Why a Bantha?

A YT-1300 Light Freighter zooms through the sandy atmosphere of Tattoine. The Freighter had a unique paint style of Graffiti to it and the vibrant colors of it were more identifiable as it touched down on the sandy and gritty ground of Tattoine. Great, a desert planet just the place Zathra wanted to be......well she did need to find some stuff and explore the galaxy while she was at it, sure their were gladiators, a huge plant thing in the ground and people in rags that shot at you while racing speeding cars called pod-racers. This was certainly quiet a unique place that Zathra had ever been, will other than her homeplanet but that was for another time. A steel ramp extended from the bottom of the ship with a clang and hiss of metal. A mandalorion walked out clad in mandalorion armor with a Graffiti art style, although the Mando's helmet was held tightly under her right arm. Zathra whistles a tune as she walked off of the ramp and onto the sandy ground and then once off, she closes the ramp of her freighter with the hiss and clang of metal. She blew some of her short hair off to the side of her face as she walked around and into a nearby sandstone building. She sat down at a small table with benches on either side. Zathra placed her multi-colored helmet down on the table before taking out one of her cold spray cans from her holster on her leather boots. She began to spray a vibrant design on the side of her helmet.

Hot, sticky, and unbelievably sandy.

Such was the description of the massive dessert that was Tatooine. She didn’t like hot places; there was only so many layers of clothing one can remove before being considered indecent. Yet, most people here covered up in layers and layers of clothing to prevent sunburn. Anyone hear of sunblock? She clicked her tongue and adjusted her sunglasses.

The white tank top hugged her figure. The counterfeit hunting papers were stuffed into the back pocket of her jeans. She figured it would be easy taking what she needed, but how she was going to get it off the planet was a very different story. The blaster was holstered onto her belt.

What she needed was a ship.

A freighter had swooped in and landed. She could see it from where she sat. Its pilot was a skinny girl who Sitara could only describe as colourful. Interesting. Women weren’t as easy to charm as men, but she’d take her chances.

She headed over to wear the chick with the spray paint sat. She perched herself on her table and smiled.

That ship that just landed, it’s yours, right?

A Clan Fett Crest was begging to take shape up until a woman in a white tanktop approached the bland and strong table she was sitting at. Man, her outfit needy some color, I means sure white was a nice color but so was orange, green, and purple they were even better all combined onto the same outfit. She watched as the woman sat atop the table she was working on her helmet at. She wiped some of her orange hair out of her right eye before responding to the question about her ship. Will, she hoped that this woman wasn't judging how her ship looked because, will would she do something......probably with her blaster or her spray can but she wasn't sure as to what.
"Yeah, it's mine.....why you like it?!.......Anyways your tanktop needs some dazzle as I say, but it's your problem........as you can see......I am the most colorful one here, both by hair color, emotion and by outfit but ehhh.......yeah it's my ship...even though I already said that"
Zathra put her colorful spray can back in the holster on her left leather boot, but when she ducked down, the Clan Fett Crest tattoo was visible on the back of her neck. She then sat back up and pulled her helmet off to the side before whistling a tune and looking around, seeing if anybody would join this group that she had come across..........even though it was just her and.........well this woman that she just came across.

The girl was rather…eccentric. She was also taller than she looked up close. She spoke with a lot of pauses, and seemed to think of her as quite plain…Perhaps a little too simple for the skinny girl’s taste. Sitara rolled her eyes as the woman replied. Spazzy…Very Spazzy.

Okay. Yes. You’re colourful. We’ve established that.” She sighed. Okay, this chick was a bit of a loony bin. Perhaps she’d try asking someone else. Maybe someone with a little more muscle and a little less…spray paint.

