Now that Princess Kallisto had only thirty days to replace the native Gutretree workforce and supply LOOM with its own supplementary workers on Mustafar, she needed to find yet another slaver to help supply and re-supply miners for these two operations. Maybe one of these days, I'll contact a droid manufacture for specialized fiber optic droids which could work on the crystal-infused planet of Isis, she thought. But because of the magnetic challenges that the crystal quarries held, slaves were her best and cheapest option.
Therefore, she knew a meeting with the Hutts was inevitable. Gliding up to the Besadii Carrier, The Crystal Siren hailed the large vessel, made its peaceful presence known and announced:
"Your Honorable Sempra, Princess Thais Kallisto, ruler of Isis would like permission to board and discuss business opportunities between the Hutt Cartel and the Kallisto Mining Company."
As she waited to debark, she heard a highborne voice on The Siren's own comm channel with a message from Sempra himself, calling for order and stability. Yes, agreed the Princess in her mind. There is nothing like disorder to detract from one's profits. She knew this all to well from the Gutretree uprisings that happened every so often on her planet.
"We are waiting for a response from Sempra, Your Majesty," said her attendant Napo, also a Gutretree native. Her lips tightened with impatience, but she otherwise stood as still as a statue in preparation for boarding her shuttle.
