What was your most memorable/fun memory on Chaos?

What was fun about it? What memories do you specifically recall that made that time memorable? What roleplays, what stuff was going on, what drama, etc, etc.

Let's throw don on some nostalgia today and chat about the yesterdays of Chaos.

In Umbris Potestas Est
Being one of the three Dark Lords of the original Sith Empire. Then everything went to pieces and all the effort put into the faction got wasted.

Fun times. Having to deal with the ridiculousness that was constant bamboozling over Subach/Emeritus was fun too. Always enjoyable having to rebuild a company twice over and getting screwed on dealings with factions you exclusively built products for.

Then there was Circe. Fun character, getting ping pinged around from faction to faction as they ended up either dying off or changing management. At least she had a good ending.

Plenty of fun times. Might be worth coming back and seeing what else has come up.

Some of my favorites actually deal with non-combat and more romantic things (alternately some of it is pretty psychotic).

I've loved writing team Justyx, with @Nyx. I miss writing with Nyx. James' female relations have been fun, probably part of it is the OOC jabs we all make at it (myself included). I can't tell you some of the things that have been said about James OOC-ly in humor... mainly because of the PG-13 rating. But its all good fun. I love writing his family side, I miss writing with [member="Jessica Justice"] and the great familial bond they have/had. I look forward to writing that again when your life slows down, Sylnt. I've loved the drunken humor that James has experienced, and I really love the way he can freak [member="Lady Kay"] out with his antics. Such fun :p His angst is truly fun to delve in to the darkness of pain head first and explore what that means to hurt and how to process it. I love writing him with guilt, agony, and pain. Its really fun to make someone this fake suffer this much.

Yeah, a lot of what I love most about chaos has absolutely nothing to do with events (I have done zero of them) and everything to do with who I write with.

I love writing @Mystique. She was/is Fun. I wanna revive her and do her where she left off. Threading with [member="Joza Perl"] really has a chance for Mystique to go to new places if/when I revive her. Her psychotic love, her muteness, everything about Mystique I miss.

With Ardgal, I've loved writing with @Rashae. Honestly, so far these are some of my favorite threads thus far. I love the evolution I've been able to have with Ardgal's character writing with her. The stuff with the Mando'ade has been fun, I look forward to where we are going next. Even though I don't PvP like... at all, fighitng the Dominion for Mandalore was pretty fun. I had a great writing partner.

I've loved writing Akio, his pure Zen is addicting. Writing Dryzl's arc with him was one pretty fantastic thing, to see him morph from a stone-cold killer to a zen Force monk was pretty awesome.

Now if you will excuse me, I have some old characters to resurrect....

If you want me to be honest my favorite memory is how relaxed and chill people were after i returned from a very extended hiatus that caught me by surprise. I expected some anger and resentment but people just caught me up on what I missed and helped me get back into it. And since then Darlyn's had some much better stories than I had hoped for. But the relaxed and composed nature of everyone, the patience, that was really nice to see.

I honestly think my favorite time on the board was when i first joined back in the decline of the One Sith days. I didn't stick around for too long back but the RP then just seemed a bit more to me, it could just be that was me just enjoying getting into Chaos but still. In these days it isn't stories i like as much as certain people i enjoy writing with like, [member="Anya Loma"] , [member="Tanomas Graf"] , and [member="Raejar"] .

Kay-Larr

Sphaera Tea Company Owner
The most fun that I had when I started was in trying to bring down the Hutt Cartel and it's slavering by myself. Every mission was different, was done with dufferent mercs, and it brought the Batman/Joker relationship between Kay and [member="Thraxis"] .

Love writing with [member="Veiere Arenais"] . The relationship between his character took a year irl time to develop into them admitting their feelings and getting married. So many cared for only one night stands, ceasing to write when I refused, so it was refreshing to come across someone both loyal and patient. And still their relationship continues to grow.

[member="Ghorua the Shark"] . One of my favourite writing partners. Their story has grown so much and is ever evolving. Truly the Herglic is one of the bestest friends that she's ever had.

[member="Connor Harrison"] has always been fun to write with. The two characters always argue...lol Never know what will happen.

So many good things and people that easily eclipse the bad. Can't have a better stress reliever than this :)

Almost every day of Chaos is an adventure; You write new things, you meet new people, and so much more.

But my most fun memory has to have been building the Imperial Remnant from the ground up. The last dozen Imperial-oriented factions failed horrendously, but I feel as though I've done something that they couldn't do. But most importantly, it wasn't me alone.

[member="Baron Morcus"], [member="Desmond C'artyom"], [member="Kayrce"], maybe [member="Adron Malvern"] if he ever made a character :p.

It's been a fun almost-eight months.

Rusty

Purveyor of Fine Weaponry
The OS coup was freaking great until the drama took all the fun out of it. I've always liked writing arty stuff, and dropping heavy hate on the palace rates as one of my top five RP moments, full stop.

The story where [member="Laguz Vald"] and Rusty worked over a captured Mando to convince him to teach Rusty to forge beskar is up there too. A little romance, a little intrigue, a great many actions of questionable morality, and lots of alcohol added up to a nice story that wrapped up neatly. So few do.

Blessed are the peacemakers
My first roleplay was fighting Velok on Yaga Minor. That was fun.

My favorite though has always been Havoc Squad. All of the roleplays have been fun, especially the first ones intially with Louise. The speed dominion was hilarious.

  • Loved everything about the Primeval for that brief time they rebooted. The rebellion was one of the most fun things I've done on Chaos.
  • The TSO skirmish of Midvinter was also amazing fun.
  • Those days when I admin'ed for the Silver Jedi were super fun. <3 you guys even if I went dark and betrayed all of you.
  • Everything I've ever written with the following people: [member="Darth Imperia"], [member="Irajah Ven"], [member="Matsu Xiangu"], [member="Diana Veneris"] and @Vaylin. I could go on but I'd be here forever so let's leave it there.
  • The Harlem Shake button.

Sanya Val Lerium

Neutral, Queen of Her people, Neko
My first invasion on manaan. I felt so lost and confused but it was the place where my rp life really took off. If it wasn't for Corvus (still miss her) the I may have gave up pretty early on here and never have met my beautiful partners. So to chaos and Corvus I owe you both my gratitude for helping me find love. X3

Having been here for a number of years now I have a few of them, but will concentrate of the biggies. OOCly, developing and creating the Order of the Silver Jedi with my main at the time, Iella E'ron. I had such great fun with this and those that decided to come join the faction and help me establish it. Watching is grow from an idea into something that even I did not envisage was simply amazing and I thank all of you that have been apart of it over the time. Also in this era for me, was my decision to kill off Iella who was grand master at the time, and asked [member="Darth Carnifex"] if he would have the honours. That part of her story was hard to write but I enjoyed it very much, not only because it was the end of a great character for me, but to be able to do so with another one of our great writers on the boards.

Now, and continuing to be a great thing for me is the story developed for Coci with [member="Thurion Heavenshield"]. This entire development has become something I had never thought of nor expected and from an average story line for her, came a great one and I thank him for all that.

As for battles whether they be skirmishes invasions whatever, one word. Metalorn. ;)
That was my first big thread with a very inexperienced padawan, and it was the best fun I have had in these types of threads.
