She nodded AMD started directing orders "OK fighters I'm sending a location to you head there and perform strafing runs on all targets " she said and sighed stretching out she turned to [member="Ice"] and smiled"I'm doing OK little shaking doesn't hurt me"sge said with a wink and grin

She kept firing back at [member="Airal Thamne"], while answering, "That's what they all say! I'm not will never fall for that again."

Asteria smiled as she saw [member="Aedan Miles"] and a rescue team coming to get her and thought, 'Thank you, [member="Ice"].' Then she cried out in pain as another bullet hit her, the leg this time. She still shot at the Togruta woman though her leg burned with pain.

"Yea, though I'm not going to be strolling around for a while," Asteria replied with an unamused laugh, "Let's get the flip out of here ASAP, with that Togruta woman, preferably as our prisoner."

"Heh. I imagine not." He said with a smirk. Looking down at the battle below, he could see the fighters come down and knock out what few emplacements were left, thus clearing the way for Asteria, Aedan, and his men.

"Ok well. At least Asteria is safe. More or less. Hopefully we can catch that soldier though. Who knows what she could be worth."

Getting back on the comm he sent another message to Aedan. "Don't take too long buddy. The prisoners have been retrieved. If Asteria is safe, we need to bug out as soon as we can. I can give you a few minutes, but that's about it. Ice out."

It was then another message pinged his comm. It was from [member="Eldoc Quasat"]. He frowned knowing the man had turned on them for their very first job. In this world of mercenaries though. He wasn't sure if he could really rely on anyone anymore. Perhaps it was best to just let it go once the fight was over. "Well at least you're buying tonight. So do you get paid if you lose?" He added with a smirk. It was good to have a victory under their belts.

[Aedan Miles]

Aedan had been going to respond when his force danger sense went of and his head snapped around without even thinking his hand waving towards the two thermal detonators that had been thrown. Using the force he sent a wave out towards them knocking the dets away from his men as the other hand made a fist and yanked gripping the two men and yanking them towards him and off of their feet. He snarled and shock his head muttering into his com. "Thats a no go door is toast after what she just threw at me if I wanted to waste time cutting through it and her being gone I could but lets get out of here send the drop ship down we are pulling out." Aedan reached down and pulled Asteria to her feet wrapping an arm around her waist after he shut off his shoto and started pulling her back towards where the dropship would land his other hand holding his lit lightsaber and flicking away shots absently. His team followed him quickly weapons flashing as they kept the enemy behind cover for now.

Ow, ow, ow, every step was ow, but she ignored it firing behind her as [member="Aedan Miles"] helped her onto the dropship. Asteria had hoped that they would take the woman prisoner, but one thing at a time.

The fun thing about XR-01 Anti Personnel Pressure Senstive Thermal Detonator's were that they were made to fight force users. The second Aedan's force push touched the thermal detonators they went up covering a 20m radius, vaporizing everything in their range like the were made to do. Airel closed the door which turned into a melted heap.


Airal starting making her way deeper into the prison. It was surely terrible topside, she had never had them go off like that, she hadn't realized someone had used the force of course. The grenades surely hit something and maybe hurt the others. One thing was for sure, she was lucky to be alive. Airel was going to be more careful next time she picked a fight that was certain.

 

[Aedan Miles]

Aedan bit back a curse as he finally shut down his lightsaber and picked up Asteria walking forward as his men clipped ropes onto their belts and started to be pulled up by a crank system meanwhile he gathered the force about himself and not even waiting for the ship to land jumped up and onto the boarding ramp walking forward and setting [member="Asteria Starcatcher"] down on a seat. Looking out as he used the force to guide the free rope to Jarg who was quickly pulled up into the ship. Looking around he keyed his com and calmly stated. "Miles and company are on get us the kark outta here."

Asteria started to slip into unconsciousness as her adrenaline faced and her wounds screamed in pain. She tried to stay awake but eventually slipped into the void of her memories both dark and good.

"Alright Saki. Good job. Get our fighters back in, and get us out of here before anything else goes wrong. I'll be checking on our wounded.". He smiled warmly her way, before letting her get back to her duties.

With that, he headed down and met the crews returning from the battle. Most of his teams had made it out alright. Fortunately his people weren't the first to charge in. So they didn't take the brunt of that trap. Still, not everyone was as lucky. As evidenced by [member="Asteria Starcatcher"] who had just arrived.

"Nice work he said to [member="Aedan Miles"] . I'll take it from here." Medical crews were already standing by and quickly took her from Aedan. Laying her out on a stretcher and hauling her away, with Ice walking beside her to the infirmary.
