As the door was forced open, a defender class light-corvette would suddenly fly down, just in the nick of time. It seemed that the emergency message had been heard and Josh had managed to find the place. As the Bounty Hunter would draw the whip, the ship would begin firing at him through the doorway. It was unlikely the blasts would hit, and would likely just serve as a distraction to keep him away from Lady Kay. But the real danger would come from the ramp, which was extending while the ship was still in the air. A cloaked figure would run down the ramp, before taking a leap off it, aided by the Force to enhance his jump, as he would land on his feet nearby. A snap-hiss could be heard as a lightsaber would ignite, the blue blade humming as the figure, cloaked in brown robes, would advance on the building and toward the Bounty Hunter, lightsaber drawn.

Neither of them would be able to see his face under the hood, but Kay would know just who was under it...

Sareen hissed as the stun shots and the laser bolts disabled his helmet's systems. He tore it off with great ferocity, not needing it's services anymore. When he heard the sound of a lightsaber, Sareen knew was about to happen, "A Jedi? Once again Lady Kay, a knight in sssshining armor hassss come to sssave you." Sareen drew his light saber, in adjunct to his whip. This had not been the first time he had messed with the likes of the Jedi, and it would not be the last. To make sure [member="Lady Kay"] would not leave the party early, he threw a CarbonTrap* behind the counter she so gladly hid behind. Sareen turned his attention back to the Jedi, it seemed Sareen had the first move. Sareen charged in with a lash at the legs and a slice towards the face, he might not know how to use a lightsaber well, but he was a master with the whip.

Kay felt a little better at having done something to slow her attacker down. And then she saw him. [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] found her! And not a moment too soon!

Her eyes returned to [member="Sareen Zar"] as he spoke. When he threw the carbon trap in her direction, she reacted by swinging the cast iron pan at it to send it flying. She had never encountered a carbon trap before and with something physical being thrown at her, her instinct was not to fire at it, but to hit it away from her. Whether or not that would work, she would find out soon enough.

The Bounty Hunter would throw their helmet off, and the Jedi Master would smirk as he would throw off his hood in response, long blonde hair complimenting brimming brown eyes that stared right into those of his opponent. "Wow, Kay, out of all the knights in shining armor you have, you picked me to be your taxi and bounty hunter smashing boy today? I'm almost touched... Almost" The Jedi would joke casually as he would brandish his blade, spinning it around as he got a good grip on it, every fiber of his being shaking - not in fear - but in trepidation, in an eagerness to get into the thick of it. It was something that happened at times... A warriors spirit, perhaps? Something in his blood... He wasn't all that sure, to be quite honest. But that wasn't what mattered right now. What mattered was that he had a good fight on his hands.

Josh would keep his guard up as the Bounty Hunter would charge, hopping over the whip when it went to his legs, then getting his blade up when it would go for his face, bringing about a clash for a moment before the Jedi would shove back, opening some distance between the combatants before he would raise a hand. Should [member="Sareen Zar"] not have a way to counter it, he would find himself being telekineticly lifted a few inches off the ground before flying - hard - straight into the wall.

Sareen snarled as his back hit the wall. His back had never been the same after his first duel with a Jedi, it now inhibited him from fighting at his full capacity. This Jedi was no padawan, and Sareen could see he had already lost. Once again Sareen had been foiled by some friend of [member="Lady Kay"] 's. It was insulting as a Trandoshan and a bounty hunter. But now he needed to plan his escape, with his damaged spine he would not be able to make his normal escape of charging out. Sareen had to think of one quick, he did not have all the time in the world to sit slumped against a wall. He noticed the carbon trap skidding across the floor, Sareen picked it up and re-equipped it to his belt, he would have to fix it later if he ever made it out.

Sareen began to activate some of the controls on one of his gauntlets, the whip retracted, and two energy shields activated, one on each gauntlet, replicated of what the great bounty hunter Durge would defend himself with. Next he ordered his Lambda Shuttle to fly back to his location and hover over the diner or cafe, or whatever this eatery was.

Sareen engaged [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] flailing the blade left and right, parrying each of the Jedi's strikes with his energy shields, sneaking a swipe with his claws here and there.

Oh good! It worked! Both parts! [member="Joshua DragonsFlame"] arrived with his humour in tact. Also the cast iron pan proved to be a good defensive weapon. Who knew?

"Sorry my friend. Too many cooks in the kitchen. I don't want to give away my recipe secrets." She watched, blaster and cast iron pan at the ready, just in case. It was good to have friends like him.

As soon as he charged, he had his lightsaber at the ready, swiping at the energy shields as soon as they came his way, but keeping his senses alert in case he tried to attack in some other fashion. He didn't expect him to use the shields for attack, they wouldn't do much damage. Quickly, he would parry, stepping to the left to try and get himself in between [member="Lady Kay"] to serve as a shield himself. Quickly, the Jedi would raise a hand, clenching it and suddenly lifting the hunter in the air for a short moment. If he knew how to break out of it, he may be able to, but Josh wasted no time in clearing some distance between them and trying to move the battle further from Kay as he would unleash a Force Wave on [member="Sareen Zar"] that would send him flying out the door.

Of course, he had unintentionally given him exactly what he wanted...
