Woohoo Slavery... Wait a minute...

"I know how to use my tails, thats not the problem," she mumbled, nodding as he said she would have a scar. The Kitsune had already determined it would probably scar, so the idea didn't bother her at all. Kari just waited patiently for David to finish "fixing" her with the bacta. She had never really seen most of the med bay equipment before and was rather entranced by it. [member="David Ulmer"] [member="Vulpesen"]

"Wow, what happened to you, this thing was barely fixed well in the first place. What did you get the cheap doctor when you were sent to the hospital." He meant it as a joke but knew it to probably be true, if you didn't have money on that shit hole your life was forfeit. "Can't believe they were selling you like this, you could have been mistreated once and it would have scarred your face once... god i hate slavers." He worked and finished up, speaking. "Close your eyes, im going to tie a bandage over that scar so that it will heal a bit easier."

Kari closed her right eye but the left remained open. Her left eye was definitely the same red as her right, but the color was muted as if looking through fog at it. The clouded look was a definite sign of blindness to most people with a little bit of medical training. She couldn't move the eye or close the eyelid after the injury. That vibrodagger has cut her pretty deep and she had been terrified she wouldn't survive it. The kitsune hadn't even made it to the hospital. The slavers had found her unconscious body in the wreckage of her parent's speeder and taken her. One of the ones with basic medical skills had patched her up. [member="David Ulmer"]

He sighed and looked at the eye, knowing well enough what it meant as he bandaged over it and smiled at her. "All better now, ill help you walk though seeing as you are blind in the left field of vision now... did that happen before or after the crash if you don't mind my asking..." He reached around her and helped her up, his tail coming up and resting on her should while he would help her walk into the main room again and he paused to take a look around. Once satisfied with waht ever it was he had been doing in that moment he moved over to the couch and would help her sit down this time, making sure to sit on her right side so she wouldn't have to turn her head as much.

"The crash caused it. A few shards of glass ended up lodged in that side of my face. The slavers probably made it worse when they picked them out and cleaned me up, but it was mostly the accident that caused it," Kari explained as she turned slightly to look at him. She smiled slightly as she noticed that he had sat on her right side to avoid her having to turn completely to look at him.

"Sorry about that, didn't mean for you to have to really explain how it happened." As an after thought he used his tail which was still on her shoulder to push her hair back and pretended like he didn't even notice it did that. "So, what was with you reacting like you did back there, when you were still on the stage... i popped in and then you looked at me and...well you kinda sort of made yourself look more like you would expect them to want you too."

Vulpesen finally set the ship into hyperspace and made his way back to the med quarters, following the two love birds through the force. "So, how's our guest doing? Not too bad I hope after such an ordeal." He sat down next to them and felt Ace's nose pop from his coat to sniff at the new vulpine species. Of course, Vulpesen had heard of them, even met a few. But it was still strange to see a species so like his own. "You two finally work our that you are not, in fact, long lost cousins?"

"I... thought maybe if you thought I was pretty you'd save me," Kari admitted, blushing heavily as she did. She notied his tail flicking her hair back but didn't say anything about it. The Rufer breathed a sigh of relief as Vulpesen entered the room, saving her from more awkward conversations.

"So... what are you two exactly?" the Arctic Kitsune asked, tilting her head to the side slightly. She was very curious in general, and it wasn't everyday that you met someone else with a tail. Her five tails spread out behind her, wagging slightly to show she was happy. @Vulpesen @David Ulmer

"Zorren, proud unknowns of the known Galaxy, warriors of the shadows, and true fox people of this place we call the universe. What exactly are you is my question." He smiled as he listed off the absurd titles, clearly making a joke out of the fact that really it was quite impossible to know what a Zorren was unless you were one.

