What's My Line

Anastasia had been mulling over what she wished to do with herself for quite awhile now. She had learned the basics from the witches and how to center herself. The young woman thought that was where she belonged but after a discussion with someone from her past learned that perhaps it wasn't.

She wished to learn how to use her mother's lightsaber as it was the only thing that she had from her. Ana also wanted to be a Jedi like her mother. She felt that she could do more good in the galaxy that way. The Republic wasn't for her though so instead she seeked out the peaceful order of the Silver Jedi.

The temple wasn't unlike the one she had gone to when she visited the Republic except for here she felt a sense of calmness and peace. It was something she normally only felt when alone in her little cottage. This was nice but she was sorely out of place as everyone was dressed in robes and she in jeans and a t-shirt.

Matsu stood there, she had been healing and growing stronger... even compare to what she had been able to do she felt stronger now then she was then. It was an interesting feeling she had enjoyment with the situation while flying over the one wall of the temple and letting her mind wander. She knew one of the students, a new one, someone she had met before was here to learn. That made being here in the temple quite a sight as the jedi knight standing in a bodysuit with the duraplast plates on it had an enjoyable sight to behold. She saw Ana there before dropping down and letting her eyes rove over the woman who had grown from the small girl who wasn't feeling as strong with her spells. Matsu spoke ovffering a small bow. "Ana it is good to see you again."

"Matsu," she smiled with a small bow herself. Its nice to see you as well. I didn't know you were apart of this order." Ana had known that she was a Jedi whom also knew witch spells but besides that Ana didn't know the order. The young woman felt silly that she hadn't asked her about that. They had instead had a few fun adventures together.

"This is a beautiful temple." She mused as she glanced around a little before looking back to Matsu. "I was hoping to find a Master and learn the ways of the Jedi. I brought my own lightsaber." She wasn't sure if the woman in front of her could help her but it was worth asking.

Matsu kept her eyes on the girl as she spoke with a bow of her head. "I am, the silver jedi took me in and healed my body when I was wounded." She held a smile on her face though thinking about it while she walked and clasped her hands behind her, the girl were was quite a sight to behold and Matsu spoke. "A lightsaber is good but it is not the only tool a jedi can use. There are many things in their arsenal and after seeing what you can do I know you have more skills then many others which is why... there is only one person who could train you here." She paused. "Me, my skills should be passed on and helping you learn to be a strong jedi can do that... if you are ready that is?"

The Mand'alor had healed her which was a part of the reason why she stayed on Mandalore. He was the closest thing she had to a family. He didn't know she was doing thing but she reckoned that he would be proud of her all the same. It was nice to hear that the Silver Jedi were similar in the treatment of others. It only served to confirm what she already thought.

"Yes, I am ready to learn to be a strong Jedi." This wasn't a decision that she hadn't come to lightly. Ana had mulled over it quite a bit before deciding to make the jump. Even if she never learned about the saber she was ready to anything else Matsu had to teach. "Thank you," she nodded. She vowed here and now to be a good student.

Matsu gave another nod of her head and since the last time she had seen Ana she had retaught herself, had healed her body and her connection to the force to bring back mpre of its energies to herself. Slowly Matsu thought about where they could begin while she walked and went to a room grabbing her satchel and filling it with several items, contact lenses for herself, her sabers, the taozin bracelet and she already had the false bottom of her satchel with the holocrons, with the cube and eye.

It was protected while taking herself in at the mirror for a moment Matsu ensured she looked like an explorer and less like a teacher. Since Ana couldn't fly yet or hover to be pulled along with the force the jedi had a few other ideas. One was using the speeders the other the creatures they had brought from Shri-tal while she grabbed a small bag of food cubes. Walking with her she held one out as the yellow mouse with large puffy cheeks about a foot and a half tall jumped on her shoulder.

The thunder bolt style tail and pointed ears enough while it mewled eating with its tiny hands almost smiling. The Ami was there now while she continued forward leading the way towards the Jun-la's that were in the pens sleeping.

Ana walked along with Matsu wondering where they were headed. It didn't much matter though to Ana as she was just very excited to learn. She loved learning more than anything. She had to that testament a bookcase in her home of books that she had collected over the year. It was small for now but one day she would have a library of her own. Is there a library in the temple?" She questioned before seeing the cute little creature that was in her hand.

"What's that, it's so cute!" She squealed a bit. "Where are we going?" Ana had a million questions and was doing her best to for the moment to contain herself.

Matsu spoke looking back. "There is a grand library, electronic and tomes for information." She kept walking and would welcome the questions as she looked upon the jungle outside. The large Jun-la was there as its sightless face sniffed the air with a star shaped nose. It scented its master and rushed over while Matsu was made small with it standing over her. She was petting it with the fine fur on the creature and smiling. "This is a jun-la and this.." She motioned to the ami. "Is an ami there are creatures here in the Asobi system along with other things. We are going to go to one of the other temples with the archives."

Later when there was free time she would need to go explore the forest. It seemed to hold creatures that she had never seen before. It would also not surprise her if Matsu took her out there. Her master knew that she enjoyed adventure and exploring just as much as anyone else.

The young woman was glad that she also already knew much of her story so she didn't have to go through it again. "I'm I allowed to read anything in the library?" She didn't want to get herself kicked out or in trouble when she was just starting out.

