While Jax had gotten the Rogue's Salvation there'd been some time to get things squared with the crew quarter's especially since I'd sent the crew into a station to get some supplies. Now I was setting up some gear I'd secured privately in a cabin that I'd designated as Crosswire's. It was more a sort of den than anything else but I'd decided that I'd rather go with my hunch than anything else. I mean he had a circuitry tattoo over his eye when we'd met.

For the better part of an afternoon I'd been setting up different monitors, hardware and even a minibar. Now the desk and study area was set up and I was working on lighting. Placing a few bottles of rum, vodka, and tequila. I had a feeling Crosswire would enjoy his new crib.

Now I simply needed to keep this going and get Jae's place tricked out too. Though come to think of it I had legitamately no idea whatsoever of what she'd like... Osik, well I suppose I could always send her a couple messages while she and Crosswire were busy on the station for hints....Yeah surprises were good. Taking a swig of super-caf from a flask I began typing up a message and moving out of Crosswire's new den to the main officer's deck...

As I'd been walking I'd finally made my way back to the Officer's Deck. I'd been rolling around ideas of what to do in terms of Jae's cabin and outside of a view of the stars and some calming blue lights I had nothing. Sighing I sipped some more of my super-caf and started moving things around in her cabin. Before long I'd set up a table inside her cabin and some soft blue lighting fixtures. I was still waiting on any full plants to arrive aboard but I'd had some small plant clippings aboard that'd begin growing rapidly in some pots I'd dragged aboard on our last fuel station run. Potting soil had gone in them and now I was carefully planting the clippings before setting them in to small alcoves along one of the walls in her cabin. Setting one of the small yet incredibly powerful datapads on her bunk I left everything as I'd set it up before switching off the lights and letting the soothing blue lighting cascade over the walls in a ripple effect.

I still had a lot to do on board the Rogue's Salvation but I thought Jae would enjoy what I'd done with her cabin. Besides once we'd gotten the needed materials, funds, and supplies to begin constructing a home base out in the mid-rim...

Having finished setting up Crosswire's lair and Jae's cabin I jogged back to cargo bay and grabbed a repulsor-cart. I'd decided to forego wearing a shirt at this point and pulling it off I tossed it onto the cart. Grabbing several boards of solid wood along with a drill and a few different other tools I began piling things together on the cart along with several cases of things I'd picked up on the station. After getting everything secured I began moving the cart back to the armory, there was an empty room nearby that I planned to set up as a training room.

As it was we'd all have time between missions but I didn't like sitting still or going over documents for hours, I needed to have things to do, I needed to be active and keep the edge I already had. Reaching the armory I began using the tools I had to drill into several of the wood boards. Using an attachment I drilled multiple holes along the board before taking a saw and quickly cutting several sets of pegs that'd fit into the walls of what would be a training room. Finishing up with the peg boards I dusted off the boards with an air compressor and bringing after cutting slots into the back of the boards I slid several metal strips inside them. Then carrying the boards into the training room I held one against the wall and activating the controls for this room I magnetized the pegboard to the wall. Setting up the other pegboard I did the same.

After getting the pegboards taken care of I grabbed several training mats and began rolling them out onto the floor. After finishing that I grabbed a few dummies and rolled them over into a corner then grabbed a heavy bag and shouldering it I moved into the training room to hand it on a kookk by the far wall. Taking a step back to evaluate things I smiled at my work, the only things I'd need to add were the Salmon ladder and weapon racks and it'd be good.

Having set up the training room for the most part I'd gone down to the cargo bay with the repulsor cart and brought back the salmon ladder and bar, along with several weapon racks which I planned to fill with different training weapons later. I'd also installed several other things in the training room, a module that'd allow for zero-g combat training as well having the profiles of known assassins to render a sparring program against. The module also had training in multiple other forms of combat in order to help give us all an edge against unfamiliar enemies.

Now I was moving some things around in the dining and lounge area to arrange it in a more harmonic way. An alcove with several chairs in the corner and a small caf table, a main dining table, food prep area by the kitchen area which was tucked away in another corner for ease of access to the rest of the area.

Off to the opposite side of the small alcove and across from the dining table was a small bar with caf machines and hot water dispensers for all manner of teas. I had to say I was quite proud of the improvements to the Rogue's Salvation I'd made today. Even without having set up any kind of home base so far I'd done what I could to make this place a home everyone could enjoy....
