites first sprang up. Many of her fellow soldiers had often accused her training sucess on her using the force to help, even though she had no real control over it or for that matter even knew about it. Still the fact they were at least grateful for the Order's help meant it would mean a little more repspect among the troops.

When asked on combat experience Cassandra answered "Hand-to-hand really. I was trained in the Mandalorian Military forces after all, and they didn't have much need for blades if you were too busy shooting or fighting unarmed men who got the jump on you."

"Ever fight an echani martial artist?" She smiled and turned her body to face the woman, depositing her sabers to the side and removing her restrictive robes before rolling her next in training gear that involved a simple chest covering and trousers that would not restrict her movements. "Most Echani duel without restriction, but that is only if you fully trust the person, i am not doing so at the moment in both that it is a spiritual thing... but i will test you without the force before your training in it comes. The force is not a crutch and not a tool, it is a thing to be respected and if you cannot hold yourself without it, than to use it for your own success is not respecting it."

Before Cassandra could tell how she'd not fought with an Echani [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"] had already elected to test her abilites. Cassandra was a bit surprised but, given that they were quick to each it seemed, she understood her want to try and see how well she could fight without the need for the force or a lightsaber.

Thrwing her jacket off an putting her bag near it Cassandra readied herself. A quick strecth of the muscles and all before she stood in a combative stance. Once Master Feanor indicated she was ready Cassandra started off with a simple circling her opponenet to find an opening before throwing a right cross.

Alexandra smiled as she inched down into a ready stance, watching Cassandra and waiting fr the strike to come as she twitched when it did. Her right for came back and planted hard as her left arm came up and blocked the strike, using her right hand to reach up and attempt to grab onto the stopped right arm. If successful she would attempt to then twist her body around the arm and get behind Cassandra so that she could kick out the woman's legs. If not and she failed an opening would appear in Alex's right side, allowing for a strike.

The sudden movement of the echani master suprised Cassandra. She felt her attack practially stopped by the woman's sudden extension before she tried to wrap her body around. Cassandra managed to hold but her right side was still open for a strike right to the ribs. She groaned before rolling away and feeling where she'd been struck. Getting to her feet Cassandra took a stance again before trying to feint a right cross before attemtpting a left kick instead. Hopefully she would be able to take her off-guard.

Alexandra watched as another right cross came at her, confused and curious for a moment as she stabilized herself once more and raised her left hand again. Then the kick came and she cursed herself for not realizing how simple the feint had been, luckly her right hand intercepted the kick, but just barely as it planted itself in her side and caused a bit of pain. But now she reached down and trapped the leg, stepping into the woman's range to destabilize her and send her crashing backwards if she could. She was impressed already by Fenri, but how far would this woman go to win a fight... or rather what Alex was looking for, would the force start helping Fenri.

Another failed attempt. Cassandra went flying back and landed on the floor after taking anothet hit from another failed attack. This echani master was good. Probably better than half of the drill sergants and trainers Cassandra had during her time in basics. She stood and tried to think of something else. Perhaps something not as conventional as before. Taking another fighting stance Cassandra approched her, feinting another attack before trying something else. She tried to suprise [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"] with a force push, something she'd learned through trial and error on her own.

Alexandra watched as she closed the distance again, her own feet moving this time to intercept the woman again, the problem was that she didn't notice the generation of force energy in the speed it was done and smiled as the force push hit her, sending her back a few feet and she even jumped as it hit her, landing nimbly and smiling wide. "Well well well, i underestimated that.." She muttered, looking up to see if Fenri was taking the chance.

Given her comment Cassandra stood down and smirked, hoping it made a good enough impression on the echani master. She realized this was part of testing her, which meant the force would've needed to come into play eventually. Good thing it went like this instead of any other violent means. Otherwise she might have lost herself in the heat of battle.

Alexandra grew genuinely surprised as the woman stood down, hesitating for a moment before raising a brow. "Well, now this is a curious sight, done already? Also, who did you learn that from, that was a very smart use of the force power, and one that im sure most mandalorians would not take kindly too." She was very curious into this woman she had used the force at just the right time that Alexandra would have, but that was the difference though two strikes and she was willing to use the force where most mandalorians she knew held off for a while.

Given her questions Cassandra answered "I don't want to fight you. Especially not if all I have is my fists and the force. I should be spending it fighting actual foes, not allies. And I didn't learn it from anyone. I looked into how to use the force from older arcives and, well, thankfully I'd found some records of how the Jedi focus their abilites. I haven't gotten any farther than moving things and pushing. But I ave had that odd ability to sense things. People approching me or if someone who uses the dark side is near."

Alex's smile grew a bit listening t her and she thought over what was said by the woman. She was certainly ready as far as a mindset went in turn of who was her enemy. "Interesting, its good to find someone who took the time to train their selves in how to control the force. You see though that there is a problem in one thing though, you are right, fighting your allies is a waste of time, though i do suggest you make sure you remember the difference between a true fight and when it is necessary for your improvement... but for now lets touch on your abilities to sense things."

Cassandra wasn't sure what to make of that statement. If anything it was good yet apparently it was hard to say if it was fully good or not. Of course she knew real fights over pratice ones, but she belived a practive fight would involve something she hasn't used before. Like using a lightsaber. Either way at least she understood that the force was something a little more understanable than she thought.

Questioned about her sensing Cassandra shrugged and said "I think I've realized I've been able to do it for a while. It was like a little alarm in my mind. I could just....know when something was happening. I knew when people tried to suprise me or tried to do something behind my back. It was just...there."

"Hmm... close your eyes, i want to test something." She would wait for Fenri to do so, grabbing a stone from the ground and rolling it in her hand as she continued to talk and would start to circle her if she closed her eyes. With that side though Alex would also continue to speak and try to distract Fenri. "With your eyes closed i want you to try and keep track of everything happening around you. But it is important that you not open your eyes, even if you can remove your other senses too would be good but i don't expect that. Tell me what you can see without seeing."

Following her intructions Cassandra closed her eyes, keeping her arms to her side and her legs together in case. She could hear as [member="Alexandra Lianne Feanor"] was walking around her, given the footsteps, but that was about it. She kept turning her head down at them to follow the sounds but still kept herself still and her eyes closed. She was hoping it would help with figuring out where everything was while, hopefully, trying to evok the force sense in her to react.

"I know you're walking around me. I can hear your footsteps. But....not much else."
