Welcome to the Jungle! [OOC] [OS-Rep. Inv. of Kashyyyk]

[member="Ryan Korr"]

It does matter as they aren't undetectable to the Force, I recall the Sith meditation sphere grabbing Jaina Solo's shadow bombs and redirecting them away. The Vong couldn't detect them for awhile yes, but they are still proton torpedoes with added baradium. If you pushed them then okay, but if its a grip, that can be countered.

That makes sense given that the Sith meditation sphere only had to focus on fighting Jaina, and I totally get where you're coming from. No attack is uncounterable.

But can I share my perspective on it?

Amidst the chaos of battle, with thousands of troopers running everywhere, maintaining order and control over all of them, three objects each the size of a human head (or torso) receive gentle direction in the Force. And somehow, despite all that cacophony of death and all the other Force Users running around fighting and blowing things up with much, much larger uses of the Force, a single Sith Lord is able to pick up on those three objects and then somehow deflect them.

Pardon me if I'm a bit incredulous.

As the simplest answer is perhaps the best answer I'll just say that he Force pushed them toward the largest concentrations of troops he could see/feel, since it's hard to see much down there what with the Waves of Darkness and all.

I hope that's ok with you, they're just NPCs after all. :)

I wasn't suggesting I was going to deflect them, just wanted to bring that to your attention for any future conflicts :) . I'm perfectly happy having say . . . another 800 to 1000 die from that shadow bomb? Sound fair?

*Stares at the precision shots done over the beach that has several hundred square meters in volume (up, down, left, right, forwards, backwards, etc) of visible waves of darkness*
As I don't particularly care how many NPCs get shot and killed, this does not quite bother me as much as it would have if it had been PC's targeted, but I'd like the mention that these waves of darkness are literally pitch-black clouds of visible, palpable, dark side energy that blot out light and smother the light side. The counter to this is battle meditation, not a firm conscience.

I'd like to thank both [member="Dak Canton"] and [member="Rain"] for giving me one of the most enjoyable fights I've had since Alderaan. It made my lust to write this character even greater and made me re-ignite my fire to actually seek out battles within Invasions.

Good fight and i hope you guys had as much fun as i did!

It should also be mentioned that it affects the Sith and their troops, as well.

Y'know, for those of you arriving.

[member="Dak Canton"] [member="Rain"] you still want a fight or y'all to beat up now? Either way's fine. :)

(Gotta know so I know whether not to drop with the gazebo, since I'm on a bridge connected to it, or run back off the bridge in time like Surah's doing)

I'm not sure you have the forces to take the tree. There's still a lot of people on the tree itself with fighting raging up and down the platforms. It's not like sticking a flag in the sand. Opposition will have to be neutralized and locations secured.
