So, the Omega event ended, and now begins perhaps the most important part of the whole shebang. How do we divvy up the goodies we won?

We won 1 gold, 2 silvers and a plethora of individual awards covering all three teirs.

I think we should discuss as a faction what we're gonna do with all of this swag.

I saw and nice work, I was there with my jedi doing things but from experience with rewards have fun with them and sometimes it is good to go for broke to see what you can get.

We're having a staff meeting tomorrow night, at which the Omega board rewards will be discussed and we'll have some potential plans to discuss with the faction hopefully this weekend.

In addition, I've asked [member="William Kerkov"] to come up with some faction-specific rewards (IC and OOC) for everyone's tremendous work on this event.

Really great job, everyone! I couldn't be prouder of the work you all did, and I'm so pleased that the board staff recognized all the excellent work and effort you guys did.

Well then as a bit of counterpoint, we've got a silver as well (which is a 200 post flagship) so if the Gold is deemed more worthy for some other endeavor, 200 ain't that hard either.

I'd agree with [member="Cyrus Tregessar"]. A 100 post flagship, that is something of magic, an act of god. What's also resourceful, is that the FO can do about 100 posts in 2 days or less, so a 200 post flagship isn't half bad either. But I would really recommend using one of these rewards for the flagship, because making a flagship is far from a walk in the park and if we could make this task easier it would be better in the long run.

The Gold Reward will be used for a resource planet.

One faction silver reward will be used for 50% off a flagship.

The second faction silver reward, I would like to open up to you, the members, to discuss. You did the work, you wrote the posts, you won the event with limited staff involvement (*curtsies*) so you tell me -- what do you think we should do with the second silver?

I would vote for Allowance for +3 allies in an Invasion.

Come invasion time, it'd be good to have more ground / pvp oriented people since much of the faction is geared towards the Military's Navy.

Or, for no development required on a single starship submission up to 3000m.

The only problem with this is, I don't think we actually have 3 allies to call upon. Lol.

The Commonwealth seems like they want to work with us and the budding Sith faction (if they ever come about) could potentially be an ally, but who else?

I do like the idea of taking 'no development thread necessary for a location'. We could potentially create another bomb-ass city like Avalonia. But like Natasi said, it's your guys' choice. I'm just giving my two cents!

I mean I definitely like the idea of just saving the final silver award and cashing it in when we need it. Alternatively, we could always save this and get a nice unit of ground vehicles / troops to help the White Wolves and maybe get us a lovely artillery unit. I think maybe we should get a poll going for determining what to do with the last silver award?

We're going to do Phrik because it's the most beneficial for the faction as a whole. It can be used to create both armor as well as ship/vehicle plating.
