Who's the Boss? (Darth Ferus)

[Tanalth]

As they entered Tanalth had a decent enough look around. Despite how dark it was she was able to see what appeared to be a usual entrance into a temple, with a large grand open room of crubling pillars and cracked stones and the like all over. Some sand had spilled from the outside creating little mounds here and there. It was old and dusty and likely had something or other crawling around inside. As she took more steps in Tanalth commented "Not bad. Could use a woman's touch though." She stopped and held her hand up to stop [member="Darth Ferus"] before saying "Hold it. I've got that 'bad thing' tingle on the back of my head." That was what she always called it whenever her forces senses warned of danger. ​

 

[Darth Ferus]

"That probably means we're about to be attacked. Aren't you so excited for it!?" So elated, the Sith wouldn't even begin to make out what [member="Tanalth"] had sensed, rather just went to the handle of his lightsaber, pulling it free and on as he glanced about wildly, waiting for something, anything, to try to attack the duo. He clearly wasn't the best for defense at the moment, but once the fighting began it was clear he would pretty much destroy anything in his way.

 

[Tanalth]

She glanced back at him and said "Right..." in an awkward manner before hearing something. She raised her blaster before, sure enough, battle droids appeared. For being older models and they were in decent condition. Some a little rusty around the joints but otherwise intact. They scanned and aimed their weapons before firing on the two, Tanalth only pushing [member="Darth Ferus"] aside to take the blunt of the shots. Given her Gen'dai nature she was able to take them in stirve before priming her blaster and saying "Eat this, clanks!" before opening fire. ​

 

[Darth Ferus]

[member="Tanalth"] would find Ferus not so easy to push back, especially when he ended up pushing back the Gen'dai with a quick burst of the Force. Maniacal laughter sounded off from his form as a golden saber snapped to life, and without warning the droids firing upon them began to fly backwards. With the Force itself infused into his lightsaber, the Darth swung the blade around, and upon contact it would blast outwards, blowing apart the droids upon contact, and blasting back the rest.

It was clear the Sith Lord was enjoying himself, possibly too much.

 

[Tanalth]

The sudden push of the Force had stumbled her back a bit. She shouted a "Hey!" at [member="Darth Ferus"] before seeing his golden saber snap out before he lashed his way against the droids. She stood there and watched as he cut through them like cake, clearly enjoying himself a little too much. She huffed a smirk while watching him, sharking her head a bit as the droids were more focused on him now. When it was over and he stood among all the droid remains she walked up and gave him a hard pat on his shoulders while saying "I think you go 'em." before walking onward. ​

 

[Darth Ferus]

A light chuckle escaped his lips as the droid bodies fell around him. A soft hiss sounded off as his lightsaber retreated back into it's home, leaving just the hilt within his grasp. "Aye, I'd assume so. Shall we ca-" Golden eyes went from the remains to [member="Tanalth"] as she walked on, and with another chuckle he would fall in behind her, both hands resting behind his head. "Are you enjoying yourself?"

 

[Tanalth]

When he asked she answered "I'm ecstatic as can be, boss. I just think compared between the two of us, someone's a little crazy." She leaned down and shushed him before saying "Just between us, I think we both know who it is." After that she kept walking while saying "But none of that really matters. I just want to find whatever's down here. Hopefully it'll be something good. Something I can use on Kez when I see him again." The tone of her voice was almost devious excited when she mentioned Kezeroth to [member="Darth Ferus"] .​

 

[Darth Ferus]

"Kez? As in the Gen'Dai clone? Kezeroth?" Slowly more than one piece of the puzzle began to click together. A light tilt of his head, and the Sith completely forgot about the wonderful tomb they were in, and the fact she had shushed him. "You know where he is then? Tell me. Tell me now." Kezeroth was a target of the Sith Assassins, and a big one, literally and on the list of important people to snuff outly. Golden eyes only fixated on [member="Tanalth"] now, ever impatient for a response.

 

[Tanalth]

Tanalth stopped and turned when [member="Darth Ferus"] seemed to know about Kezeroth. If anything she was more annoyed that he seemed more anxious to find him now. When he demanded she tell him she pushed him away while saying "Push off. I don't know where he is, okay? If I did I'd be there by now with a big fracking gun pointed at his head. Instead I'm here trying to help you dig through this place." After that she beamed a little while saying "And for the record, no one kills him but me!"​

 

[Darth Ferus]

A frown settled upon his lips, but he did not press the subject further with [member="Tanalth"] . She did not know where his prey was, and as such this was no longer his focus. Golden eyes went back to the cavern as he waved her on, offering a shrug. "Who ever finds him first can kill him. Now, carry on." For now, they were going to finish the mission at hand. Perhaps later he might interrogate her for more information on their quarry.

Tanalth only gave an annoyed huff before moving on. If anyone was going to find her first it would be her and her alone. For her own reasons, which she often kept to herself, she had her personal strife with Kezeroth she planned to settle on day. Once she was strong enough of course to face a fully mastered monster like him. As they went onward the path was blocked by rubble, including a large boulder. The gen'dai smirked before dropping her things. Her hand now free she was able to move it all with her immense strength. She grasped it hard, digger her fingers in deep, before moving them with a great heave. ​

[Darth Ferus]

A bemused smirk formed on the Sith's face as he watched [member="Tanalth"] 's impressive display of strength. His own fingers flexed in anticipation though as when the boulder moved, he could feel the Dark Side seep out like a fog. They were close. He ignited his saber as something else began to creep out all the same though. A low growl came from the darkness within, and the ground shook as something rather large began to walk towards them.

"A temple guardian. I assume this is the inner most chamber, and where we were going. You prepared?"

 

[Tanalth]

Tanalth gave a final huff before looking back to [member="Darth Ferus"] . As she did she saw him produce his saber, making her give an questionable look. Of course the growl that followed alerted her to what he had already sensed. And to think that odd feeling in the back of her head was just the willies. She turned back as he asked before holding out her giant blaster rifle again, along with everything she she was armed with, and asked rhetorical "Are you?"​
