I doubt the Republic would want to do business with a company that abandoned them but that would be up to the senate if it ever comes up.

It's a non-issue entirely, based on what Silara is saying. There is zero importance behind a photo displaying an X-Wing besides someone's sentimental value towards said photo. In the end all that matters is the dev threads behind said ships, which we are all more than capable of doing with our now expanding NFU activity. If another company feels the need to "sue the Republic" nobody is going to care because IC money is arbitrary when speaking on terms of governmental funds. It's about as tightly controlled as timelines are.

There's no dramatic loss to the Republic here. We'll simply dev more ships.

The Republic has done alot of business with alot of shady people and failed to realize it. I think the Republic has become defunct - officially - two years ago.
