Well, this is new.

Flinx followed the words of his master back to the training room his arm was bleeding again when he had cut himself. He was very hesitant to come in cause he felt like he shamed his master and shamed himself. Furthermore he felt guilty and upset not wanting to be called out for the outburst so in soft tears he knelt beside his master and cried. He felt his master close but did not speak to him. The connection had been made and now his master knew that Flinx was punishing himself for everything that happened to him. Before he had blamed the force for everything but now it was himself. He had strayed from the path so it was his fault and as a year of anger and hatred melted away the young Flinx cried.

It did not take Flinx long to return to the training hall, yet is was easy for Adron to sense all was not right with him. He looked to the boy as he stood in the center of the room, tears falling down his face.

The Count exhaled softly before standing up and making his way over to a cabinet on the far wall. "You're emotions will always be a distraction, in time you'll learn to deal with them." He said passively, searching through the cabinet for a few moments. After finally finding a roll of bandages Adron returned to the center of the room. He took a knee beside the boy before wrapping a hand around his wrist. "Hold still."

He noticed the stain of blood when the boy entered. Adron pressed his hand over the wound, exhaling as he drew from the Force once again, this time as the soft blue sparks flew he was able to enhance the wounds healing process, ensuring it would be safer from infection. "I won't say I understand how you feel, it'd be a waste of time. But I do know what it's like to feel like a failure right after losing everything." He said.

While he spoke he began to slowly wrap the wound on the boys arm in a bacta bandage. The thin blue material would feel cool to the skin and relieve any pain from the wound. "Not to say I haven't had it good....I've just had my bad as well. I grew up with two loving parents that taught me the ways of the force, politics, military procedure, business, and whatever else you could think of. I was hailed as a prodigy because of how easy it all was to me." He explained.

"I had two older sisters and one younger brother, my oldest sister was the star child though. Her skills in the Force were far past what I could hope for. She took after our father even more then I did." He chuckled.

"My family was big on defending our beliefs, and we believed in a strong military system. When my planet, Serenno, joined The Dominion that became a possibility. Of course inviting foreign soldiers would mean the Counts of Serenno would have to cede some of their power to the government above them. They didn't like the idea of that." He bit down on the side of the bandage, allowing him his extra hand so he could tie off the end of the device.

After freeing his lips he cleared his throat before continuing on. "You see my father was a very influential Count, he was loved by the people. So if he suggested the planet do that....they'd agree. Well the others didn't like that much at all. So they fought the votes and bills for about a year. Sadly they were beginning to lose, my father's plan was all but a reality."

"So....they decided they weren't going to allow it to proceed. They were going to murder my father. Except the only thing is you can't just murder a Count, lord of his house, and think there will be no repercussion. They knew if they killed him my mother and sisters would hunt them down to the ends of the planet. So they decided to kill us all." Adron explained with a simplistic tone.

"We were invited to a council meeting, the entire family, to resolve the differences the other Houses had with my own. During that meeting we were unarmed as was expected. The other Counts hired mercenaries to gun us down. I watched my father, mother, and all my siblings die right in front of me, hell almost died myself." He said with a smile.

"Were it not for The Dominion catching wind of the plot, I would have died. Dominion Peacekeeper's breached the hall and saved me within an inch of my life." He said, checking the integrity of the bandage. "So, you see we may not all have it as bad as others, but you learn to keep moving regardless." The Count explained.

"I-I killed my father, with his own lightsaber. He tortured my mother for most of my life. I left her to recover on kashyyyk, but after a few adventures of mine." He starts to break down again slumping to the floor. "She died after I left, not even a week later. That's when I started down the path that led me here. That's when I lost my sight."

Again, the boy fell to the floor, threatening to break down before the Count. Adron crossed his arms as he listened to his words, before finally offering a soft exhale. "Get up." He commanded, no longer allowing choice to be a factor in the boy's training.

Adron turned back towards the center of the room, his arms clasped behind his back. "We have work to do, you can sulk on your own time. For now, we're getting your sight back." He stated, not awaiting a response. The Count glanced back at the boy, gesturing towards the center of the room where a soft cushion was placed by Adron for his meditations.

"Sit on the pillow." He said, glancing around the room for a moment before tapping his foot expectantly.

Flinx complied knowing where the pillow was from privious training sessions. He did his best to clear his mind. He let the thread of connection open as wide as he possibly could and let his master in.

Adron stood to Flinx's side, crossing his arms over his chest as he watched the boy drift into a focused meditation. Once he could finally see that the mental inhibitors that full consciousness provided were gone he too closed his eyes. The Count reached out with the Force, probing the boys mind, opening the doors that had once been closed. Through his emotions Adron was able to construct a clear path to his memories.

How tormented this boy has been... He mused, flowing through the seemingly endless scroll of bad memories. It was no surprise that what was left of this boy was a shell of his former self, after so many negative encounters. Yet, there was still life in the boy, and in that there was hope. Adron focused on the few positive memories the boy had, attempting to bring those to the front of his mind and thought process, shifting around the bad memories in hopes of allowing him time to subconsciously come to peace with them.

He continued to flow through Flinx's mind, speaking softly as he did. "So much pain...it will always be there until you do what is hardest for men to do, accept it." He said.

Flinx thought back in his masters direction, "at one time I did had accepted it. I kept my father's lightsaber to remind me of the man I had to avoid becoming. I kept my mothers lightsaber to remember he sacrifice so that I may be here. I was healed by the force weilders because they said that the force had a plan for me. However when I started loosing stuff that was precious to me.... that's when my anger with the force moved in. I was denied what I was promised. I was denied the calm peaceful scholarly life I wanted and made blind to ad insult to injury. Now as you said. I need to let go. That is the hardest thing because I fear that letting go will lead to me forgetting that which I knew before. My promises to my mother to never fall into the traps my father laid for me in the dark side."

Flinx's words were true and spoken from the heart, yet they did not change the reality of the boy's situation.

"Listen to me Flinx, none of that matters now, what matters is your next choice, your next action, your next inaction. You are in a dangerous place and if you wish to survive you must find some semblance of peace. Now....focus on the good." He counseled.

The Count placed a hand on the boy's head, exhaling softly as he spoke to him. "Focus...." Again, Adron would fill the man's head with things to distract from the negative events of his life, if nothing else he could at least provide a bit of distraction.

In Flinx's and the count's mind two faces were all that appeared for the good thoughts. One was the count's own face and the other was Rah. They were the only two things that Flinx concidered good. Making these two people happy and proud were his only goals right now. His life was now committed two these two people. Slowly but surely as he thought of the two his vision started to lighten to where he could tell where light sources were.
