The point you seem to be missing is that all role-playing is "basically final fantasy", if you're referring to turn-based combat. You can't just go and ignore someone else's actions, and just because you're using a different mode of combat doesn't evade the fact that you're still doing the same thing.

I think you missed my point. I said "basically Final Fantasy" because the way most people play here (simply 'mages', 'wizards', and the like, just with 'laser swords') can easily be done in your average fantasy setting. If you ignore the space adventure, why Star Wars?

Reality:
Star - Balls of gas
Wars - An ongoing battle

Fiction:
Star - In space, where you can travel and stuff
Wars - A war between the dark side and the light side

Okay, ↑ that don't help but what he's saying is in the star wars trilogy, you know the movies and stuff, there's a whole lot more of space battles acknowledged than in the forum. Maybe I'm still wrong but whatever

The "star" is what makes Star Wars and Star Trek so unique. Its not about just staying on one planet, its about adventure and exploring. Its about who's gonna get shot by a laser beam- I mean I got what were talking about lol

And that is the unfortunate fact we have come to terms with. Though, there is some hope! I mean, look at the poll. A lot of people seem to want to play but can't find anyone else interested.