However, who’d be crazy enough to help her steal a bantha? Much less ship it off to coruscant. She restrained saying more than she should. “You have any plans today?” She asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Will yes but it's been taking a while......I've been looking for my father Tyranus Collik because I'm his daughter, Zathra........and well he didn't know about my birth so I'd like to meet him......Also why are you asking if I'm doing anything.........just curious...as I usually am about stuff I don't get such as..............well that's for another time."
Zathra then leaned back in her seat and stretched her arms over her head. She brought her arms back down and then reached to her neck and then took hold of a cold, smooth necklace pendant. She held the pendant off and then sighed at some memories she had from it. It was given to her by her friend, Olkie when she was in the Mandalorion army. Olkie gave it to her it once they were behind enemy lines once......and for the final time, he........was shot and every once and awhile when she would go to sleep she would think about it repeatably. This was all she had of her old and long life Friend Olkie, every one had loss.........but Olkie was one of her last people she considered family since her mother's death due to a unknown disease. Zathra put the pendant of the necklace back in the inside of her armorweave shirt under her armor before twirling some of her colorful hair in one hand while leaving the other stretched out in front of her.

Your dad is Mr. Collik?” Sitara’s eyes widened in disbelief. She pulled away for a second, resisting the urge to laugh at her newfound discovery. Perhaps…Perhaps this was some kind of set up. Whatever it was, it worked well for her. Maybe there was a way for her to get everything she wanted after all. And how could this man not know about the birth of his own daughter? She shook her head and smiled.

“Okay, well, I know your dad, and if you help me, maybe I can help you.” She wouldn’t tell the girl exactly what was gonna happen yet. In fact, she wanted to surprise her first. If the girl wanted to accept the deal, then perhaps she’d introduce the crazy colourful chick to her metal father. All she needed was a ship to accomplish her plans, and Zathra had just that.

"Really, you'd do that? Thank you......I would give you a hug but......that would be awkward so what do you need my colorful ship for?"
Zathra couldn't believe what the woman was saying. Could this woman really know and find her father? Will she hoped for it at least. Zathra continued to whistle a tune as her mind wondered about colors for some strange reason. For some reason she loved colors, even though she was kinda color blind but luckily.....not by much......will she wasn't exactly sure, maybe she was, maybe she wasn't. Color was her profession, but it was different when she was kinda color blind for some strange reason. Zathra licked her lips before getting up, but before she did she turns back to Sitara.
"So do you wanna have something to eat or no? No don't worry if you do want something I won't color dye it........will I might but then it well taste the same.....did you ever wonder if their flavored color dye for food so that chicken would have a fishy aftertaste or like a watermelon or watery aftertaste. But hey, it's your choice.......will mostly mine but......ok.........ok are you annoyed with me being full of myself?

This kid was just all over the place; her words were bouncing off the walls. She was twitchy, and Sitara wasn’t sure what she was going to get herself into. Did she really want to spend a few hours with this chick? Not really. Perhaps she probably should just try waiting for someone else to come along.

The day was moving though and despite Tatooine’s business, everybody just looked so serious. She sighed. She had no choice, she sighed. “Yeah I’d do it for you.” She sighed again once the she asked if she was hungry.

Nah, it’s fine.” She said. “I actually…I’m not hungry.” Truth was? She didn’t want paint on her chicken. “Do you have a hunting license?"

"Will, no not yet.....although I do have a few wanted posters of myself on a few planets, a certificate for graduating the Mandalorion military boot camp, a pilot's license, multi-language license and a few others that I cannot remember....oh and also the strange thing is that although I'm a artist.....I'm kinda colorblind.."
Zathra then walked back over to the bench and laid down at the end of it against the wall and she crossed her arms across her chest and closed her eyes. although, she looked asleep but she wasn't, will as far as she was concerned. She couldn't believe that this woman might actually know her father but....of course the woman could probably be lying but she just had to wait to find out. Zathra was exhausted from the three previous nights awake for the whole night on a smuggling mission. Now this mission, was extremely important to her.....if she didn't finish it...well their would be great consequences for her by her employer for this mission. Zathra opened her eyes and adjusted the silver ring in her nose before reaching down to he leather belt and pulling out her datapad. She scrolled till she got to the destination, objects and time for to meet her employer to deliver him the goods she smuggled off of Naboo. Zathra laid the datapad on the table accidentally forgetting about the woman sitting at the table for a minute. Zathra took her left glove off and stroked it with her right hand until her hand ran across a wrapped up gash on her arm. She bit her lip as she felt immense pain from the wound and then she unwrapped the bloody bandage she laid it down on the table to examine the wound. Yeah their was a large gash, the gash ran from her elbow to the begging of her hand and it was bleeding. Zathra grabbed a cloth from her leather belt and dampened it with some water from her water bottle and then she slowly rubbed it on the gash. The cloth quickly became bloody and she grunted slightly in pain whenever the cloth went over a deep cut on her forearm.

