Rain and I are at Kachiro and coming for Shuduc Macar, Khan Ra, Darth Valtryx, and any of the other Sithies who didn't have opponents.
Oh good. :) Khan's making his way to the nearest objective, not knowing that they've all been more or less completed (I believe so anyway.) So I can be anywhere in the city you two are.

[member="Caleb Brolen"] - Spark shot three missiles at you and Armand, I think you might've missed that post because I didn't see a reaction to it in your most recent post. You would have to run right through the missiles/get hit by them to go toward the tree. Let me know if you have any questions!

Are there any more slots for Republic allies?
Sadly they were all taken at the outset and no substitutions are allowed - but thanks for the offer :)

EDIT - as you can probably guess, I didn't read the above post before posting myself :)

Feel free to join in on the rope-bridge fight at any time.

Just a heads up, granted it was a couple days since I've last had time to post, I did start an advance on the defending forces on the bridge. Right now, my character is under the bridge, and in my upcoming post (which I'm working on now), she will be topside of it.

I will include a link to my last post in my upcoming one.

Ok, well, since Kachirho is basically a bottom-to-top built city you'll have to advance up it. Like climbing switchbacks on a mountain. I'm sure you'll run into my group in a bit as we're higher up. But we want a PC fight, so just get your NPCs embroiled with other NPCs. No need for more noise.

First of all...I'm not complaining.

I need some clarification here.

First...I'm trying to picture what a wookie city would look like even after seeing pics of them on the internet...and I don't see them having skyscrapers...or landing pads.

Second...I'm picturing the massive wroshyr trees to be MASSIVE, which means they would have MASSIVE branches that starfighters probably can't simply fly through. Yet they are.

Third...how is it possible that Jedi/Pubs are simply "landing" in the city when everyone else had to fight their way there. One would think they would get shot down with all the goodies the Sith are using. AND if it was that simple, why didn't we just do that on the first day of the invasion? :)

I mean....its like the sky opened up and birthed all these PC out of nowhere...and conveniently next to the tree. This seems like some X-files stuff to me.

Be careful with questions like these, as they directly undermine how the Sith won Objective B.

Anyway, Kachirho is coastal, where the canopy opens up. The starfighters don't have to fly through the forest as they're able to fly over the canopy, turn around, and enter the Great Tree and its peripherals from where it faces the beach.

thanks [member="Veino Garn"] that actually helped.

Wasn't in Obj. B....so I wouldn't know what undermining you are referring to....I know what I'm seeing in Obj A.....and well, I know we didn't fall from the sky and land in the city...we fought our way there. I understand this is RP and not reality....but one would assume common sense would have to be in there somewhere.

We understand what you mean entirely.

Keep in mind that you're offense and not defense. You're going to have to fight to claim territory, transport and deploy additional forces, dig into positions, etc., whereas we, as the defense, are already going to have them.

[member="Darth Venefica"], happy to answer your questions that pertain both to my Alt of Dak and myself.
Firstly, starfighters in Kashyyyk, say whaaat? Totally hit by branches, right? Wrong. Several reasons.

1. The beach has no branches. The beach is devoid of a treeline. The beach is specifically where both Talon and Ryan Korr flew their star fighters and bombed the approaching Sith. Then they bailed out of their craft before reaching the treeline.

2. Wait, so how did you fall so far and survive? Canon is full of numerous instances of Jedi using the Force to leap great distances and slow their descent. I personally used the momentum provided by ejecting from the star fighter and transitioned that into a downward descent onto the top of Kachirho, from where Ryan traveled to get to Corvus. So we landed here by flying here and dropping through lots of branches. I will have it noted that we suffered damage in falling and, unlike other Sith forces transitioning from B to A or C to A, we did not bring any NPCs. That makes it a lot more feasible.

Now, as for your last problem. What in the world does Kachirho look like? Here are several pictures.

On the outside it is rimmed with rope bridges and platforms:

And on the inside it looks like this:

Hope that satisfactorily answered all your questions. :)
