What ever happened to Naboo?

Still trying to catch up after a 4-month LOA. I know the Techno Union owns it now, but other than that I don't have a clue. What happened to the former noble family? Is there a new king/queen, or is Naboo governed some other way? How are Gungan relations? Etc.