Sitara was just…weirded out. That was the word Sitara would use to describe this chick: weird. The other woman just ended up laying down and doing her all thing, being totally absorbed in her own world. Perhaps Sitara should just go, kidnap the banta and leave the other girl here to rot. Who really cared if she didn’t get reunited with her father anyways? She’s gone on long enough without daddy dearest for her to really need to see him. Sitara stuffed her fingers in her pockets and hopped off the table.

The girl was thinking about something. She was bleeding and she looked like her mind was elsewhere. Was this Sitara’s problem? No. Did the woman want Sitara to ask her what was going on? Probably. Was Sitara interested? Not really.

Look, if you’re busy, it’s fine.” She said, as she stared at the other shops next to them. The girl did looked exhausted and well, Sitara didn’t need anyone who can pull her wait down. Besides, this girl looked like she’d just drag her down. Was it illegal taking an intact banta out of tatooine? Sitara didn’t care. She kinda just wanted one. Where she was gonna host it? She had no idea. Perhaps she could buy an actual house on Coruscant. Maybe one with a yard.

Nah. Too expensive.

She could always call Xander.

Anyways, sorry to waste your time.” She said, a smirk on her face as she began to walk away.

"I can still do it for you!! i'll do it for free!!!"
Zathra said as she began wrapping up the gash mark on her left arm with a bandage. She stood up and walked in front of Sitara wanting to see if she would accept her offer again...if not well, she could always be late to her employer.....and........well that's for another time. Zathra planted her feet right in front of Sitara with a smug and straight look on her face. This woman better not think she couldn't pull her own wait, heck this woman probably never did any smuggling runs or anything dangerous.....although one look at her belt told otherwise. Dang Nabit, she had a lightsaber with her.....this wasn't gonna end will for her. Zathra then just crossed her arms and waited to see if the woman would take her up on her offer again.

I can still do it for you! I’ll do it for free!

Ahh. The words Sitara wanted to hear. Now who said you had to use the force for everything? She grinned, before returning to her neutral expression as she turned to face the tiny woman who was taller than her. She had no intention of killing anything today, but she did want to kidnap something.

Okay, well, I have papers and you’re going to help me kidnap a banta.

Would the girl ask her what the banta was for? Could the banta fit inside her ship? From her memory it was probably big enough. How was she supposed to bring the banta all the way to the ship alive?

That was where the other girl would come in. She could always fly to them once they both had the banta restrained.

I’m Tara."

((( "the tiny woman who was taller than her" Haha I love that :p )))
"Wait, why of all things a Bantha? I mean I like animals but......why a Bantha? Also nice to meet your Tara, that's a nice name!"
Zathra was just being curious and she hoped that Tara wouldn't take it the wrong way. Tara, now that was a nice name but so was Zathra, Emmet and so many other names that she could save for later. Zathra's mind began to wonder as to what the Bantha was supposed to be for. The craziest idea she came up with was that it wad going to be used as a huge pet for some rich person or that they would paint the animals hide....no that wouldn't go with Zathra no matter what. I mean, she likes animals but she would never ever paint one that just seemed kinda cruel to her for some strange reason.

OOC: Haha thanks.

Usually when someone introduces themselves, its common courtesy to give your name to the other person. Not this girl however. Did Tara have to paint the entire picture for her since she was too busy painting other things? Like her entire wardrobe? Tara’s eyes ruffled in irritation; she sighed and let herself relax. “And your name is?

She put a hand to her hip and waited for the girl’s answer.