Matsu climbed up on the jun-la and offered her arm for Anastasia while she spoke. "Of course." The library was built in one of the silver jedi temples and as Matsu waited for her to get ready she set the creature out. They were moving faster with its covering the ground but it was smoother, no jostling which is why they were strong mounts you could ride and not get motion sickness from. She was looking now while they moved and ducking under some braches that thankfully the taller girl would be able to see coming. "There are many books at the library and it has some interesting things. you never know what you are going to find."

She had never ridden an animal before however she felt it quiet exhilarating. Ana didn't even know what they were currently ridding but she enjoyed it all the same. What is this creature?" Ana loved animals and caring for them. She found them better than people as they couldn't hurt her but instead relied on her for everything.

"I love animals," she smiled as she jumped off the back as they reached the library. Lightly she pet it a few times. Ana wouldn't ask as she was sure it was a knight privilege but she wondered whom took care of the animals.

"I bet you can find just about anything but I rather be outside. Outside with a book would be perfect."

Matsu looked at Anastasia and spoke "This is a Jun-la they are creatures the Del-Ya raise and train to help the people of the system. Very skilled creatures for transporting, tracking and they are well they are warm and friendly. Plus they can hear and smell you for miles so if you need one of them to come to you they can." Matsu kept them moving while they came to the large open fields of the planet and in the distance on the lake was the large shrine, the large temple estate they had built a home underneath going deeper into the planet finding ruins, finding vaults and many more things. "Here you can find many things and the ruins under the temple which we are still exploring."

"I would love to help with the exploring, or taking care of the animals." Really all she wished for was something to occupy her time and her mind. She needed a distraction from herself and all of this seemed to be as good as any she could find.

The booze were helpful but she knew that wasn't going to in the long run help her. This she had a feeling would. Putting her heart and soul into training and uncovering secrets seemed to be an alright thing. It would be something that Azrael would certainly approve of.

"What has been found thus far?"

Matsu smiled as she walked. "well we got into one of the vaults and found an ancient Taung hammer, the quasi mystical Warriors of Shadow Sisterhood were on this world. Their spread across the system from the unknown regions through the ancient hypergate on the moon and their spirits were trapped here. We found them and a great deal of riches they took from those who came after them. I will admit I was impressed it was like looking at a catalog of pre-republic history and from a species that has become extinct. We unearthed more sections leading into some remnants of Xim."

She hadn't heard of many of the artifacts that they had found. This just meant that she was going to research them in this library. If they let her she planned to take the books outside and study under the trees.

"I'm sure everything is stored away somewhere safe. Could I help? Even if it's just brining the Jedi Masters coffee. What are you going to teach me first?"

"Well you will not be getting coffee for jedi masters or knights. You are a student here and that means you shall be learning." She led the way, the large temple built more like an estate to match the other places on the lake with two large levels above and a full length swimming pool leading down a large garden. The lake with a temple shrine for the Asobi gods on it where a class of jedi were working in the calm.

Matsu was going towards the lift as it went down, past the two levels of the temple dedicated solely to her. "The temple here is built on my home, when we constructed it there wasn't much but then we dug a little deeper and found." She stopped as the doors opened and a large hallway was there, filled with soft lights and the stone work looked like carved marble almost. Smooth with symbols dictating where they were going.

Matsu started walking while she pointed towards the one section that led into the vaults for the order. Scanners, keypads and sensors were everywhere while further down there was more restoration and sections being fixed up. "We have been building further and further down fixing what we can and we found this room." The one room they went into was massive just carved taung statues in armor and with hammers.

"It looks like it was used for holding a great deal of things but we have converted it." The shelves were filled with tomes and records, more books and datapads for find what they needed to get for information. The jedi took a datapad off the shelf and spoke. "Knowing what I know about you and your witch skills there is a fair deal I managed to teach you for those spells can be translated so we will do a quick review."

Ana followed along in almost amazement. The planet was not only beautiful but also a very calming presence as well. This was exactly what she needed at this point in time of her life. She was happy that her research had brought her here. "It's so beautiful and you made it all yourselves. I have never seen anything like it." She had seen the destruction of places and the evil of the galaxy however nothing compared to this wonder of the galaxy.

"Review of the spells I already know? There are a few I know and those I don't I use a book for which I brought with me." Nodding slightly she pulled a book from her satchel.

"Well we didn't make all of it only what is above, down here we merely took what was already made and fixed it up... but your spell book will come in handy. The Warriors of Shadow fought Kanzer and other strange groups in the unknown regions of space, they faced horrors and used everything at their disposal. It is yours to use and learn, we have locked away a great deal of the more dangerous tomes and datacrons. This is open for all students as it the oens if you wish to go out and explore on one of the creatures."

"I would like that, I do enjoy exploring and learning. If my spell book would help others I'm also willing to share that with others." She was excited to get started and learn more about the silver Jedi. They seemed to be in line with the type of things that she was looking to learn in her life.

"Your spellbook should you wish to add it to the collection would be most welcome." Matsu led the way through the library into a more open area as she spoke surrounded on the far sides of the circle by books and shelves. "Alright this is the spot, remember what I showed you on Mimban and display it."