"A Ruferalahuin. We're an... interesting bunch. I can try to dig up some books on the subject for you. I'm not good at explaining," Kari replied, still blushing a bit. One of her tails was brushing against his arm as it wagged slightly. She was happy to finally be on a nice, warm, and safe ship with actual clothes on her body. The medical patch over her left eye felt odd, but as she could no longer see out of it anyway it didn't bother her much. [member="David Ulmer"]

"Now now, no need to do that im sure that something will come out of simply relaxing and going slow about it. Also, do you Ruferail... rufen... im just going to call you a Ruffer, ok? Anyways do you guys always look that red in the face or is that something you are doing." He smiled and poked at her face with his tail, the grin a bit wide and his eyes a bit bright at the suggestion.

Kari giggled and flicked him with several of her own tails. She was no longer blushing, but instead smiling cheerily at him.

"Nope! I'm just special I guess," she replied, no longer pestering him with her tails, though they were curled around her in a rather adorable manner. The little vixen looked cute wearing David's clothes with her tails positioned the way they were. [member="David Ulmer"]

"Right... [member="Vulpesen"] im going to go get something to eat, be right back." He stood up slowly and turned to head for where they kept the supplies, there had to be something back there that he could eat and be satisfied with just that. That was the part he hated about leaving Veradune, everything cost so much to keep you satisfied as a Zorren.

Vulpesen nodded to David and sat down next to [member="Kari Tovan"]. "I have to ask, what do you eat. I can't really envision you chewing on a sentient." His tail flicked behind him as he observed her. Unlike David, Vulpesen was a walking bestiary and encyclopedia of species, years of trading making him an expert in the life of the galaxy. The ruferalahuin were no excuse. "And before you say nerf burgers, I wasn't raised on Veradune. i know about your kind." Despite the fact he was asking what force users she ate, his voice was kind and calm, hoping for better over worse.

"Um... Ewoks are pretty tasty," Kari mumbled softly. "Aside from that I really only eat various meats. Um... Occasionally I might eat like... A twi'lek or something if I don't have Ewoks as an option."

She felt bad, telling Vulpes what she liked to eat. Every time she ate a sentient being she felt terrible, but she had to do it in order to survive. Maybe if Ewoks weren't so damn tasty she wouldn't want to eat them so much! Once you got past the ridiculous amount of fur, the little teddy bear like creatures were some of the most delicious things in the galaxy. @Vulpesen @David Ulmer

"You guys are funny, she doesn't actually eat sentients right?" He laughed until he realized both were being completely serious and then his eyes went a little wider as he stumbled upwards and started to stutter over his words. "Ill uh... the hyper-... its onfire." He started moving out of the area and made way for the engine room of the ship so that he had a bit of time to himself after hearing that the girl ate people, people with developed thought processes.

"Ah! I'm sorry! It's not like I like doing it!" Kari whined, getting up and racing after him. She tripped on her way and cracked her lip as she fell, but got up and kept running. She followed him to the engine room, using her enhanced sense of smell to track him even after he was out of site. She entered the room with him and smiled sadly. "I hate eating sentient beings... But I need to eat a force sensitive being once a month or I could die... I don't know of very many force sensitivities species that aren't sentient." [member="David Ulmer"]

Vulpesen rose a brow at Ulmer's reaction. Sure, even he had hoped for better, but he knew she didn't have a choice. "Well, at least I know that kid needs to learn how to lie. Otherwise, he'll never be able to keep up with the politicians." He rested back in hi seat and focused his attention t his ears. Surely there was no harm in listening in to how his apprentice handled the situation.

David jumped as he heard her voice and waved his hands, looking up at teh ceiling as he tried to form the words in his head before he saw her bleeding lip and sighed. "How did that happen..." He ignored the talk about eating people, he did not want to really talk about it at all but her bleeding was another issue as he began to lead her back to the medical area again and sighed. "HEY VULPS. YOU KNOW HEALING RIGHT." He knew the man was probably listening, but atleast yelling could give some hope he wasn't.

Vulpesen flinched as he heard the yell, lifting a hand to his ear. "Aye, I can. Bring her over." He shook the pain from his mind and focused his power into his hand, causing a golden light to for from his palm. "If life keeps on as it is, I might just switch to becoming a master healer." Why was it that every woman who came onto his ship needed to be healed?