((( Uh, I said it above

Zathra Collik said:
father Tyranus Collik because I'm his daughter, Zathra
, So can you do in your next post like "Oh yeah sorry I forgot" or something like that )))
"Well my name is Zathra. but some people call me Zath for short"
Zathra said before recalling something. Didn't she already tell Tara her name, yeah she did so she must have not heard it or just ignored it.. Man, this woman was kinds annoying seeing as how she already said her name much earlier in the conversation. Zathra pulled her black glove back over her bandaged hand as to avoid hurting the gash on her arm more. Zathra crossed her arms across her chest and loosed around the building slightly before turning back to Tara. She had to admit, she liked the building it just needed a picture painted upon one wall to add a bit more flavor to it.

OOC: Oops. Forgot about that.

"Right, Zathra." Did the girl mention her name before? Yeah, she probably did. Sitara scratched her head and analyzed their location. It looked like the gate was over that way. She removed the crumpled papers from her back pocket and smoothed it out. It looked very much real, though Sitara had it made several years ago. She already used it once, and there were no problems. Plus, if ever they gave her a hard time, she could probably just use her magic force voodoo powers and trick them into letting her in.

But first.

"I need to find some Bantha Fodder." Tara said, and looked at the buildings. There were lots of street vendors who probably sold fodder for cheap.

Zathra nodded and then followed Zathra. She needed fodder, or food for some Bantha to attract them. Zathra walked through the stalls and examined some of the Bantha fodder prices before she got to quite a cheap one. She walked over to the counter and pulled out a leather satchel tied to her belt snugly. The Satchel held quite a large amount of credits along with a few spray-cans and her favorite paintbrush. Zathra pulled out some credits and placed then on the counter of the Stall hard.
"I'll have about 16LBS of Bantha Fodder"
The marketer turned and glared at Zathra wondering what she would need it for. But well, money was money no matter what the buyer needed the product for. He walked behind the counter and took out a bag weighing a total of 16LBS and then heaved it over the counter. Zathra paid the man the credits and then picked the bag up between her right shoulder blade to make it easier to hold and then she walked back over to Tara.

Surprisingly, Zathra was fairly cooperative. Once Tara declared that she needed Bantha Fodder, the girl just hopped over to one of the stalls and bought them a few pounds of stinky bantha food. She grinned as the girl reappeared. “Oh wow. Thanks.” She said, and started walking towards the gates. “Follow me.” She motioned, looking behind her at the skinny, taller girl.

They approached the gates and one of the guards halted them. She took out her papers and showed them to the guard. He seemed a bit iffy about it at first, but then decided to let her pass.

Well, Miss…er…Slahlvo.” The guard said, staring down at her papers before looking back up at her. “What about your companion over there. Does she have papers?

She smiled sweetly. “Her? Nah. She’s here to help me collect. It’s a sport after all and I do need a lackey.”

The guard nodded and signalled for the other guards to open up the gates. Sitara smiled, winking at Zanthra.

Let’s go.

Zathra followed Tara to the gates and then slightly grinned at the word lackey. Sure, she kinda was one but not really....will not to herself. After all, she was a good actor....or at least she had been told that a lot at her school in theater. Will, that could be saved for a book or something because what was important was doing this job and getting a Bantha. Zathra put on a moody face when the guard let them pass and before they left Zathra decided to try her luck at trying to act and be funny at the same time.
"To think....she doesn't even pay me anything...you know what I'm talking about right?"
The guard just nodded and let out a big smile and a chuckle. Yep, that did do what she wanted hopefully Tara didn't think anything bad about it. Zathra whistled a tune again while walking through the gate holding the bag upon her shoulder blade.

Desert. Just so much frigging desert.

They’d have to walk all the way over to a place bantha liked to hang out in. Now, Sitara wasn’t really good with directions and she didn’t really think this entire plan through. All she wanted to do was walk out here, find a bantha, drug it a little, and then bring it home. Of course, she still had to drop the chick off to her father.

Speaking of which, how did these two even separate? Plus, Zathra and her father couldn’t have been any more different. Zathra was kooky, probably not right in the head and well Tyrannus was a serious and charming fellow. She was perplexed, but well, her and her father were quite different as well.

So, how’d you and your dad fall apart?” She asked as she began to move through the desert, pushing the sand away with her boots.
