You're Hoth, and It's Cold (Rima)

Celty Ikon

Hammer-loving Scarf Pirate
Celty was almost finished braiding Rima's hair when she started talking about the spider-sandwich. Eather had been a particularly snooty girl, and anything the redhead and his best friend had done to her, he'd justified it as her having had it coming. He leaned forward and put his arms around her shoulders.
"Mmmmhm, but you had fun watching her squirm, didn't you?"

"For about five seconds. Then I started thinking about what might happen to my sandwich if I ever got on your nerves."
Rima joked, looking at Celty from behind. She examined her now finished braid.
"Wow. Not as bad as I thought it would be..."

"Psh, I would've eaten your sandwich. And then probably given you a different one later."
Celty kissed Rima lightly on the cheek as he pushed the braid over to the front of her shoulder.
"I told you I could."

Rima started putting on the top coverings as she spoke.
"So, what're we doing today, Hammerhead? More spelunking? Maybe looking around in the buildings?"

Celty pulled Rima back a little bit so she could lean on him, still leaving his arms around her.
"Well, we could take a little bike ride through the city. I'd like to find out how deep this cavern is. And, if you get cold, I'll obviously help."
He rested his chin on top of her head and telekinetically nudged their boots towards them.
"You know... I'd rather run around mysterious caverns with you than go on a normal date..."
[member="Rima Filenko"]

"Cold? I'm wearing more layers than you are! But yeah. Caverns sound a bit more fun than some cliche moonlight stroll or dinner and a movie."
Rima continued binding her braid, leaning against Celty as she did so. It was a normal feeling. Soothing. It made her smile for a lot longer than she had in a while.

"We've been doing dinner and movies this whole time, anyway. Except with more yelling and less cuddling."
Celty smiled as he held Rima. This felt... right. Like they'd both been trying to piece a very annoying puzzle together, and this was the finished picture. It was just as relaxing as finishing a puzzle, too.
"Y'know, I feel better about this because you're my best friend and I feel this way... Nobody else understands me well enough. Dunno if I'd want anybody else to."
[member="Rima Filenko"]

Rima started munching on a granola bar.
"I feel the same way. It's kind of like... We weren't meant to find someone else? I don't know... It's weird. But also not weird."

Celts followed Rima's example, grabbing a cereal bar and crunching into it.
"It's a little sad, if you think about it... I mean... Would we have even been able to move on if we didn't find each other again?"
[member="Rima Filenko"]

Rima leaned forward so she could turn and face Celty completely.
"Oh, so now you regret me trying to kill you on Dantooine?"
She smirked at him jokingly.

"Hell no."
Celty leaned over and kissed Rima as hard as he could without having to twist his body around. He gently shifted her so she was in his lap facing him, and ruffled her hair a little bit as he pulled away.
"You trying to kill me has resulted in me wanting to kiss that smirk every time I see it. So... that'd be a total lack of regret."
[member="Rima Filenko"]

"I've only wanted to kiss you since I was six years old, so..."
Rima shrugged, giving Celty a tiny kiss in return.
"You know, if we don't get a hold of ourselves, we'll be here all day."

"As nice as that would be, we came here to look around, so... let's look around."
Celty crawled out from under Rima and out of the tent, slowly starting to pull the pins that were holding it up out. He grinned as the cloth began sagging.
"'Course... exploring and kissing don't have to be mutually exclusive..."
[member="Rima Filenko"]

Rima grabbed the blankets and the sleeping bags, crawling out of the tent behind him. The cold air finally managed to reach her. She slipped her mittens back on and put on her earmuffs.
"If we stop to make out every five minutes, we'll be in here for months!"

Celty finished collapsing the tent, and then gently put an arm around Rima. He rested his face in her hair, still smiling.

"Well, then, I'll walk around like this with you and we can both pretend that I'm not looking for the right moment for you to put your tongue in my mouth."

[member="Rima Filenko"]

"Somehow, that doesn't sound as nice as it's supposed to..."
Rima lightly flicked Celty's forehead and they loaded up everything on his bike. She looked to the left. Ew... Dead Wampas. She then looked to the right where a tunnel began.
"Left to the city, or right to the unknown?"

[color='#b22222]"Y'know, as nice as going into the most likely monster-infested tunnel sounds, I think I'm pretty sold on wandering around the big old abandoned city."[/color]

Celty grabbed Rima's hand with the arm that was around her and kissed her nose as they began walking towards his bike. His eyes lit up a little bit as he had an idea.

"How would you feel about learning to drive a little, Filly?"

[member="Rima Filenko"]

Rima looked at Celty skeptically.
"Didn't know you were so ready to die, Hammerhead. I'm as much a pilot as a Hutt is a dancer."

Celty rolled his eyes at Rima.
"Obviously, I'll keep my hands on the steering. I just think you should know how to drive a swoop without crashing it."
[member="Rima Filenko"]

"Well, okay then. Your funeral."
Rima sat down in the front of the swoop bike. She gently laid her hands on the handles, looking down at the gauges and little switches. Yep. She had absolutely no idea how to drive this thing.
